WWE TV 06/29 - 07/05 Florida is pretty much where the Doom guy goes to in his games
Every single bit of that is true. I have been watching pro wrestling since I was 5 in 1991. Right now in wrestling, every single time I see certain wrestlers, I see and feel the same way about them. I hold the same opinion on Drew Gulak & Roman Reigns. Seth Rollins is an elite worker, but he lacks the charisma to be the face of a wrestling company as well. The ratings are the way I view the match, from storytelling, psychology, all the way to the very end. Also, I never had a bad thing to say about John Cena, I thought he was great. Had the charisma, cut the promos, great storyteller in the ring (Top 100 Worker guy). They messed up the Doctor of Thuganomics character however, and that somewhat took away from his legacy.

Roman being the "Face" of anything is enough of a joke to me as it is. Has the charisma of a tree stump, boring, attention span killing wrestler, unreliable, has the presence of being a bodyguard, not the face of a wrestling company. It goes on & on with him.

I really liked Matt Riddle vs. John Morrison. I gave that one ***3/4. Looks like Riddle is already emerging as a top flight TV worker, and that makes me happy as I watched him on the Indies (such as EVOLVE) and not much has changed since. With Bryan turning 40 next year, he may be trying to transition to another phase, and a guy like Riddle (has charisma, can control an entire crowd with one word, and is an elite level worker) can take his spot. I also liked AJ Styles vs. Drew Gulak. ***1/2 for that one. The legendary AJ Styles does it yet again, as the consistency continues, and he once again showed his top notch ring generalship, and he really had too, because to be honest, for me... Drew Gulak is boring. He was boring on the Indies, and he is still boring in the WWE. Many times he would lose my attention span while watching his matches. His best matches were against the likes of AJ, Bryan, ZSJ, Chris Hero, & Cesaro, but that is because of who his opponents were in those matches (they are all also in my Top 100 Workers as well). I also remember him having great matches with Riddle in the Indies, and I think Mustafa Ali on 205 Live, who is another great worker.

AEW Fyter Fest 2020 - Night one
Well worked match. **** for that one. FTR are the ones to beat Kenny & Hangman, on PPV of course.

AEW Fyter Fest 2020 - Night one
Kenny is the man. No matter if it's Singles or Tags. Midcard or Main Event, no matter the opponent(s). 2020 Tag Team of the Year, BTW. Those 6 Stars were well deserved.

AEW Fyter Fest 2020 - Night one

Samoa Joe would be awesome in the Tazz role as well. Very similar to each other.

AEW Fyter Fest 2020 - Night one
Good little spot fest. Not as strong as the other matches on the show. *** for that one.

AEW Fyter Fest 2020 - Night one
Jake Hager's best match. ***1/2 for that one.

AEW Fyter Fest 2020 - Night one
There is a part of me that just wants to say, "NXT sucks now". Other than Gargano, I'm just not feeling it anymore. I miss Pete Dunne as well.

AEW Fyter Fest 2020 - Night one
No way I can call Seth a loser. He is way too accomplished, but he is not a "Face of the company" guy.

AEW Fyter Fest 2020 - Night one
"Waffle House menu" Let's see if Cody can carry this dude to a great match with superb storytelling. "Rock hard", does not sound right.... Hell yeah, the legendary Terry Funk!!!

AEW Fyter Fest 2020 - Night one
Kip is Seth??? . One is a total loser, and the other has been a winner from day one. But I guess I kind of get it.

AEW Fyter Fest 2020 - Night one
**** for me. Hikaru Shida is an awesome champion. Penelope Ford has a bright future, and she needs to drop Kip The Drip.

AEW Fyter Fest 2020 - Night one
Kip "The Loser" Sabian strikes again!!

AEW Fyter Fest 2020 - Night one
The tone of the show was set strong by that match. ***3/4 for that one. A more epic ending would have been 4 Star for me. Time for Jurassic Express to hit the Tag Team ranks. MJF and Wardlow will split soon after hearing, "Can you do anything right!?". MJF looked like a star wearing pink, BTW.

AEW Fyter Fest 2020 - Night one
One thing I have realized about AEW.. They are reliable, and I have 100% faith that they will deliver. It's the "other company" that I have no faith in. I barely have that much interest in NXT anymore unless it's a Johnny Gargano match.

[2020-06-28-Journey Pro/SLA-#60MinutesandChange] Jeremy Wyatt vs Fred Yehi
Pro wrestling just the way I like it. Rugged, intense, & straightforward with no shenanigans at all. Just when I was ready to give up hope on Independent Wrestling (especially after how David Starr went out), and thought that the spirit of Indie Wrestling was dead, I then see this match, and it reinvigorated some hope for me. This match was a true throwback to what Indie Wrestling was when I first became a fan of it around 2004. Then 15 minutes into it, Wyatt attacks Yehi with a chair, and I was like "Dammit... shenanigans". It's been a while since I've seen a Fred Yehi match as I remember enjoying his EVOLVE matches. Great mat wrestling, and limb work on each other's knees, hard hitting strikes, & devastating high impact moves. Yehi was in the lead at 2-0, and 40 minutes into the match he is now behind at 2-3. Wyatt does an excellent job dissecting Yehi's limbs, and paces the match in his favor to take command of the match. Yehi is really good in the fiesty underdog role. Right before Yehi tied up the score at 3-3, he got cut open around his left eye during a back & forth elbow strike exchange. Yehi's "second wind" burst of energy moment was awesome as they come under the 10 minute mark. Amazing drama building down the closing stretch. So much fun watching this match. This is what Indie Wrestling was built on. Love the job the commentators did on this match, they focused on what was going on in the ring, plugged in charities, and made NO MENTION of Mainstream Wrestling at all which made it even MORE fun. Yehi scored the winning pinfall with around 15 seconds left and won the match at 4-3. This match was incredible, and the 60 minutes flew by like it was nothing. Special thank you to PWO brother, SmartMark15 for this match recommendation. A legit 2020 Match of the Year Candidate. *****

[2020-06-24-AEW-Dynamite] FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) vs SCU (Christopher Daniels & Kazarian)
Outstanding team work, pacing, and instant great chemistry between 2 teams that have never wrestled each other before. SCU remain a great team from their TNA days, while FTR are the best modern day old school tag team in the world outside of reDRagon/Undisputed ERA. Also, a really cool moment when Dax Harwood hit the Slingshot Vertical Suplex, then threw up the four fingers. I'm sure Tully Blanchard was smiling from ear to ear. ****

Is Impact* the best wrestling promotion in history? *(Now TNA again, 2024)
Michael Elgin fits right in with AJPW, BJW & NOAH. It will be fun watching him mix it up with those guys. He should just stay with Puroresu for the rest of his career, and given all the stories out there about him, he may not even have a choice anyway.

Is Impact* the best wrestling promotion in history? *(Now TNA again, 2024)
I am AMAZED that TNA/IMPACT is still around, alive, & breathing... and yet 2020 continues to be bizarre both in pro wrestling & the real world.
