Kind of strange reading Red apologize knowing who he'd become but I believe him. I'm all for a rubber match between Kazaharu & Regal. The Tribe is ready for war with The Cartel. The Glamor Boys vs The Highwaymen in a cage where the losing team disband forever? I don't see any other way to end this. Looking forward to seeing what Keirn can do on his own. Backlund is trying to be the professional but his issues are getting the better of him. Not a good way to be going against Hercules.

AWA Major League Wrestling
Carlos Colon joining up with Curtis Iaukea? Did NOT see that coming. Rock n Roll is in for a hell of a fight trying to take the titles off Jumbo & Fujinami. Well you gotta admit, Gagne did tell us so. Superfly is on the hunt for gold. Have to hand it to Kirby, he's got quite the crew assembled in a short amount of time. The Bombers could be big here. Beauty Shop returns with the new National Tag Champs. They might not have them for long with Cabin Fever coming after them. Gamma could be a tricky obstacle for Snuka. Bockwinkel vs Henning is quite the clash of personalities. Diamond Aces sounds like a name Vin Man would come up with. The Olympians & The Union are heading for a violent blowoff. Wildfire leaves the King laying in what will be one of the AWA's most memorable endings. I'm not sure the AWA is ready for Tommy Rich.

McIntyre & Medusa get back-to-back victories. They're seriously riding high. Richter is the focal point of the main event making a opening for her partners to sneak up on Combs leading to new Trios champions. Wonder how long Richter & The Nasty Girls can play nice.

Goliath may have knocked Bugsy even loopy-er then he already was. The Sawyers are back & they're going Rich hunting. Bruno & Grappler working together? It could work. Bass just took his ball and went to Charl...home he went home. The Taylor relationship pays off for Furnas. Now what does Taylor expect in return. Adonis gets his wish as The Bullet can't use the Sleeper or he'll get dq'd. I don't know what the fans loved more, Dutch getting a whippin' or Slick getting the Thump. And Robert was worried, I think he & Allen will get along great.

*Breaking news! New NWA World Jr Heavyweight Champion crowned in Japan!* At a event held by the NWA's Japanese partner All Japan Pro Wrestling in Misawa, Kuniaki Kobayashi defeated Eric Embry to become the new NWA World Jr Heavyweight Champion. This match was part of a world tour that was scheduled in advance of Starrcade. The decision was made to honor the commitments made despite the restructuring currently underway. The NWA congratulates Kobayashi-San on his victory. We are certain he will carry the title proudly.

Good thing the South Pacific Islanders were there to prevent Lightfoot from experiencing some painful dejavuh. Tatum with yet another reason to preen. Chick Magnet & Big Ripper earn yet another shot at the tag straps. Regal remembers shit! I never liked that "touch the corners to win" thing. It's not over till The Glamor Boys win! Looks like Backlund kept it together long enough to earn himself a title shot. Batshit insanity leads to Red breaking out the Heart Punch! Red's reaction intrigues me. And just like that, Duggan is gone! Hercules didn't strike me as a main eventer but you've set him up great.

Atlas starts his rebound post Iron & Steel. Glad Simmons roll is continuing but I'm also kinda nervous about what Pringle & Miller are cooking up. OMG with another dominant performance perhaps getting himself a new manager. Gilbert & Hyatt leave PCW on a high note after another win over Orton. Bubba puts down a gutsy Rotunda. British Steel net their first successful defense. Windham retains in a rematch.

Thatcher returns fire at Watts before announcing "Christmas Clash" in...Georgia? OK I see how it is. Adonis stakes his claim to the Sleeper and backs it up by putting Bullet to sleep. Bruno's boys have a big night ahead of them in Biloxi. Interesting to see Taylor take a shine to Furnas. A bit of friction in Slick's Stable but the Slickster always has a plan & he knows just who to call. Also i see Robert still isn't quite comfortable with the way of things. Olympia & JYD are all business! The card in Biloxi is stacked to the rafters. So happy to see Budro & RPG make up. So Slick has "bad news" for Cooley huh? The Exotic Garden may have just been canceled courtesy of the Starr Corporation. Nice tv win for Scorpio. Can't say I blame Dundee for wanting to wack Dutch with the bullrope OR Taylor getting upset about having to take a dq loss.

