They could have Sheamus turn on Bryan in the Chamber costing him his chance then make the singles match for Mania where Bryan can get his heat back from 2 years ago then win the title at Extreme Rules.

The winning team gets in the EC so that makes the result obvious plus the Shield costs each other the match

Dylan is right....fans watch the TV and when they see a trend start they get behind it. Orton & Sheamus both got shat on the night after Mania last year and both haven't been the same since. The Randy Savage chants started that night and have been chanted numerous times since during Orton matches and then the chants for JBL & Lawler.

They think Roman Reigns is that guy but I want to see how they portray him as a singles wrestler on his own

It does make me wonder though if they rework Mania to bring Bryan back into the Authority angle with Punk with some type of shooty promo tonight.

I'm sure Vince also had a feeling in the back of his mind that he wanted the WCW thing to fail so he could show everyone that WWE was better even though they bought out the company. When Vince gets the reaction he really wants he'll act on it....in their heart of hearts they probably hate that Bryan gets the reaction he does.

And although Pittsburgh may not be a top smark town they still have some smart fans and if this show took place somewhere a little more southern or even western it could've been different. Like I said earlier the fans were hot for Dolph Ziggler and there are a lot of towns that don't pop for him like the northern cities. Also a ton of fans were Fandangoing as well and that's been pretty dead for months.

The only real way you are going to see real change is if the live attendance starts tanking.....if people boo like hell and still keep going when they come back to their town then it doesn't matter.

The chants have now become "part of the experience" for people as Dylan is totally right about the Cena chants and how stuff like this has become part of the deal. You knew what kind of crowd this was by the huge pop that Dolph got. Dolph's push has been scaled back quite a bit but this crowd loved him. I think WWE's philosophy now more than ever is that it doesn't really matter what kind of reaction you get as long as you are box office that's what matters. Now in Bryan's case he has a spotty track record in being box office but that's because of the way he has been pushed more often than not. He's done his job in the ring but his portrayal has been lacking. Another thing to think about here is you have Bryan, Brie Bella, and other people that work for WWE tweeting their disapproval about the whole thing.....makes you think.

Roman Reigns is also part of "wrestling royalty" in their eyes and they think he can be the next Rock aka his "cousin"

Imagine though if he had been in the match and got thrown out by someone like Big Dave....the crowd would've been even more chaotic

I've been saying for years that Meltzer was what moved the needle on everything that he covers. What pro wrestling people were into UFC like they are now before Meltz covered it hard. New Japan is the shining example as well.
