  1. Previously Recorded in Atlanta GA @ Center Stage. With your host "The Dean of professional wrestling" Gordon Solie (The opening video plays before filtering to a sweeping shot of the capacity crowd. We then cut to Solie in the booth. He puts over his history of calling action in Atlanta & how pleased he is to be back for the debut of NWA Worldwide. He hypes the announcement from NWA president Jim Crockett Jr regarding the next big mega event before sending us to the ring for the opening contest) "Lone Star" Brian Adias defeats Tomi Bentley with the Oriental Spike. Big Daddy Ritter w/Slick defeats Rocky King with the Powerslam. (VTR -We see NWA president Jim Crockett Jr sitting in a finely decorated office. He first says that he's beyond proud of how "St Valentines Day Massacre" turned out & was particularly pleased at the reviews from experts & fans alike. He & the Board of Directors agreed that it was imperative to maintain the NWA'S momentum, as such it is with great pride that he announces the return of the Jim Crockett Sr Memorial Cup Tag Team Tournament! The event shall take place over two nights on April 9th & 10th. There will be a total of 16 teams involved. The entire first round will be broadcast on the Superstation where the remaining matches on night 2 shall be airing on PAY PER VIEW! To ensure the event is as big as possible, the NWA is in negotiation with other companies to send their top teams for the chance to win the cup & ONE MILLION DOLLARS! Bidding is underway by cities to host either one or both nights. Results will be announced when available. Crockett says that the NWA is determined to end 1987 as the unquestioned leader of professional wrestling & this event will be a centerpiece in making that happen) "Wild" Bill Irwin defeats "Tough" Tony Falk with a bicycle kick. Radiance (Doug Somers & Jimmy Del Ray) defeat The Ranger Brothers (Chip & Dale) with a double flapjack on Dale. Main event "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan defeats Butch Moffat will a football tackle. After the match two men made their way into the ring. Solie identified one as the Angel of Death but had no idea for the second, a man in a black mask & hooded robe. Duggan eyed them wearily as they enter & we get a brief staredown before they collect Moffat & drag him to the back. The first episode of NWA Worldwide ends on an ominous note as Solie speculates what was just witnessed.
  2. Authors note: A trimmed down edition of Power Hour to ensure it gets done . (The NWA opening video slams on screen with quick clips of the top stars set to "Rock Warrior" by The Rods. We close on a shot of NWA World Heavyweight Champion Tully Blanchard before cutting to Caudle & Schiavone at ringside) (Caudle & Schiavone welcome the fans to this week's episode before recapping the events of "St Valentines Day Massacre". They put over the NEW NWA World Television Champion Mark Fleming, the absolutely brutal Dog Collar Match for the United States Title & especially hype the NEW NWA World Six Man Tag Team Champions Adrian Street, Bill Dundee & Giant Haystacks. The later of whom will be in this week's opening contest!) Match #1 Giant Haystacks defeats Los Caballeros (Paco, Chico & Pepe) by stacking them on top of each other & hitting a running elbowdrop on the pile. The announcers & the live crowd are in awe as Haystacks stands over the 3 corpses, raises his fists to the heavens & roars. Commercial-Bob Caudle runs down the NWA house shows for the coming week. Match #2 The S&S Express (Joe Savoldi & Shaun Simpson) defeat Rock n Roll Phantoms (1&2) with the "Express Lane" to Phantom#2 (Between matches Caudle & Schiavone remind fans that tomorrow is the premier episode of NWA Worldwide hosted by Gordon Solie! They also reveal that NWA President Jim Crockett Jr will be there to announce the next major event for the NWA!) Match #3 "Adorable" Adrian Adonis defeats Robbie "rough & ready" Robinson with "Goodnight Irene" Commercial (VTR- We see The Red Tide standing in front of the Soviet flag. Ivan complains about the "typically corrupt American officiating" that denied them the Six Man Titles. Says this has only delayed the inevitable however & vows the before years end they will ALL be champions!) Match #4 "The Polynesian Prince" Siva Afi defeats Punisher with a jumping headbutt. Commercial Main event The Outlaws (Ron Bass & Black Bart) defeat The War Party (Billy Two Eagles & Joe Lightfoot) when Bass pinned Two Eagles with the "Texas Trash Compacter"
  3. Nice little touch with the dark match before the cameras roll. While i doubt anyone is surprised to see The Glamour Boys win, i gotta admit The Top Dollar Phils made a good showing in their first outing. The Bombers' superior teamwork brings victory home in a wild six man. Quite the fakeout by Royal & his new associate Coolley. Larry Z & Perez retain but what's on the fans minds is, what is up with the teamsters? Canek wins a contrast of national styles to become the first AWA International champion! Tommy's shirts are the best running gag in this game. A brutal 8 man cage match seems to mark the end of the Syndicate as Kirby leaves his men laying. WrestleRock 87! Hell yeah baby! Cabin Fever squash the RPM's & Southern like the annoying little gnats they are. Gold Standard put up a good fight but the Japanese duo retain the tag straps. i had a serious smile on my face reading how Vin Man starting crying. Colon remains undefeated in Caribbean Death Matches despite a game effort from the Superfly. This gives him a strong claim on another title match. Team Jarrett wins putting Verne on the outside looking in on his own company! I can just hear the crowd going crazy during that final sequence. Tommy Rich retains the World title thanks to...Rip Morgan? Interesting. the matches between he & Sawyer are gonna be nuts.