The following statement was released by Jim Crockett Promotions. Following the financial and critical success of Halloween Havoc we at Mid-Atlantic were excited to work with our fellow promoters in the NWA to present Starrcade. However problems immediately became apparent in the planning stages. More specifically it became clear that while Mr Watts had scheduled Starrcade to take place less then a full month after Halloween Havoc no effort had been put into planning Starrcade until Halloween Havoc had concluded. This was compounded by Mr Watts's increasingly unilateral decision making process, relegating the Board of Directors to a purely advisory status and on occasion ignoring it's advise entirely in clear defiance of NWA guidelines. Mr Thatcher himself hindered matters by constantly hijacking what were scheduled to be meetings on booking decisions instead insisting on issuing complaints that CCW was somehow being shortchanged financially despite the fact that each of the three territories received an equal portion of the profits from Halloween Havoc. Regarding the conclusion of the NWA World Heavyweight Championship match. No rational person could deny that Butch Reed was cheated out of his title not that there was clear collusion between the Four Horsemen and referee Carl Fergie. However, there exists clear evidence of Mr Fergie's corruption from the moment he ceased to be an active wrestler and obtained his referee license through a program started by Mr Watts. Indeed earlier in the same night, Mr Fergie showed blatant bias in his refereeing of the Mid-South Tag Team Title match in favor of the Masked Superstars. As such the conspiracy between Mr Fergie and the Horsemen can be seen as clearly that, a conspiracy between those individuals. While the way Mr Reed was defeated for the title is truly unfortunate the fact is wrestling matches, including those contested for championships, are won through nefarious means on a nightly basis without the decision being reversed. Mr Crockett acting as the representative of Mid-Atlantic made clear that Mr Blanchard would be made available whenever Mr Watts requested so that Mr Reed could receive his rightful rematch. However Mr Watts refused, demanding the decision be reversed. The Board promptly held a vote and while the decision was close it was ultimately decided the the matches decision would be upheld. Mr Watts furiously declared he would be withdrawing from the Alliance and while we disagree with this rash decision we respect Mr Watt's choice. This and Mr Thatcher's withdrawal of CCW in favor of holding his own Thanksgiving event leaves MACW as the sole American promotion in the NWA. As such Mr Crockett in his newly appointed role as President has made the following decision. Effective immediately Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling be ceasing operations and te National Wrestling Alliance will be going forward as a single promotion. All MACW talent have been giving the option of signing new NWA contracts with the vast majority agreeing. The NWA will be proud to bring the very finest in pro wrestling to not only to the established MACW territory but new venues in West Virginia,Maryland, Ohio and anywhere else that is prepared to host us. The official launch of the new era of the NWA will occur with the debut of "NWA Power Hour" on Friday December 3rd. We can also announce that on Christmas night the NWA will host the first supershow of the new era called "Christmas Chaos" in the Greensboro Coliseum. Matches for the event will be announced on "NWA Power Hour" in the coming weeks.

See that people? Good things happen when you listen to El Jefe. Solie gets it but it seems Lightfoot needs to be reminded. Hollywood may have made a mistake starting something with Bob...or is it Tim? What a card in Orlando! Well The Glamor Boys won their match but they certainly didn't look like winners after The Highwaymen got through with them. Gordon interviewing Luscious & co will never get old!

Way to build intrigue in the opener. Who would actually want to be Richter's partner? Also we're getting the Moretti/Combs rubber match. The Nasty Girls capture the gold but may have pushed The Star Girls over the edge. The Giant Slayers get the win in the 8 woman tag but the big story is the implosion of the Monsters. Richter seems to have finally found a partner she can get along with. Good for her. Mitchell gets what might be her biggest singles win yet. Unfortunately it's overshadowed by Richter wrecking Moretti. McIntyre & Medusa lift the crowd's spirits with a win over the Glamor Girls. Richter regains the World Women's Championship in absolutely vicious fashion. How will anyone take it from her this time?

Tsuruta & Fujinami earn themselves 100k & a World Tag Team Title shot. Not bad for their first night on the job. Parsons gets a little shady to beat Kernodle. I'm going to keep my eye on him. Valiant saves the title for the Great Gagne. The Tornado Handicap match is the war we were all hoping for. Snuka pinning Ox was the best possible ending. Always bummed to see the Bruise Brothers lose but I gotta admit, Larry Z & Perez earned that one. Canek chops the down the redwood. Priceless reaction to their opponents was simply...well...PRICELESS!!! Rock n Roll win the best of 7 & even the Fabs can't argue who's the better team. Henning evens the score with Adidas. Is a tiebreaker on the horizon. Dream Machine was on dream street as Jones was stretchered out of St Paul. But what in the 9 hells is Parsons thinking? Kirby makes a memorable debut as he helps the Pitbull leave Blackwell laying. Mutual respect after a hard fought match, you love to see it. Bockwinkel certainly strengthened his claim on another title shot. And that's why we wait until AFTER the match to get hammered. Congratulations to the NEW champions. Idol gets sent packing with his own brass knuckles. A grueling match leads to a confusing ending. Colon can say he was screwed while Steamboat can rightfully say he kicked out. Looking forward to seeing where this goes. SuperClash is everything I expected...and more!

St Clair vs Hector sounds like a real workhorse opener. I'm also curious to see what Cornette does without a team to manage. Sad to see Bigelow & Busick go but I'm glad they parted ways with their friends on good terms. Tiger rebounds in a big way with the submission win over Del Ray. Holy shit! Smothers gets booted from the Hollywood Knights! We go from shock to shock as The Sheepherders join the Playboy Club! God have mercy indeed.
