The most fun wrestling TV show right now easily....Dario Cueto is awesome....Fenix, Drago, & Pentagon Jr. came in and immediately brought a different level of action to the show. Prince Puma (Ricochet) has looked awesome as well. The announcing though is terrible and Chavo getting the big push isn't really what I want to see myself.

I believe it's people who don't vote lucha, but have heard Cien Caras is a slam dunk and don't want him to fall off. So, they vote for him in the lucha category only and no one else. I guess to see that is see how many total voters there were this year in lucha compared to last year. This illustrates a problem with allowing such fluidity in self selecting where to vote. The problem is if you give ten votes to a person and say they can only vote in one category, what will that do? I think you do something like this: at most you get 10 votes. You are set into certain categories that you can only vote in those. Each category gives you a certain amount of votes (Say 2, 5, 3, etc.. based on how many people in that category). So, say A is allowed to vote in Category 1 & 2, he would get 5+3 votes, so 8 votes to use anywhere. Say, B is allowed to vote in Category 1, 2, 3, & 4, he would get 5+3+2+5, but the max is 10, so 10 votes. Well the easy way of handling this is eliminating categories

And I am in that boat myself......it's such a mixed bag with the voters you don't know what you are going to get.

Joe is on the money there because a lot of voters won't pick someone to get their vote for their favorite that dropped off.....they just won't use that vote at all...there are a lot of voters that vote less than 5 guys a year some even vote 1 or 2.

It's getting to the point with me that it is going to be tough for guys whose primes weren't in the last 25 years to get in..........I also wouldn't be shocked if there was a year coming up where no one got voted in because of it.

Memphis was seen as a joke territory that was nothing but angles and wild gimmicks not to mention the ex-wrestlers that always whined about the payoffs which carries a lot of weight with the "historians"

I think there are a lot of people that think like that and they have a reason to. Regarding the new criteria it's pretty ridiculous and it's kinda taken the passion away from it from my perspective. If Lesnar leaves WWE and signs with an MMA group then has a fight he will be a stone cold lock for the HOF. The "historians" and reporters are such marks for him it's crazy.

I didn't have time to get the guys I didn't vote for. I felt like a rookie going against Bob Roop doing this. I've done loads of podcasts in the past with others but going solo is tough.

AJPW/FMW had a working relationship for a few years there and it was widely reported back in 1998 that Heyman & Kobashi were close to an agreement but it just never happened.

Fritz was aiming to join the AWA after it was decided that Flair was going to beat Race but that deal fell apart so he bought TV in Minneapolis to piss Verne off.

If you define rookie as a newcomer in a regular promotion, than he is a rookie. I am all for voting the way it's listed, as opposed to intended. Maybe it will make him change the rules in the future. He worked Monterey which runs weekly in a big arena and has TV, how is that not a regular promotion? Monterrey doesn't have a singular promotion.....different people run the building sure there are regular promoters but not a promotion per se

Ric Flair vs. Terry Funk is pretty much at the top of my list because it kickstarted the awesome year of NWA and gave Flair the rebirth he sorely needed. Everything around that feud was awesome with the promotion benefiting as well.

The reason why LCG is on next week is that he is starring in Jingle all the Way 2 which is a WWE film with Santino as costar and I expect him to be there too

Pillman & Eddie Gilbert were two of Dave's biggest sources in the business and both dying like they did affected Dave hard....Pillman especially. I understand why he does it but it does get monotonous.

Striker is EASILY the worst thing about Lucha Underground even more than Vamp and Chavo's push.

I love Buddy Landell to death and he is one of my all-time favorites but if he had stayed clean he would've been one of the biggest wrestlers of the last half of the 80's.

The New Breed also fall into this category as Champion & Royal were a couple of Dusty's favs but injuries and drugs killed them.

I could see Rusev walking out on Team Authority during the match but no way they are turning face.