  4. NWA places Steve Wright on the block.
  5. Hey guys. Sorry I haven't posted since Monday but I've been dealing with some personal stuff and it's kinda drained my creativity for the moment. My hope is after a bit of me time I'll be able to start posting again in the next few days. Just wanted to let y'all know. Later!
  6. The Crazy Gang's veterans defeat The Army's newest recruits in the opener. The Rainbow Warriors get a boost with a victory over Los Guerreros. The Venomous one scores another Victory over Cactus. Black Tiger puts down the young wildman of the Crazy Gang. St Clair leads the British Invasion to a win over Gary Hart International. Owen retains his title over Hector in a main event that I'm sure had the crowd buzzing.
  7. 15 minutes of Black Gold vs The Bomb Squad sounds like a hell of a way to start the night. The Odd Couple & The MXE go 50/50 in their singles matches. RPG is gonna have something to say after that loss to the Hart Foundation. Big Grizz once again proves his usefulness to The Playboy Club. Garvin wins a bruising battle over "Easy Ed" Big Bubba gets frustrated & takes the easy way out in his defense against Pillman. The big 747 proves the difference maker yet again in the main event. Buying his contract from Pringle may just be the smartest thing Gary Hart has ever done.
  8. Sabu vs Cactus Jack, I could see this as a main event a few years down the road. Perhaps at a show in Philly? Dingo & Hart's growing beef continues to simmer. I knew you were building to something with the emphasis on submission victories but a i wasn't expecting the Submission Title! Eaton taps to "The Beast" on the road to Aloha Spectacular. St Clair defeats Chavo Classic & maybe earns himself a title match in the near future. TNT gets a win over one of The Brigade's juniour members sending a strong message to the champ. We close the show with the return of Ron Simmons! the Brigade's chances just got a lot better. I love that you don't just have faction A feud with faction B. Some members of faction A can feud with faction B while others feud with members of faction C. Really adds variety to the show.
  9. Always nice to see a face who isn't entirely dense. Though Dallas & LeRoux make their opponents pay for it. Richter wins the iron(wo)man match & is immediately demanding a shot at yet another title!
  10. From the Von Braun Civic Center in Huntsville Alabama... Airing live on WTBS channel 17, The National Wrestling Alliance proudly presents... NWA World Six Mat Tag Title Tournament first round. TITLE CHANGE!!! NWA World Six Man Tag Title Tournament Semifinals "Superstar" Bill Dundee, Giant Haystacks & "Exotic" Adrian Street w/Ms Linda defeat "Chief" Wahoo McDaniel & The War Party when Dundee pinned Two Eagles with "Bombs Away" "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan & The Road Warriors defeat The Red Tide. The end came when Ivan sent Duggan into the ropes hoping to catch him with the "Russian Sickle" on the rebound. However Duggan ducked under and came back with a football tackle for the win. NWA United States Title Dog Collar Match "Macho Man" Randy Savage(c) w/Ms Elizabeth defeats "Maniac" Matt Borne in a brutal & bloody affair. At one point Savage attempted his patented elbow from the top rope only for it to become clear that the chain connecting him & Borne prevented him from getting into position! Savage had to get creative, finishing his relentless challenger with a running elbowdrop with the chain wrapped around his elbow! NWA World Six Man Tag Team Title Tournament Final "Superstar" Bill Dundee, Giant Haystacks & "Exotic" Adrian Street w/Ms Linda defeat "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan & The Road Warriors w/"Precious" Paul Ellering when Ms Linda passed Street a roll of coins which he KO'd Duggan with for the tainted win. Winners and NEW NWA World Six Man Tag Team Champions: Bill Dundee, Giant Haystacks & Adrian Street!
