WWE TV 3/25-3/31 The Cody Crybabies ride at dawn
Somewhat :beli: that Rock is calling himself The Final Boss when I'm quite sure that's what Meiko Satamura was called her entire NXT/UK run.

WWE TV 3/25-3/31 The Cody Crybabies ride at dawn
It's not that surprising since black and gold era NXT was based on a series of big face arcs carrying everything for years. What is surprising that HHH is the one behind that, considering how pretty much his whole main event run was just dominating heel killing every face for years and years.

who I know I've mentioned it before, but it is pretty interesting/funny that the only pillar whose absence is ever felt is Darby. And currently all 4 aren't on TV. The other 3 make zero impact when missing no matter how hard they're pushed and featured.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4
Really any of the territories outside of WWF trying to go national kind of never made sense to me. WWF had NYC, Philly, Boston, with a home base of the biggest media city in country (world, really) with probably the most famous arena in the country as their home arena for decades. All the other territories were much more specific to their areas that weren't as big media hubs, and were also overlapping with other promotions in a way that WWF didn't have to deal with. A Mid South or WCCW trying to go national without first absorbing or buying out all the other territories along its edges could never work in a way that it could for the WWF.

AEW TV - 3/20 - 3/23 - Gonna Do Eddie Dirty Man
Eddie wasn't done wrong and the match ruled, buncha babies. So like....was the spike thing supposed to hit the bucklepad as a threat or was it supposed to have deeply punctured his entire pelvic region, because the later seems like it should have nearly killed him. It was their best match they've had against each other in WWE or AEW, with a lot of really brutal and interesting spots, but I hope they've gotten this out of their system and the two never interact again in AEW.

AEW TV - 3/20 - 3/23 - Gonna Do Eddie Dirty Man
Heel Okada in an environment where he doesn't need to do 25-30 minutes of work that goes nowhere for EPICS rules.
-
AEW TV - 3/13 - 3/16 - Big Bu Dollar Signs Ine Dollar Signs
Really hope Shibata low key and eventually fully replaces Yuter in the BCC. Any combo tag of Shibata/Bryan/Claudio/Mox any given week, tag or trios, sound delightful.

AEW TV - 3/13 - 3/16 - Big Bu Dollar Signs Ine Dollar Signs
Final realization that AEW is seeing the cards for various Saturday Nights/Thunders in 1996-1999 and being like holy shit that has to rule but instead of 3-4 minute tv matches, they're 10-20 PPV style matches. But every week.

Does TK have the balls to book Okada vs Shibata rematch in 2024

AEW TV - 3/13 - 3/16 - Big Bu Dollar Signs Ine Dollar Signs
It's wild that 2 matches in as an AEW talent, Okada is more interesting than he's been in like 5 years.

AEW TV - 3/6 - 3/9 - Okada is (All) Elite
Bryan vs Shane Taylor fucking ruled Dickhead Okada demolishing jobbers on US TV rules Man wtf that Briscoe buckle to floor on chairs bump.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
I believe the thing that got Vince caught up was that he was using his personal money for the pay offs that should have been expensed to the company and on their records for filings. Which is also :what:

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Finally, some good AEW news
-
AEW TV - 3/6 - 3/9 - Okada is (All) Elite
Remember all the "they're wasting Eddie Kingston" crying for months. Meanwhile, TK made his own G1 built around Eddie, gave Eddie his own Triple Crown, had him go over the entire BCC (and Bryan twice), and now it appears he'll be feuding with EVP Okada for the Triple Crown.

Starks vs LA Knight with a My Way video package would be legendary

All Elite Wrestling
The Four Pillars of AEW: MJF after a year+ title reign, he's been gone for months and his absence has not been felt at all. Sammy: How many times has he been suspended or missed time for injuries or hurt someone doing stupid shit now? Jungle Boy: Suspended to fighting with Punk, Punk has already returned to WWE and been injured and yet Jungle Boy is I guess working NJ now instead of returning to AEW? Darby: The only dependable mf keeping the company on stable ground

AEW Revolution 2024
When is this coward TK going to book Low Ki vs Joe/Bryan in 2024
-
AEW Revolution 2024
Absolute top tier PPV Storm vs Deonna: Quite good Scramble: Messy but pretty good Christian vs DC: Quite good Joe/Hanger/Swerve: Quite good Eddie vs Bryan: Ruled BCC vs FTR: Ruled Ospreay vs Takeshita: Fucking ruled Roddy vs OC: Ruled Sting/Darby vs Bucks: S tier sports entertainmenting from opening video to end of show. AEW when it is peak and with a full arena mega hot crowd is the ultimate early-mid 00s smark promotion. Like this entire show is absolute peak for wild shit you could not have possibly imagined to be happening in 2024 if you were a fan in the early days of the indies explosion in 2001-2002. Tbh, if AEW only existed for the Sting run, it would have been worth it.
-
AEW Revolution 2024
Dawg this card is fucking stacked. Certainly has potential to be an all timer.
-
AEW Revolution 2024
No one wants to see Sting lose. The Bucks aren't getting the rub, just like KO beating Austin at WM was something no one wanted and it wouldn't have even helped KO. I do kind of hope Flair swerves him one last time, for funsies.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
I have no idea why they brought Kevin Kelly in to begin with. They have so many people doing commentary already. It's not like he's some big respected name that brings some prestige like JR or even Tony. He's most known for that fat announcer/interviewer The Rock used to call a hermaphrodite and doing English commentary for NJPW for 6000 fans. And was real fucking bad at the end of his NJ run, then heads to AEW and has zero chemistry with anyone (even a dude he did commentary with for years???), and seems like he has no idea who any of the talent or storylines were. He was very bad as lead pbp. I guess he's tolerable as secondary color guy, but I'd much prefer anyone else in the AEW commentary roster to have that spot instead.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
That dude is on TV every week, what is he talking about
-
WWE TV 02/26 - 03/03 Why do people keep on doing live action ATLA adaptations?
That's what I've been thinking. Seth's involvement in all this seems pretty loose and weak. Stone Cold popping up on Cody's side seems like the real mega pop holy shit moment. No one needs a Rock/Austin rematch in 2024, but the glass shattering and Austin coming out to hit a stunner on Rock with massive oversell would be all timer mega pop for sure.

AEW TV 2/28 - 3/2
Skye Blue gotta be pretty top of the pile of most improved

I would be very stoked if TK somehow tracked down Blitzkrieg and now he was a a 50 year old fat guy wrestler
