I agree that the timing is wrong for Cody to challenge. It should have been built even more. However, with what they have presented us... it's time for Cody to win. My argument is that I will always back the hot hand babyface as the champion. If Cody loses in any way, I don't see that as a benefit for the company or Cody moving forward. Jericho is so good, he can then spend the next several months making Cody's life miserable. The same way Michael Hayes and the Freebirds made the Von Erichs miserable. Jericho is a great heel to have as a foil for the babyface champion.

Loss and I have been having this debate on messenger. He thinks Jericho should retain. I am all for Cody taking the belt and running with it.

Not bad at all... but this is the 1st show I watched that had segments where I found myself wanting to change the channel.

This was my least favorite overall episode but I still enjoyed it as an easy to watch 2 hour episode of wrestling. The Cody-Jericho feud is carrying this company and that's ok because it's wrestling at its best. Yeah... after that ending, this needs a War games... and it needs a three month build to the next PPV.

Ok, I know I am supposed to criticize the AEW women's division, but aesthetically, I will take their division. Two thick girls beating each other up. A thick Japanese girl dressed like Freddy Mercury and the tiny frail Japanese engine who can. I really like this tag match but I want them to spotlight all of the different wrestlers with some personality profiles. It's the missing piece of the puzzle.

I wouldn't know if they have a personality or not. They haven't been given a chance to show it outside of matches. Riho is awesome to watch because of her charisma.

Ok, they really need to give us some video packages on these different wrestlers. 30 second to 1 minute vignettes. That's all I am asking. They need to hype up this talent.

Bullshit... Seth Rollins is not more tolerable than PAC.

I didn't know I needed a PAC vs. Trent Beretta match until it happened. Really enjoyed the match until the finish. I liked PAC delivering the brainbuster on the floor... but it didn't end the match. Brent should have been DOA at that point with his friends scraping him off the floor. Oh well.

I agree. I feel like the product is cold going in to the PPV. We need something to get excited about the show.

I am fine with guys not being mentioned every show. It's ok if a guy disappears every couple of weeks.

I hear you man... but that is on the wrestlers. I would rather hear JR bitch every single match about every single pinfall than hear one more announcer on WWE speak corporate Vince-isms.
