Really enjoyed this edition! Champagne Morrow continues to be a favorite of mine in your territory. And now he plants seeds for the big gold. Nice. BIG announcement on the Road Warriors vs. Grapplers match! I'll bet money there will be some moving parts, evidenced by the Lone Stars busting on the scene as the big match is announced. Looking forward to the Empty Arena match! Liking the idea of Lawler cutting promos from the front of his house. Makes for a good TV visual that these feuds are personal and parts of these guys' lives. Bring it on! Good stuff!

The big show delivers! King out-duels Double-cross Ranch! And based on the close, this feud must continue. Love the Pork Chop/Morrow match. The deal with the glass makes it particularly enjoyable seeing Morrow get some comeuppance when he gets cracked from behind. Dream Machine goes over on Slater. Not sure I saw it coming, but that's what kept me so engaged. Great job on this. Show was worth the hype. Looking forward to the fallout!

Ring the bell, we got a live one here. Odd observation -- really liked the use of video packages to showcase important acts on the roster or key events that happened lately -- even though those folks weren't appearing on the show this week. Very good way to keep key folks top of mind for fans, while other important acts appear on the show this week to hold everyone's attention. Dug the Piper-Percy segment. Curious to see who the mystery acquisition is. Great debut! Can't wait to see where you steer this.

Myers & Flowers mental warfare was a hoot to watch unfold. Lawler & Funk is a program I'm eager to see that payoff for. MONEY! Texas loop with color & 50-minute mains? Flair is somewhere, blushing! Love it. Nice touch with 10 more minutes to send the place home happy. Great loops!

The WWF adds The Mongol. Didn't realize he and Cousin Luke of the Hillbillies were the same individual.

Had a very easy time imagining myself in the crowd for these shows! Slater and Dream Machine felt like a knockdown/drag-out affair, and the chaos that ensues from the Funk-Colon match felt like just the kind of melee that would send a crowd home happy. Feels like a hot product right now! Looking forward to seeing where the ride goes next!

WWF drops Bob Bradley, Brady Boone, and Pete Dougherty to make room for draftees Al Snow, Dan Severn, and Virgil. Also Rip Morgan and Kevin Kelley are still showing on the WWF roster. They were traded to USWA for Big John Studd and Paul Orndorff on July 12th/13th. Just a heads-up.

Very good drama to the show! Nice touches pointing out nuances in the crowd reaction - particularly in Brenda's ring intro's, for example. For a second there, I thought Cooley just might overcome, but it wasn't to be. The King defends the mountain and stays at the top of it. Good stuff here. Genuinely enjoyed the flow of the show!

As a screenwriter at heart, I dig the writing style with this promotion. Really enjoying the situation with Steamboat and Gilbert, as well as the goings-on with Spivey. Looking forward to diving in deeper as I get my feet set around here. Just wanted to share some early impressions.
