Haku/Meng
Definitely enjoy parts of the Haku experience but never the entire package. I think there has to be at least a handful of great matches to be on my list. Can't think of a single shining 4 star Haku match where everything came together.

Genichiro Tenryu
Tenryu is the perfect peak + Longevity candidate. Maybe the only peers are Lawler and Hansen for guys who still had more than a handful of standout performances long after their peak. Then again, there are tons of lucha guys who fit this criteria also. Does any Japanese wrestler come close though?

El Dandy
First off, Hall & Oates had tons of awesome stuff. They were also the most successful recording duo of all time, overtaking the Everly Bros. who held the title for like 25+ years. As for Dandy, there wasn't much filler in the 80s with Dandy in the mix. Even with matches we didn't nominate for the 80s set, we would usually acknowledge how great Dandy was in a match.

How about podcasts doing commentary on matches?
This isn't too different than what we were doing with the 1980s viewing parties.

My WON HOF Opus of Mr. Wrestling II
Bix you need to do one for Murdoch since Kris isn't voting for him.

50's & 60's "Wrestling from Chicago" footage
This is awesome stuff. Just watched Legs Langevin vs. Pat O'Connor. Some really fun stuff that Parv would hate since they actually wrestled on the mat and worked holds. I was a little bothered that a pretty solid match mixed in some comedy in the last third but not enough to keep me from enjoying it as a whole.

Pro Wrestling Matches Hall of Fame
Excellent post... because that is what PWO should be, a place where people can have their own thoughts and ideas without being compelled to post in any particular way.

Things Wrestlers Value that we don't
That's a great point. The most famous instance I can recall is the Bret-Bulldog 1992 Summerslam match. When I first watched the match, I had no idea Bulldog was blown up. Didn't really matter to me at all. When I recorded it for the yearbook project, I couldn't help but notice the entire time. Still, it didn't affect my thoughts on the match one way or the other.

2014 Wrestling Observer Hall of Fame thread
At least Bix has Murdoch on his ballot.

How does Austin stand up as an all-timer amid the Attitude era backlash?
Man, this topic should explode once I release the 1999 yearbook. Austin has been awesome. What really hurts his run in 1998 and 1999 (as mentioned earlier) is the insane amount of time he was feuding with Taker and Kane. Foley was up for the Austin feud. He had great chemistry with Austin and they also had some great TV segments with Vince together. Kane and Taker really bring things down form an enjoyment perspective.

Greatest of All-Time project Interest?
Between the '80s projects and the year-by-year threads on this very site, there are a shit ton of references for great matches. Because of the specificity and the vast numbers, a 100 greatest matches poll would barely scratch the surface of that question and likely yield a list of stuff that's already familiar. You end up covering a lot more ground and opening up richer discussion with great workers. One thing we might want to consider Will, Loss, etc. is opening up the archived nomination folders for the past DVDVR projects. Those reviews could offer an interesting reference for people wishing to explore certain workers or periods. Just a thought. When I am finished with the 80s sets, I'll open them up.

Things Wrestlers Value that we don't
No, the point of this site is to talk wrestling the way you choose to talk about it.

How Would You Book a TNA/WWE Joint Show?
Big Show & Mark Henry beat The American Wolves in about 17 seconds. Edwards charges Big Show, chokeslam. Richards tries to charge him also and gets the Big Punch/Slam combo from Henry. Cesaro beats Kurt Angle in 12 minutes. This would be fun before Claudio knocks Kurt out after 12 minutes and a 72 rotation Big Swing. An injured Daniel Bryan makes Eric Young submit in about 3 minutes. Young quits wrestling and goes back to his reality show. Harper & Rowan beat the Hardys in about 14 minutes. I can see the Wyatts getting a fun match out of the Hardys. Dean Ambrose beats Austin Aries in an Evolve rematch after 15 minutes. I think this would be a really good match. John Cena beats Samoa Joe in the "I Got Something To Prove" match after 22 minutes. Cena carries Joe to his best match in 9 years. Joe may or may not have to go to the hospital for a bypass after the match. Brock Lesnar beats Bully Ray in their RAW rematch 12 years later in about 6 minutes. Lesnar puts on a shoot arm breaker, breaks Dudley's arm and retires Bubba for good. Stephanie McMahon vs. Dixie Carter in a cage match ends in 32 minutes after HHH convinces the ladies that a true main eventer needs to go long like his classic cage matches. This may be considered the best wrestling match in wrestling history.

Greatest of All-Time project Interest?
I am just going to list 100 people I really enjoy watching. I don't know why people make this so difficult.

Good Will Wrestling: Wrestling Fans
The thread was partially responsible for several of the topics we discussed on the show. Johnny had already been talking to us about the idea of being wrestling fans. We just added some of the issues in the thread into the discussion. I knew there had to be a name for it!!! Thanks for all the great feedback. Always love having Johnny P on the air.

Wrestling with the Past
Myself, Loss and Childs all have babies and toddlers running around. Unlike myself, the other two are responsible fathers who pay attention to their children. When they lock their kids in the closet at the same time, I'll be happy to throw mine in the closet as well so we can do another Yearbook show.
