  1. I didn't find matches repetitive as few counters & transitions were copied throughout series - not like flair steamboat where whole sequences are repeated in the same match not just series. There were interesting wrinkles too - for example in first match Booker counted cross face by rolling forward & hitting side kick. In match 3 Booker tried to do this but Benoit caught him before kick with German for pin. German in turn was used as a false finish going forward including a triple in final stretch of match 7. This was turned up a notch at bash with the dragon pin. None of finishes were repeated despite same finishers being used they came about different ways. Benoit having the break dance spin scouted was a theme with various counters & ultimately superplex at bash.

Aew has lots of talent on the books that don't get any showtime - that stops company building characters & storylines. MJF hasn't wrestled a match in sometime I think. Ring time would establish his role stronger - he could back up his promos.
  3. Yep - was hooky like something from old TNA & with people not ready for national TV. Buried two women who seemed to have gotten over & then followed by dark order which is pretty much same angle.
  4. Nightmare segment maybe worst thing aew has ever done
  5. Episode was kinda all over the place but in a good way - very entertaining. Progressing storylines throughout. Finally a decent women's match as well.
  6. Crowd really wouldn't get behind either of them.

Nwa show is sad - just an attempt to recreate the past. World has moved on
  8. Same formula WWF used to beat WCW
  9. We now have another company drawing about million tv viewers each week. How often has that happen in past two decades?
  10. Entertaining episode with more talk & storylines across the card. Should've been like this earlier.
  11. Ratings generally don't go up for any TV show - they peak at premiere & go down from there.
  12. Both these women make fake matches look extra fake. All of Trish's offense needs cooperation from opponent. Charlotte sells every move before being hit. So overrated.

Not the biggest sport in NSW & QLD which have over 50% of the countries population
  14. Worst match on worst card of year - complete train wreck. Slow, basic & illogical which five foot bliss, who is neither a technical whiz nor explosive, easily dominating an opponent more than twice her size. When Bliss did get the chance to bump for Jax, she did so by twice performing a forward roll across the ring & landing safely on her feet. Jax's "bumps" involved awkwardly getting in position & simply letting herself fall. Both these two are too green to work together or a match this length.
