Greatest championship reigns
I'm actually pretty on board with Sheamus' 2012 reign. The fact that he provided the 2/3 Falls Match against Bryan and the Big Show match at HiaC that same year is enough for me to classify it as pretty damn good. More currently, Miz's 5th IC run was actually one of the best title reigns. He made DOLPH ZIGGLER seem relevant in 2016. That is impressive.

[2017-05-03-NJPW-Wrestling Dontaku] Kazuchika Okada vs Bad Luck Fale
This really didn't do it for me. It was interesting to see Okada defending his title against a "smaller" name, but it's a bit bothersome when the big monster heel is taken out of his feet almost a minute into the match and tries to go for the countout victory soon after. I guess Okada hitting a tombstone is cool and all, but this felt very... okay. Nothing really bad, but hard to say they did something great. Happy for Fale getting his title shot and I'm glad they didn't go long, but this match wasn't special at all. ** 3/4

WWE quirks, linguistic and otherwise
I don't think I've heard Michael Cole describe so many people as "fun to watch" in one night as he did yesterday. Balor, Swann and Enzo just off the top of my head.

WWE TV 05/01 - 05/07
Ok this finish was fucking amazing. Very good match too, completely exceed my expectations.

WWE TV 05/01 - 05/07
Jesus, Balor and Rollins almost killed each other.

WWE TV 05/01 - 05/07
Miz being outnumbered by faces two weeks in a row, and yet being the most entertaining in the segments as well.

WWE TV 05/01 - 05/07
By God, this starting segment is great. Alexa is actually a better heel than Charlotte and a way better promo.

2017 MOTY Yes/No Thread
YES for Braun/Strowman. If only for that ridiculously good Roman performance, but Braun also deserves credit for looking like a proper beast. Just a great match between two guys that are the saving grace on a very weak main event scene.

[2017-04-30-WWE-Payback] Braun Strowman vs Roman Reigns
Glad to know I wasn't the only one who got reminded of Umaga/Cena. Roman with a career high performance there. From his entrance to the post match, he was selling like a champ for Braun, and in the process made him look like a killer. His offense also seemed desperate in a good way, as it conveyed the urgence of the match and how fucking broken Reigns was. Really great stuff. Both guys are awesome. **** 3/4

Roman Reigns
Hard to say there's anyone right now that paid as much attention to selling as Roman did yesterday. From the moment he came down to the ring barely moving his bad arm, I knew he was going to provide some great, great stuff.

WWE Payback
I don't think anyone could've elevated Braun as much as Roman did, quite frankly. Put him over clean today, was willing to take probably the biggest beatdown ever on TV, and now Strowman is #3 on RAW, number 2 if we don't count Brock.

HOLY SHIT THEY ARE DOING THE SEQUEL

WWE Payback
This post match is incredible. Roman spitting blood is a fucking amazing visual. Strowman and Reigns have provided nothing but greatness, on PPV and on TV.

If you say so, then I guess I must.

I am actually with you that there is a double standard, but I tend to be more fair. Seth DID show better selling in this match - look at my previous post -, even if I do have my dislikes about those sorts of kicks with the bad limb. There were some matches were Hashimoto got worked for a ridiculous ammount of time and it had absolute zero consequence, it really didn't sit well with me just as much as it didn't here.
-
WWE Payback
Other than the kicks with the bad leg and the Falcon Arrow, Seth's selling was leaps and bounds better than what is usually is.
-
WWE Payback
Why is he doing kicks with his bad leg? Is Seth that much of an awful wrestler that he can't kick with the other leg?
-
WWE Payback
Very much looking forward to Seth's complete disregard for limb selling

WWE Payback
Oh my God they are actually putting Joe/Rollins between both sections of Bray/Orton. This is unbelievable. Roman and Strowman will be wrestling in front of an apathetic crowd.

WWE Payback
I like how Wyatt looks like a chump even in pre-taped, signature matches. What the fuck
-
WWE Payback
Oh lord, there it goes. This, followed by Joe/Rollins, is going to KILL this crowd.

This match is actually being pretty damn great.

Great post-match angle. Felt a bit Revival-esque.
