I thought this one would be interesting because each has strengths that the other doesn't that is going to determine where they end up on a ballot. What do you value... big main events (Austin), multiple great tag team runs (Dustin), huge draw but short run on top (Austin), never a main eventer but around for 25 years (Rhodes).

I don't think he understands the definition of boom period. Boom period, by definition, relies on the gate.

Lawler & Dundee are both near the top of my favorite and best. Condrey & Eaton could be #1 or 2 on both lists. Morton & Gibson are a lock for Top 5 on both lists. Kawada & Taue is probably #1 for best and #2 for favorite. PG-13 are high on the list of both.

It's more of a difference between guys who are immediately able to provide value on the main roster vs. guys who have to be taught from scratch.

I want to respond to one thing.... that Street match isn't the worst that Mid South has to offer. Obviously when putting the list together, we liked it enough to out it on the set. It's just that the voters didn't like it as much as us.

That's where I am Graham... people who watched the AWA project and have discovered Portland Hennig will probably lean Hennig. Those who make WWF their home base will probably think this is a joke and a righteous curb stomping. However, when i make my Top 100 list, I don't know if Hart is listed higher than Hennig on my list. Part of my feeling is that I really don't respect the Hart Foundation as a tag team.

I am not asking this question to troll my Canadian associates but I think this is a more worthy comparison than Flair-Bret (which isn't really close in my mind). For Hennig, you have a lackluster WWF run but when you take his Portland and AWA stuff into account, his high end stuff matches the high end Bret stuff. For Bret, you have the strong workrate run from 1992-1997 with several classics but the rest of his career feels bleh to me. His WCW run was ho-hum. I have no love for the Hart Foundation as a tag team so this comparison feels a lot closer to me than it might for others. Bret or Perfect?

No shot. I don't know if he would make a Top 100 list for my WCW wrestlers list or even Top 50 ECW wrestlers list. No MOTYCs. No consistency. Reliance on garbage without being a great garbage wrestler. Plenty of time to deliver in the ring without really delivering.

Sasha vs. Becky is up there for best match of the year so far.
