  1. I doubt HHH is telling people to talk like that. But I also doubt he's discouraging it. Cole especially is obviously overjoyed and happy to put down Vince without saying his name. The look of legit happiness on his face is hilarious.
  2. The show was amazing. I made a reservation at a pizza place for a pre show get together. I was joined by Nick, Chris, Pete, and Ray from DVDVR who had Bix with them. Then at the show it was like reunion. There were so many folks I've known online, or used to go to shows with back in 2004-2006, or have recorded shows with therein the crowd. And then the show was amazing from top to bottom. I've been to a LOT of shows over the years and this show is easily my favorite. The energy, the vibe, the matches, and the crowd were all incredible. I got to meet Dan Makabe in person after having recorded pod with him and it was like two old friends getting together. If you haven't seen the show, run don't walk to get a subscription to IWTV and check it out.
  3. Learning in the job at house shows is obviously tough, but she hasn't complained about that footage, right? Here's the thing. She's not good. The only way to get good is reps. Getting booed is fine. But, holy shit. the online reactions are insane. Who cares? "The last model they're trying to teach how to work got booed at a house show!" or "FUCK HER SHE CANT RASSLE" Its another sign we'll doomed, eventually.
  4. Dude, it's not "WWE Fans" nitpicking. WWE fans are my 13 year old nephew and his friends who are super into all this, and me, who did nitpick it and figured out what they're doing. The maniacs who lost their their minds last week and now are scrambling because they feel worked have been legion. And it doesn't matter if it was all planned ahead of time, or if they had to pivot and it was incredibly convenient that the pivot was perfect and at a giant press conference.
  5. Stuff is leaking out now about why Shane McMahon and his pervy, old scumbag old man had issues. Shane, according to these rumors, would try to corral his old man from being a total scumbag . We've all shit on Shane for various reasons, and he's definitely still a right wing dope. But now that all the puzzle pieces are falling around us, it seems like Shane's issues with his old man are because Shane isn't a piece of shit.
  6. I read that Prichard suddenly is going in for surgery. If true, that's fucking hilarious.
  7. We couldn't tell here. The crowd in our living room was having a great time. The fact that most of said crowd was six 13 year old kids helped.
  8. I loved that.
  9. I just snagged a front row seat. I got my time off approved and Friday I'm getting my plane tickets.
  10. I'll be there. It's an hour from my folks place. I just put in for vacation time and we're getting Year end bonuses on Friday, so there's my plane tickets.
  11. He looks like an emaciated Dan Haggerty who was left in the dryer too long. Sami looks like a grown human man.
  12. As soon as they have Ellering cutting the promos, this will be so much better. Besides the dumb stable name. " The Last Testament " sounds like what AEW would have to call Judgement Day if they all got fired.
  13. No and probably.
  14. All it took for me to be interested in Kross was having him be the fourth most over person in a faction led by Precious Paul Ellering. Smackdown was really fun tonight. I hated Bobby and The Profits being all , " Aw shucks" babyfaces during the promo, but overall that was a fun show. The finish of the main event was totally booked/ suggested by Heyman. It was so ECW.
  15. That one was literally the first weak looking Claymore I've seen him ever do. It was just one of those things given that Rollins had to end up in the ropes.
  16. Johnny Sorrow replied to El-P's topic in AEW
And Khan was wearing sunglasses and a weird giant wig trying to look like Phil Spector?
  17. I just got back from seeing it. It's very good and very sad. I was in tears at the end. It's very well acted, the cast is fantastic.
  18. Looks like I'll be getting the two big containers full of my DVD's out of the crawlspace. From like, 2004-2010ish I bought almost all of the WWE DVD sets. They were great.
  19. It's gotta be purely some cost cutting bullshit, since WWE's house show business has been hot the last few years. The house shows in Colorado have been near sell outs the last three years. I don't think this is some indicator of them not drawing. WWE is hotter than it's been in years and years.
  20. Dude I gotta ask, how old is your son? The last time I heard " Sassy " on tv was when old pervert McMahon and his crew decided Lacey Evans was the " Sassy Southern Belle".
  21. Nana was the missing ingredient for Swerve. So much current AEW is unwatchable to me but Swerve with Nana is something I always watch. Especially because it swells my heart that after decades, Prince Nana is a star on network TV and he's killing it. I met Nana a couple of times before ROH shows back in 2005ish and he's such a great guy.
  22. That clip of Alvarez losing his mind at Meltzer about the AEW overrun issue with YouTube TV and DVR's is hilarious. Alvarez can be a tool but he was completely right and listening to him lose it on Dave is some funny shit.
  23. How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck embarrassing Flair wearing a suit made from my great grandma's couch covers on live TV in 2023?
  24. The Von Eriches don't have a female following is an idea I never thought I'd see expressed.
