Really hope they're privately testing everyone at every show, every single time they put together a show, or none of this should be happening at all. The close proximity of workers, staff etc is absurd. This was a decent show but I'm really struggling to see the sense in carrying on at the moment. Maybe this is self-isolation talking, who knows. Its difficult for AEW i guess, but with WWE's back catalogue i think they should really be thinking of producing a very different sort of show at the moment. Sorry to derail, im going off on a tangent here.

That Darby suicide dive headbutt thing was so strange. One of the least believable offensive moves I've ever saw I think. Took me out of the match unfortunately. Anyway it was a pretty good card otherwise. Thought the main was great and although I'd rather have saw Jericho retain I think the reaction to the Moxley win certainly justified it. Orange cassidy rapidly becoming star of the show for me is pretty unexpected.

The Fiend is just an awful character. They should just reboot him again as IRS Jr I am quite looking forward to Brock Goldberg for some reason though

Yeah Beth Phoenix is just as bad as Mauro for it, if not worse. I haven't been watching the TV much so maybe it's just time away from it, but yeah the card was stressful to listen to sometimes.

is there a decent list of Kensuke Sasaki ("Sasaki-San") matches from WWC? Watched a few on youtube today and didn't even know he'd been there. Cagematch records for Puerto Rico are awful.

What i am really beginning to dislike about nxt after watching nxt-uk a lot lately is the constant state of near frenzy in the commentating. I noticed a lot on this card- as soon as most of the matches went up even the slightest gear everything is a state of near mania. Sometimes you can just have a conversation. It needs to be a lot more casual. Keith Lee & Riddle the clear stars of the show I think. Riddle could really do something

Dont really post here much (or anywhere, in fact), so apologies if i missed a topic. but this has been playing on my mind for a while really. Why did AEW join in with the idea that that wrestling TV shows need to be 2 hours+ with potential to overrun? WWE shows are horrendous, the idea of watching a 3 hour Raw is horrific. Two hours of smackdown- especially in its current slump- is a chore. AEW is quite novel to me because its new but its difficult for me to imagine watching this for 2 hours every week for the next year unless something drastically changes. By contrast NWA Power feels like a breeze frankly. I dont know if its on TV or not but 45-50 minutes on youtube? Delightful. My favourite territory is Georgia, an hour. All the best WWF syndicated shows were an hour, imo. I just wonder if you can reconcile the lack of mainstream interest/attention with just how long everything lasts now. I know peak Raw & Nitro were 2 hours and that was the biggest it was etc, but its a different era now. Too many things vying for your attention. There are very few shows i could dedicate 2+ hours to a week. In theory WWE is at least 5!

Its strange watching this and knowing the ratings breakdown from earlier in the thread. I had that luchasaurus match on- not bad- and you find yourself trying to figure out where it was that people thought "fuck this" ha Not a great show by any means- i dont think i can do 2 hour shows anymore to be honest- but Moxley as ace makes more sense than most

If they have to use JR as part of the TV deal as was rumoured, maybe switching him to hosting & interviews could be the way forward. A Mean Gene style role. I can't handle much more of his commentary it is actively turning me off the product. I knew it would be a problem.

Haven't (& probably won't) watched all of the card but Keith Lee is a clear star, they should push him to the moon. I wonder how long it will be before terrible booking ruins his momentum. & +1 for the Riddle v Gable hype.

I think if they used the old Prime Time Wrestling talking head panel idea for Backstage it wouldn't be a bad idea, if they all want to moan at eachother. Use the Mr Perfect accepts the tag team match return angle for the inevitable CM Punk comeback

JR might be the worst commentator on TV. Can MJF work? His promos and overall vibe are really good
