Still holding out hope they fix the commercial situation for these giant shows because AEW's commercial breaks are worse than WWE's and picture in picture doesn't help shit. These fucks cut to PIP commercial about 4 minutes into a fucking War Games match. Maybe shorten match times if need be or front load the show so Bryan/Omega can go full 6 stars without being broken up by Dominos and State Farm ads every 4 minutes.

Every HHH match before probably his 2000 run is too fucking long. Dude is just unbelievably boring his first 4-5 years with WWE, it's truly astounding the career he ended up having.

The first couple of Starrcades have so many weird booking choices considering they basically had access to damn near anyone under the NWA banner, which is most of the best in the world at the time and yet the undercards are so dire. It's also kind of like WM 1 where there seem to be a lot of monthly big house shows that seem as big or bigger (and certainly better quality) around the same time in JCP, Georgia, and Florida. However the build on Mid Atlantic TV to Starrcade 1983 is excellent and really makes the event feel like a once in a live time can't miss super event. There's a Flair/Harley match that happens during the build to Starrcade that is so, so much better than the actual Starrcade match. I think it aired in full on TV but in the pre-Peacock days it was up in the Hidden Gems section on the Network so I'm sure it's very easy to find online.

Tommy Dreamer did some pretty heinous stuff on screen with women in his ECW run, and was said to be real fuckin weird with Francine and Beulah in the 90s. I'm not particularly surprised that he's of the "well, he didn't rape her it wasn't that bad come on guys" kind of mindset, but I am a bit surprised he was so willing to air that out on TV in 2021 without thinking of the consequences.

I don't think the industry is ready to cancel Ric Flair, because that implicates basically everyone that has worked with him and his superiors for 40 some years as accomplices who never stopped working with him, hiring him, or honoring him as a GOAT. Except Shane Douglas and Scott Steiner, I guess.

I feel like in 3 months Flair will be welcomed with open arms and there will still be think pieces put out about him but people are still going to pop and whoooo because like it's been said, everyone has known this about Flair for decades, it's not even been an open secret it's just been out in the open that this is the guy he is for 40 years now.

Jade has the look and charisma but man she is so green I'm not even sure she should be on TV at all yet. She'll do a real impressive power spot, but then you see her doing something as basic as a stomp and it looks so atrocious you'd think she wasn't trained at all. She's only been working what like...6 months? And her first match was a celebrity stunt match. I think she's been working frequently on Dark and whatnot, but she's still a 100% rookie in every sense and it very much shows. It's truly wild they debuted her the way they did with basically no training or experience in a match with Shaq. Lmao.

Really hope tk gets an ad free block for the show because commercial breaks have ruined every major match they've put on TV and it would fucking suck to have Bryan vs Omega be 40% pip for Domino's ads
