I don't think Almas deviated much from standard heelishness. While he wasn't as overt as someone like, say, Miz, he had his fair ammount of rule breaking and bending.

First of all: Shayna fucking rocks. Her presence reminds me of Minoru Suzuki, like one of those people that is legit dangerous, but at the same time they actually draw your attention to the violence they display. Considering she's new to pro-wrestling, it's amazing she can project that aura so well. As for the match itself, I enjoyed it a lot. Baszler being in control for much of the match, with Moon having offensive spurts is the best idea. The fluke-y finish worked well, and albeit some might have problems with the length of the armbar spot, I felt it was some well-made suspense. Good stuff. Shayna HAS to win the title on the near future.

I don't think I ever felt as tense for a wrestling match as I did here. God damn, this was fantastic. Both guys make you fall for every single nearfall, be with a finisher or a well placed combination of moves, or even the heelish distraction finish. Every single piece fell into place in this one, and it produced one of the best WWE matches ever, and if one were to say that it is THE best, I would believe that. Interesting to note, however, how in the early days of January we had a match where the ending result deflated the actual match, and I don't think this happened in this case, due to different builds. May Gargano have his run later. It shall come.

Fuck, the 2nd half of the match was good but my God, Mauro is the dirt fucking worst. Awful, awful.

This is the kind of match that must be amazing for the live audience, but watching it from home is pretty boring.

If Shayna having Ember Moon for two minutes and losing in what basically was a fluke makes her look not as badass as she's supposed to be, imagine what MiSu ends up looking like after having Okada in a leglock for 40 fucking minutes and he can still do his normal offense. IMO this match was tremendous.

Actually from all accounts that's precisely his role. Someone more experienced that elevates other talent. Also Shayna is the real fucking deal. Hope she semi-squashes Ember Moon here (nothing personal)

It's weird how AOP are able to do much safer buckle bombs than someone who has over a decade of wrestling experience like Rollins. Fun opener. AOP are fucking incredible in basically every basic level 'cept having distinguishable personalities (not like they should, Paul Ellering is enough for them)

As someone not from the USA, 3+ hour long NFL games bore me to death. The sport itself is nice and it has proven to be time and time again something exciting, but on average it tends to be just too... slow paced. On paper it is four 15 minute periods being stretched to ridiculous lenghts. Raw is 3 hours long. What is included on those hours may vary. The last few months were fairly good, with only the 25th Anniversary Raw being a slog.
