I didn't like the 6 man, but save MJF, I'm not really inclined to like any of the people involved. Spots for the sake of spots. Guys being cringy. And I will never see whatever there is to see in Darby Allin. His offense looks just fucking awful and the bumps don't feel special because it's all he does.

Mox came off like a huge star at the end of the show. Kenny... played with instruments. Corny motherfucker.

Honestly, I kind of hated the match, but that's an island I appear to be alone with. I didn't get any kind of underdog vibe from Allin, and a lot of it might be the presentation. The daisy dukes over yoga pants gear and the juggalo facepaint. The bumps were outrageous and one had no real impact when he was doing another entirely stupid one 2 minutes later.

Considering the free nature of the show is probably bringing out a lot of newer people who are less familiar with the talent, WHY IS IT ON THE SHOW AT ALL? Let them do an awful comedy bit and put it on BTE or something, but don't put it in a featured spot on your pre-show. They haven't even given us a reason why it's taking place on the broadcast.

Imagine if this awful pre-show was selling a show you had to pay for.

Yeah, that match felt 40 minutes long and in a very bad way, but it had lots of moves and it's going to be given like 4 and a half in the WON.

And Ciampa, who doesn't usually do the cosplay gear, did Wolverine.

It really is striking just how well Tessa carries herself on screen. The street fight with Taya isn't the best match in the world (kind of your standard issue plunder-fest), but she gets just so much of it SO fucking right. Kind of a shame that she's doing this on a show that has less than zero traction.

To me, it feels too much like a karaoke act, and it's like someone trying to do Queen's "Somebody to Love" and doing a good job, but they're still not hitting the high notes. It also feels to an extent, like they're forcing a round peg in a square hole, especially with the shoehorning of "The Family" into the angle.

Yeah, that's a DOA program to be sure, but I did love all of the old-school ref spots in that tag match.

I have not had a chance to watch the show yet since I worked last night, but while everything sounds like it was pretty solid, the only buzz-worthy news at all was the Twitch news and Rosemary coming back. Feels like the company could have desperately used something to really spike interest and it just wasn't there.

I liked Jericho/Naito just fine, even if I think it would have been a great match with five minutes chopped off the middle as opposed to simply a very good one, but that was easily the MOTN for me. I didn't like Omega/Tanahashi much at all. Between Omega's goofy faces, his knee selling that he'd randomly forget about for 15 minutes and then it would just be killing him again, a very mastubatory opening 10-15 minutes that added absolutely nothing to the overall story... it very much felt like just kind of a mess. White/Okada was a fine grapple, but felt very flaccid given the story they've been telling there. This needed a lot more hate. The ZSJ superplex spot where he popped up, did this intricate arm attack, and then went back to selling his neck was a goofy as fuck spot.

This is one of the dumbest examples of gatekeeping I've ever seen.

Shawn was very much that guy when he came back. The shit fit over Hogan, the fact that for several years, the only person he put over at all was Hunter. Did he get a little better as his career winded down? Sure. But it's not like he was even putting people over like Cena's trying to.

It's kind of funny, I missed the table bump in the main event because I looked away to see if Braun and Roman were doing anything, and the Rollins/Ziggler segment was taking forfuckingever to set up. The second I glance over to the ring and see they hadn't, I hear the table bump. The red cell wasn't bad for visibility, but from where I was sitting, I was in the nosebleeds and was sitting behind the big basketball scoreboard, so I could not see the screen for some of the details, like the screwdriver. The show was fine, but it was SUCH a chicken shit ending. If you can't put the two guys in the main event in a position to take a loss, don't book the match. And if you do book the match, don't book it in a match type that basically demands a finish. This should be Booking 101.

Definitely smart padding the table like that. Lets you do the crazy spot but makes it a little safer. And chances are Owens will be wrestling tomorrow night, completely negating the effect of this tonight.

Let Hogan be in the Hall of Fame, in video games, playlists on the network, etc... but keep him off my TV screen.

Yeah, Stevens has been great. There's a lot of really strong acting on the show and her episode was a standout... but the best episode of the second season was the "Episode" of the show.
