The Dream Match that was a nightmare
I think anything after the stroke has to be exempt. My pick would be Lesnar vs. Angle from Mania. I was so amped for that match and besides the SSP botch, just a flat, uninspired match.

That was true for the entire card except for the Stone Cold/Rock stuff. That isn't Outlaws specific.

I think the more interesting question is this: Would have Billy Gunn gotten that pop? Nope. The NOA were an entrance. Their match often got crickets. And the entrance was Road Dogg spitting on the mic. There's a reason why every single Billy Gunn push has failed miserably. Road Dog was more charismatic, was a better worker and was a better talker. Billy Gunn had "Mr. Ass" written on his tights, was the "best pure athlete in WWF", had an awkward finish and said "suck it" a lot. This isn't always true in mid-1998. Been watching a ton of 1998 DX and the entire squad was getting huge heat before, during and after their matches.

WWE Network... It's Here
To C.S.... Looks like they are going to have a 2nd season of Legends House along with Tough Enough and 2 more reality based programs. I wonder what the other two shows are going to be.

Extreme Rules
Kane vs. Daniel Bryan Good for a Kane match, Mediocre for a DB match.
-
Extreme Rules
I know from experience tht extended backstage fight sequences are a crowd killer for the live audience.
-
Extreme Rules
Paige vs. Tamina I know there is a divas match wanting to break out between the right two girls. Hasn't happened yet.
-
Extreme Rules
Cena vs. Wyatt Wyatt should have own but not with that nonsense finish. Crowd was awesome though. If this was the Mania match in front of this crowd, MOTY.

Extreme Rules
Shield vs. Evolution So glad I was right on my prediction. Shield goes over and Evolution lays wasted. Match was great.

Extreme Rules
Barrett vs. Big E Big props for Barrett. I think Big E's match with Swagger may have been better but this was fun, not great.

Extreme Rules
Rusev vs. Truth in the Woods Lasted longer than I thought it would.
-
Extreme Rules
RVD vs. Cesaro vs. Swagger - RVD was RVD. Didn't love the trash can spots even though they looked nasty. I wish RVD would have been eliminated first but this was ok and the right man won.

Extreme Rules
WeeLC Too bad this was played as a joke because I was looking forward to it. It had some fun spots but I wanted it to steal the show.

Current WWE
Great point!!! Also, if Bray had the benefit of blood, he would be the best WWE character in 3 decades.

Wrestling before or after 1996?
If you set the cutoff date at January 1st, 1991, I would never have the need to watch wrestling after. I love bits and parts after 1990 but I would be ok with living in the 80s.

I don't think you are getting a second season.

Matches you must love. But don't.
This is a match that gets a lot better when you watch the feud in context. If you don't know why they are wearing the tuxedos, or don't know why the crowd goes so nuts when DiBiase goes to slide out, bumps his feet against the Cage and remembers he can't run as Duggan just looks at him like "yea, you're screwed" then you aren't going to think it's as a great as people who saw the buildup. It also helps to understand that Ted had been dropping people with the loaded glove for three years. When Duggan nails him with the coal miner's glove at the end, it was three years worth of catharsis in one punch.

WWE Network... It's Here
When I was at Axcess a couple of years ago, he was by far the nicest guy I encountered not named Norman Smiley. I was talking to him and people were forming a line to get his photograph. I mention I was from San Antonio and he wants to start a conversation about San Antonio while people were waiting. I walked away from the conversation because I felt bad for the people in line.

Dave Meltzer stuff
He should be asking his dad. I am sure Rocky Johnson crossed paths with Idol... or did he?

Where does Sting fit in WWE today?
Sting belongs on the WWE Network doing commentary on Warrior documentaries. He isn't needed.

Can you give us some details?

Current WWE
It is entirely because of the extenuating circumstances.

They are going to pull the trigger on the Cena heel turn.

I don't know about that. Maybe during the entrance but he had some nice chants during the match.
