Holy Grails
https://classicportlandwrestling.bigcartel.com/product/big-time-wrestling-never-before-seen-super-8mm-footage-vhs It seems they fixed that by recording a synth wave soundtrack. Could be cool because the guy is a musician.

AEW All Out 2024
I'm a deathmatch guy so the level of violence in the main wasn't too much. My only issue is that a syringe spot is something best used for non-feud death matches where the secondary point after winning is to show off wild things because they usually go through the cheek and shoot water. So it was just out of place in this story.

I'm almost always in favor of more choices of promotions to watch but this kind of makes me feel it'll just look like WWE/AEW-LITE. The announcing team doesn't make me anymore interested in it either. I'm wondering what the plans are for the roster.

NXT No Mercy 2024: Say His Name and He Appears
I'd like to say Oba is a can't miss guy but this company has a way with those types. I don't see what more The Don can do in NXT but I also don't see where he fits in on the main roster.

NXT No Mercy 2024: Say His Name and He Appears
Not gonna argue with that sentiment. That match kinda exposed how much more work Kelani needs. Handspring into the ropes, just to turn around and do a move as if it never happened. Tag match was fun. I hope they don't try to turn Thea. Lee/Wentz was pretty awesome, unsurprisingly.

Wow two of the most annoying people from Cleveland. You love to see it.

How would you define modern WWE style?
To me, WWE's house style is HBK/Undertaker up and down the card. Lots of drama and playing to the crowd, attempting to appeal to the "WWE is cinema" crowd who only watch Marvel movies. In a vacuum, matches can be very enjoyable and if you tap into the right storyline, they click on that level too. Right now, Gunther is my favorite guy to watch in WWE. His matches are a bit less is more, even if he leaned into the drama stuff with Sami at Mania.

Ring of Honor Wrestling
Full agreement here. That moonsault at the end was awesome, especially coming off a ladder like it did. Kommander/Beast was a really awesome showcase too. That rope walking dive was beautiful.

Holy Grails
My current wish is to see Liger vs Lightning Kid from the Top of the Super Juniors in 93.

WWE TV - 6/24 - 6/28 - Chad Gable Is The New Undertaker
Yeah, the optics aren't great, are they? Aside from that, NXT wasn't bad. I'm not sure how good the Women's NA match will be with two relative new comers in the ring together but Sol is getting better. I kinda feel like they jumped on having Page in the main event too soon and they're killing his heat to a degree.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
I'm not far from Indianapolis so Royal Rumble may be my first PPV. Was hoping to get to SummerSlam but that wasn't in the cards this year.

Is Impact* the best wrestling promotion in history? *(Now TNA again, 2024)
Cool. It doesn't seem like it brought any long term boost. Did you watch this new segment? If so how does it compare?

AEW TV 6/12-6/15 Have you sat under the Learning Tree yet?
Ospreay said on Twitter that he made up the air raid crash into a Michinoku driver on the spot. That's pretty sick for a spur of the moment thing.

Classic move. Possibility of new eyes on the product and they do something like this. I wasn't watching when the original Broken stuff happened. Did it give Impact a boost?

WWE TV 06/10 - 06/16 ILJA VS BRON
Not so much here but I've seen plenty of people on Twitter acting like we'll get a true crossover. The treatment of Ethan Page (I know he's fresh from AEW but the point stands) alone shows what they think of anyone from outside WWE, no matter how much TV time they've had elsewhere.

WWE TV 06/10 - 06/16 ILJA VS BRON
I feel bad for the people who thought the TNA crossover would be something substantial. I don't see anyone from there ending up on main roster shows. For me, that's a plus because NXT is the show I follow most closely. Would love to see a Rascalz reunion. Joe Hendry would be fun too. I'd really like to see Josh Alexander come in and get some more exposure.

Oasis is kind of a representation for a lot of 90s alternative rock that should be going in and isn't, especially when they fall all over themselves to induct any 70s hard rock band they can. But yeah, as a hall of fame it's a joke. I like the actual museum aspect though.

Don't forget 2006's "WrestleManiac" featuring Rey Mysterio Sr.
