Drunk people are funny. I can rely to JR, I used to have issues because I was sometimes drunk in college.

Whether you like it or not, figures like Jim Ross and Chris Jericho can help AEW to catch casual fans attention. I know AEW is seen as a cool and modern alternative to WWE but I truly believe the presence of Omega and the Bucks is enough to maintain this idea.

If Jim Ross comments, I may watch from time to time, he's my favorite commentator ever.

Greatest Match Ever Project
I know my opinion is far away from being important so I'm going to tell it once : WM 35 deadline is ok for me. But of course, it's the view of people who are a lot invested in like Grimmas, bossrock, Superstar Sleeze, Cap etc. that matters.

What the fuck ? Don't tell me Kenny Omega and the Bucks are pussies who don't drink.

History of the world doesn't matter at all. It's not because women have been treatened unfairly for ages they deserve special treatment. No gender, ethnic group, religious group etc. should be treatened in a different way because of their history.

Well, I would not either have issue if it was the opposite (a promotion where women wrestle and men expose their muscles during the break).

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4
No offense, but I don't understand people like you. ALL Royal Rumbles matches were already available in the Royal Rumble PPVs, you didn't need to wait for WWE making a collection of them. I find it extremely lazy. 1994/1995 is underrated. Yes, there were loads of shit, but it's the case in every time. 1999 and for my money, modern WWE is way worse than the New Generation era.

Is it really an issue ? Don't get me wrong, I like the fact women's division bring much much better matches than 10 years ago. But I disagree with the point of view that it's an objective evolution. Nowadays, women in WWE are useful because they bring quality in their matches. In the past, divas like Debra, Stacy Keibler and Maria Kanellis were used for having a break between important matches and enabled males viewers to contemplate beautiful women. Was it so bad ? I don't think so. It's just different. I like both perspectives and I would be bothered if a small wrestling company would be publically criticized for doing bikini contests and pillow fights. As far as equal pay goes, I don't care.

You know, EL-P, some people would stop watching wrestling if it was a feminist, liberal and progressive business.

Why would you like Wrestling to become a socialist business ?

[1999-06-11-AJPW-Super Power Series] Mitsuharu Misawa vs Kenta Kobashi
I don't care about those "selling issues". They did what I expected from them : a long 45 minutes match with a lot of headdrops and kick outs, which I know isn't the cup of tea of many members of this board. As far as I'm concerned, it's the second best All Japan match of all time after their january 1997 confrontation. The 97 match was a little bit better because of the amazing selling's display. I think selling adds to the 97 match but I don't think the "lack of selling" of this match hurts it.

Amazing guide Parv ! I like Misawa's green short and Kawada's yellow boots.

Who is more historically important in a positive way?
I don't want to criticize you but being historically important in a positive way is really subjective. For instance, you can't deny Vince McMahon importance in wrestling history. But you can consider his huge influence as positive or negative. Some people would consider it as positive because they like a lot colorful gimmicks. People who love the old NWA territories wouldn't because Vince destroyed them.

Who is a better in ring performer?
Merry Christmas. I vote Kobashi. I prefer Misawa series of match with him to the one with Kawada. I do believe Kobashi's career in the 2000s (untill 2006) smokes Kawada's one. I'm also really astonished at Kobashi selling. I haven't seen enough of Tanahashi 2000s work and AJ Styles TNA work to make my mind up. My vote for Akiyama is a personal one. It would be difficult for me to chose Danielson because he spent most of his career in the us indies and in WWE. But ROH isn't my cup of tea. I much prefer All Japan and NOAH, where Akiyama has excelled for years.

[1990-01-20-AJPW-New Year Giant Series] Genichiro Tenryu & Toshiaki Kawada vs Jumbo Tsuruta & Isao Takagi
In the beginning of the match, Takagi charges at Tenryu, which is cool and surprising. Tenryu shows his hatred for Jumbo all along the match, that is enjoyable. Watching the Jumbo/Tenryu feud during those tag matches is fun. Kawada sells well Jumbo's offense. Unfortunately, there are lots of bland moments during the match, i can't call it good.

Merry Christmas. Is it your gift ? I've noticed Loss hasn't been visting the board for at least 17 days. Is it usual the administrator and owner of the website ghosting ? It's not a reproach by any means.

[1990-01-06-WWF-Superstars] Rick Martel and Brutus Beefcake
Wrestling's stupidity in all its splendour. Poor Martel. He's such a great worker and he's led to clown around with Beefcake. I agree Jesse is an awesome commentator.

[1989-03-16-NJPW] Riki Choshu & Masa Saito vs Super Strong Machine & George Takano
SSM and Takano are the underdogs. Choshu and Saito are clearly the dominant team. They play the viliains and use dirty tactics all along. Takano really gets his ass kicked and finishes by wearing crimson mask. Finally, he's able to make the hot tag. The underdogs win by count out but it feels like a big win anyway. And the win the titles ! It's an upset. I've appreciated Choshu and Saito losing with dignity and congragulating their opponents. Choshu even puts the belt around one of them's waist ! I agree it was an outstanding bout between the strong heel team and the underdog babyface one. You gave a huge rating to the match, I'm really glad I'm not the only one to have appreciated it.
