WWE SummerSlam 2022
I can not believe in 2022 that there are people getting tight about celeb matches in WWE, which has been doing celeb matches since 1985, and especially about the celebs actually being good.

WWE SummerSlam 2022
Hunter has to give him his first name back. Theory as just a name is super stupid, but also makes his entrance music and gear make no sense either.

Mayweather vs Paul did over 1M buys on PPV

WWE SummerSlam 2022
Also, it worked. Crowd was 100% behind Logan Paul by the end of the match. It's really astounding WWE's booking has been so trash for so long yet they were able to get LOGAN PAUL over as a face.

WWE SummerSlam 2022
Edge still trying to do this spooky and twisted dark guy when he's a 50 year old Canadian who got over playing kazoos is even more sad than Taker doing it all those years because at least he was grandfathered in to that stupid shit

WWE SummerSlam 2022
I'm pretty confident that ugly ass Glam Slam towards the start of the match will be revealed to have a torn labrum or rotator cuff tomorrow.

WWE TV 07/25 - 07/31 It's all about the game
They're running a 70k+ seat stadium. It will likely be the second biggest show of the year, just behind WM. There's no way Roman isn't on that show.

Ring of Honor Wrestling
The super piledriver is the first time that I can think of in US wrestling where someone just deaded a mf with a super ultimate finish that isn't actually their finish.

Is Vince McMahon done?
I get that Vince did a lot for Ric financially and personally in some of Ric's darkest periods, but dude was already in his 40s and a probably 10 time world champion by the time he went to work for Vince, so the idea that Vince "made" him is so strange.

Yeah it's in very poor taste

I'd say whoever runs the warehouse archive probably works in that role

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Cody has long said that HHH is actually one of his biggest influences and mentors in his WWE run. I think he'll be fine when he returns. As for Keith Lee's age, he's younger than Bryan, Punk, Claudio, Kingston, Omega, Christian the same age or within a year of: Miro, Black, Moxley, Orange

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
TK's vision is 1997/1998 WCW. HHH's vision is 1989 JCP.

Ring of Honor Wrestling
Christopher Daniels is the head of talent relations. I'm confused at why his name doesn't pop up in these stories. It seems like that communication is his job, not Tony's.

Workers who never had their best match
The Usos/New Day match from Summerslam pre-show in 2017 was the WWE match of the year

Is Vince McMahon done?
I think he's done, because there's no way he announces his retirement with the intention of coming back when the heat dies down due to investor fears of what happens without Vince guiding everything. I'm sure he will still have some input, particularly with business stuff. Obviously something serious has come up if he retires with a tweet a couple of hours before Smackdown after weeks of going out of his way to put himself back on TV in response to the allegations.

All Elite Wrestling
Ex/Taz/Tony is the team they should stick with. Maybe just bring JR out for one big match on PPVs or something.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
HHH/JJ creative team could actually produce pretty good tv, imo

All Elite Wrestling
AEW has 6 announcers (2 of which are workers), have multiple guests per show. They also hired Big Show and Mark Henry for commentary (I have no idea if Show does commentary as I never watch the youtube shows). They shouldn't be even thinking about picking up another commentator.

AEW TV - July 20/22, 2022
Ending is real weird because there's nowhere else for that feud to go after a War Games and a barbed wire deathmatch, so Eddie losing to massive amounts of fuckery, but throwing Jericho into the spider web doesn't seem like a satisfying ending for him. Other than that, show was pretty rad.

AEW TV - July 20/22, 2022
No matter how bloody the barbed wire match gets, there is no chance it is anywhere close to being as violent as Darby/Brody. That shit was so gnarly the idea of putting Sting anywhere near that is scary shit.

Ric Flair (sigh)
Double J was by far the most interesting thing on the GCW show, too. Dark outlaw Double J is really something I don't think anyone could have predicted even being a thing, let alone actually being compelling.