  11. Snow proves a stiff challenge but Garvin is ready with a k.o punch. Finlay is seriously turning over a new leaf lately. St Clair gets past Hart's gatekeeper. Backlund taps out a game Brookside. Badd Company retains against the Army. The MXE get desperate against the Odd Couple. Candido is unsuccessful in his quest to become a double champion.

Team Gagne is looking on point ahead of the battle for control of AWA. Iaukea & Colon with a absolutely chilling promo. But Snuka refuses to be intimidated. Southern & the RPM's are feeling pretty sure of themselves. Canek is in fighting shape & ready to become the inaugural AWA International Champion. That may have been the best Beauty Shop yet! Jumbo & Fujinami with the perfect response to the Vin Man yeah! A wild brawl previews the upcoming six man. Team Jarrett responds to Team Gagne's earlier display with gusto.
  13. Wins over these masked jobbers are a good way to build up the rookie Steiner. The Dudes get the w but pissed off Moondogs aren't good for anybody. Adams establishes himself with a win over Hase. Idol, Landel & Garvin may be the most obnoxious heel trio ever! Nice touch with the tag title match getting cut short due to a botch. Akbar has quite the intimidating trio. Tama Tonga lol. The Rockers are building a case for a tag title shot. Race isn't taking that attack earlier in the night lying down & issues a challenge for a huge six man in Naperville where his team wins and he gets another shot at Idol!
  14. Pillman wins the airbattle against Sabu. Black Gold & The Bomb Squad give the fans tag treat. Victory has too much Venom for Cactus. OMG buries the Brigade's luchador under an Avalanche. Henning vs Orton is the kinda match I can see any territory booking. The two just seem like a natural pairing to me. The Sheepherders get one in their war with TDT. Rose spends most of the match on the apron & still manages to cost his team the win. Windham & TNT give the fans a taste of what's coming in Honolulu. Wild night in the Cow Palace!

No Time Limit "British Magician" Steve Wright(c) vs "The Natural" Mark Fleming NWA United States Title Dog Collar Match "Macho Man" Randy Savage(c) w/Ms Elizabeth vs "Maniac" Matt Borne
  16. If Cactus wasn't a sure in for the Army before, Miller guarantees it. Speaking of the Army, they win the rematch with Los Guerreros. But the real story is Barr & Eddie being ready to tear each other apart. Hart gives Dingo Warrior another chance to join & receives a far clearer refusal. Here's hoping Dingo knows what he's getting into. Ouellet tries to bag a Grizzly but gets crushed for his efforts. The Odd Couple defeat The Playboy Clubs bruisers. It was just a matter of time before Finley's sportsmanship got on his teammates nerves. RPG is back in the game! And he's found some serious muscle in the Iron Bulls. The Knights Templar have breathed new life into Gary Young. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see him capture the California title at this point.
  17. I feel very sorry for Heidi Lee Morgan. Singh & Bennett could be seriously dominant heel champs. Luna's found someone to blame for all her woes & is determined to make Medusa pay. And in the main event its the birth of Wendi Four Belts! At this rate, she'll end up WWW's ONLY Champion!

Plus we've received word surrounding the announcement of another title match set for the big event. All that & more on tonights addition of the NWA Power Hour, let's go to the ring for our opening contest. The captain of team Jarrett brings nets a win on the architect of team Gagne. Fuller's loaded towel strikes again!
  24. British Steel couldn't stop the Bomb from going off! Cactus Jack vs Maxx Payne sounds like the title of an edgey 90s comic. The Hart Foundation may have won but I'm sure they'll be feeling this match tomorrow. The Knights Templar go 2-0 against the Army. TNT may be getting the better of Windham in these fights but it won't matter if he gets disqualified (again) in Honolulu. Owen vs Sabu must've been a barnburner of a main event. Two stacked nights await us at Aloha Spectacular.
  25. I think we can all agree, we can't blame Sawyer for being distracted by Baby Doll. The Bullet with a successful in-ring debut before putting Fuller on notice. Rezzy kinda walked into that one. Gold Standard looking good. Yatsu shows how far he's willing to go to become the inaugural AWA International champion. Bruise Brothers looking sharp.
