  1. I totally think this Lacey stuff is to get audiences ready for her coming on strong after Mania. It's a great slow way to introduce her and she'll be a player after Mania. She's already great at everything that actually matters.
  2. I thought the same thing about the gear. It was the "Ready, Willing, and Gable" towel that raised my eyebrow. And I want him to help Corbin, not as a lackey, but as a way to get over as a heel. Gable can be a great heel, he showed it in NXT.
  3. I love that Lacey Evans is doing the Brutus Beefcake intro gimmick. Just walking out in the middle of matches or whatever.
  4. Who better than World Cast? And Mr. Ebony is my new favorite wrestler.
  5. I've been calling a "McMahon Family War" that ends with Vince off to do the XFL and HHH running things since they started the whole " no more GM's" angle. Hopefully HHH calls Vince "Pops" again.
  6. So, as far as the Angle / Corbin match... I'm just watching RAW on Hulu now and it struck me as odd Gable came out in red, white,, and blue with his old "Ready, Willing, and Gable" towel gimmick. If I was a betting man I'd wager that Gable is going to be feuding with Baron Corbin after Mania, or teaming with him after helping take out the "old Olympian ".
  7. So, my family is always around while my friends an I watch the PPV's. I know they're not Pay Per Views anymore but I'm old and not changing that. I had to try to explain to my Boulder, Colorado Family how great and ironic the Daniel Bryan heel character is after they looked over at the show and saw the sign that said "Evil Vegan." It didn't go well, but they do love the hemp belt.
  8. I liked how over Braun got really fast after being in the Wyatt Family, but first time I saw him struggle through a singles match that was longer than 10 minutes I knew he was gonna be an attraction guy. At least for the time being.
  9. We've been podcasting to the niche of the niche since we started Titans. This is the ultimate version as I only wanted to do this for two people. And they know who they are.
  10. Finally, Shane is a heel. There was nothing cool about his mid life crisis Dad look.
  11. Ok, this "Uncle Dave" shit needs to stop post haste. It's not ok. It's weird, and I don't care for it.
  12. Johnny Sorrow replied to NickH's topic in WWE
    It's still a great joke.
  13. It doesn't surprise me at all. Dave has become a Twitter drama guy himself. He knows that this shit gets attention. And again, I really hope this "It's scripted " shit stays on Twitter and doesn't make TV. The HHH ," This isn't the character, it's me, Dave!" promo was how you do this shit well on TV. That worked. I can't imagine Rhonda going on RAW and saying " It's all fake!"
  14. Now Gallows and Anderson are an act that will definitely end up in AEW. One of the main reasons they wanted to stay in WWE was that they liked living at home. Now they can do that and work somewhere else where they'll be bigger names and in better spots than now.
  15. Johnny Sorrow replied to NickH's topic in WWE
Hahahahaha! Holy shit, best joke about this. Nothing is topping that, man. That joke was Grrrrrrrr-eat!

This is the best thing I've seen in my 36 years of watching wrestling. It's not a commercial, it's a corporate motivational event for Kelloggs management that was filmed for some reason. It's fucking bonkers.
  17. I didn't know Dr. D David Schultz posted here! I heard you built that house with your bare hands, you were gonna go on the space shuttle, and your wife wears a rope belt.
  18. Oh, and Joe/ Rey/ Truth/ Andrade was fucking dope. I loved that match, and my geek hope is Joe vs Cena at Mania.
  19. Oh, most of my life I've walked away from any kind of fight, with only a few exceptions when it was defending myself. But I spent seven years as a DJ at a strip club where all male employees were also bouncers. I would have loved to have been able to armbar a motherfucker. I did once front face lock a guy and flat face bumped him to the floor. Not as cool as a spinning armbar, though. Normally it was just a turnbuckle shot. The turnbuckle being the doorframe.
  20. If I was a trained MMA fighter I'd totally go for an arm bar in a bar fight.
  21. Ok, but that doesn't change the fact that if you choose to ignore twitter, you'd be unaware of all this. If you just watch the TV, none of this nonsense would be part of the conversation. Now, if on Monday they start referencing the tweets then that's different.
  22. Here's the thing though, if you choose to just ignore the twitter stuff, you'd be unaware of it as thus far, none of it has been mentioned on TV.
  23. Apparently Bruce is only a consultant on creative so he's not leaving the show.
  24. Apparently she hasn't been offered a full time job yet. They're testing the waters first.
  25. That's also why Scott Hall was "Magnum" Scott Hall for a minute in the AWA. All the stache.
