  1. I can not imagine the insanity those two will get up to at All Out, but it definitely should be the main event and it should make us all question what the fuck we're watching like some disgusting early 00s Japanese shindy deathmatch promotion.
  2. Lmao it actually happened. Can not imagine the insanity they'll get up to try to top their Texas Death Match.
  3. I believe in TK to see through that social media video leading to Hangman setting that house on fire in the next 4 days. https://x.com/aew/status/1831395863869964759 you love to see it :wow:
  4. Double J had pretty good punches even in late 80s Memphis, so in 202x, that's pure god tier. Remember the multiple angles from 2000-2012 entirely built around Jerry Lawler punching someone purely because his punches were so great?
  5. I'd really like to be able to give both TNA and NXT a shot these days but: 1. Hate the announce teams for both shows. Just constant yelling and noise. 2. TNA's production for in ring stuff is so much lower rent than the vignettes and stuff they do. They can't even get straight cables for the ropes like it is 1983 NWA shows. 3. NXT seems like New Generation era shit in front of an even smaller ECW arena crowd but in like...neon and zoomers. Related to production, god damn across all shows in WWE I've never seen such weak ass strikes and very blatantly missed punches and kicks. Maybe Dunn going with his shitty super cuts and zooms shit was because no one in WWE can throw a decent punch or kick. When stuff looks that bad on TV, hard to imagine how bad it looks to the live audience.
  6. Big missed opportunity to not go back to full Dvorak for one night to let the fans do the sing along thing. In general, that's maybe the biggest misstep with GUNTHER vs WALTER presentation, whatever butt rock shit that kicks in after the opening notes is so nondescript 2005 sounding shit and doesn't fit with either the opening or Gunther's persona and style. The second it kicks out of Dvorak, it is full blown Velocity regular generic rock shit.
  7. I don't see it as a quick turn around but like an epilogue show mixed with the WWE two night event PPVs. It's not like it's a fresh build for All Out, everyone was built at the same time and a direct result of some of the events at All In.

The follow up with Bryan threatening to piledrive/powerbomb Buddy only for Brie to give him the classic wife "absolutely not" look

God damn why is Dbry doing a post show presser with his daughter so emotionally touching

Double J is the only guy that actually benefited from the Conrad network of podcasts on a likeability level, and also he's in perhaps the best shape of his career, very hoping we get a Hangman vs Double J Texas death match soon.

Absolutely delightful show, hard to think of such a good vibes show from start to finish including pre show, literally every match had some wonderful heartwarming moment, doubly satisfying if you were a fan in the 00s indie boom. TK is a real one.

The vibes on this show are exquisite

Alright Ezio doing the voice over for Ospreay's entrance popped me huge
  14. strobogo replied to MoS's topic in AEW
Don't want to read the thread, haven't finished the show, but man this entire show from pre show to main show is so many feel good satisfying moments and returns/debuts
  15. The weird irony that Raven was actually much better as a face than a heel :skip Also WCW cosmology has Raven, Saturn, Sandman, and DDP as high school friends, with Tommy Dreamer unofficially being in that group.
  16. Somewhat related, is the Ricky Steamboat final match in 2022 with FTR available online at all? Or anything from that card? Surely it was an IPPV that has to exist somewhere.
  17. Japan truly wild as fuck to have 80+ Dory Funk Jr. who has looked 80+ for 35 years and stage four cancer patient Osamu Nishimura in an exploding barbed wire death match in 2024, AND it was the longest match on the card.
  18. Dbry is def on his I WILL NEVER RETIRE bullshit, there is a chance for Bryan vs Gunther for another decade to be a classic in AEW/WWE or random Euro indie.
  19. My brain is mush, much like Bryan and Shibata.
  20. Bryan can't retire yet. He needs to run matches with Jay White Takeshita Nigel Brody King Darby Shibata (brainstem on a pole match) Orange
  21. All in '24 looks a lot stronger of a card on paper than '23
  22. Sounds like the perfect Gedo set up to have ZSJ win the title, get off one defense, and drop it back to Naito at the Dome like nothing happened.
  23. I like Shida's jumping knee is more Jumbo impact style than the V-Trigger type most do now
  24. Speaking of Dump Teaser for ‘The Queen of Villains’ Gives a Peek at the Rise of Japan’s Most Frightening Heel - About Netflix how fucking random is this
