I'm currently reading the book "American Comics: A History " by Jeremy Dauber. It's outstanding and essential reading for comics fans.

Jax aside, I think the point being discussed is how fans will dismiss reckless behavior from " great" performers and also shit on reckless behavior from " bad" performers. It's the whole thing where fans praise stiff work from their favs and bitch about stiff work from the wrestlers who aren't " good workers".

The other three " EVP's" all turned heel and flourished. Cody just seems to be fighting against what the crowd wants.

Well now I know why Cody had shit on his back. That made no sense. Andrade didn't go through the flaming table but he took the brunt of it? Boo.

Andrade's Black Mask gimmick rules as much as the name " Jose the Assistant " sucks. Boos for Cody of course. Just cause he's from Atlanta doesn't mean people there like him.

I don't have cable so I never get to watch Dynamite, but I'm visiting with my folks in Jersey this week so I'm checking it out. Yeah, I hate it when guys push guys out of pinfalls during sequences and that one really stunk. I love Sting wearing Darby's face paint here, looks badass. Fun enough show so far and it speaks to why " squash" matches are needed. No one thought Dragon or Punk were going to lose and Wardlow had a classic squash. And no way is Gunn Club winning either. Speaking of Billy Gunn, why is he allowed to use the name? He didn't use it in TNA, right? Does WWE just not care anymore? Oh, and I watched NXT last night for the first time in forever, wow did that blow.

They debuted them in fucking Wichita to a bleh reaction. I'm sure that's what killed them to Vince. Cause if you can't get an AfricanAmerican Hip Hop act over in fucking Wichita, how can they get over in almost every other major American city? I just happened to be watching SD that night and I was gobsmacked that they debuted them in fucking Wichita. They were dead in the water, that crowd didn't care. Wichita! What the fuck?

Inner Circle vs ATT had really only two jobs. Be sort of a comedy match and put over Sammy. So it succeeded, especially Jericho yelling at Junior LOUDLY to get up to do a spot. That made me laugh, so comedy achieved.

Well, that's why wrestling is so great. The stuff I didn't dig is what had you so invested. At the end of the night we all had fun watching a great show.

Yeah, I get the story they were telling with the Bucks, man. But to me it was a speed bump in the middle of a hot finishing sequence to crown a new champ. It kneecapped the crowning moment a bit for me . But different strokes and all that. The PPV was a fucking blast, at the end of the night.

The Bucks bit with Page right before the finish took a lot of steam off the energy of the 1-2-3, at least to me. And what was with all the biting? Between the biting and the defiant middle fingers spots. I was thinking that someone needs to coordinate those spots so they aren't repeated. Overall, this was a really great show. It was just too long and a couple of matches could have been shortened.

As Jericho was looking up at Heaven telling Eddue he loved him, I pictured Eddie looking down and saying, " That match was the shits, Ese."

Eddie vs Punk was great, but I'm getting tired of Eddie losing on every PPV.

Jesus, that Air Raid Crash looked like it killed Tay.

Blue Lives Matter gear Cody is even worse than Homelander Cody.

Andrade's Black Mask gear is awesome. But " Jose the Assistant " ? Really?

I'm loving the Jungle Boy story, but that was way too long.

No shit, they should do a tribute to that Barry Windham unbuttoned jeans poster and sell them at shows. He looks great.

Looks like there's some timing issues . They had to cut the replay and promo package for this. Not that I mind.

This crowd is starting to fo 50/50 for these guys. That's wild.
