Just my opinion, that New Day/ Ricochet vs. Imperium match smoked all of the Elite/DT matches in the Best if 7 so far.

Someone at DVDVR called Jericho Khan's Iago, thought that was pretty funny.

So I was wrong last month when I said that it must have been Khan who booked Cabana against Jericho as a fuck you to Punk, because I figured the owner of the company would be the one making that call. According to Cabana, it was Jericho's idea.

Yeah, he's not going to challenge Roman. But he is being taken seriously. Wherever they go with this and Owens is main event level stuff. Sami and Owens are HHH guys, and before Vince left he was also definitely behind Sami, especially after the Mania Knoxville match. Same with Owens making Austin look like a million bucks. Granted, in Vince's mind that's why he saddled Owens with the Ezekiel feud. " God dammit pal, you can get anything over!" Which Owens did, but it's telling that as soon as Vince's ass was gone Owens breaks Ezekiel's back and immediately was rebooted as a top badass. Oh, and not for nothing, when Sami was doing the Knoxville feud the new Jackass movie was a huge financial and critical hit. You may not like Knoxville, but it wasn't some example of digging up some old celebrities.

I like that HHH is trying again with acts like Kross or Eric Young. So many folks got kneecapped by Vince, they never even had a chance. Like Kross, I don't care about him, I hate the character, but this isn't putting him in a gimp suit. If he fails now, it won't be for lack of trying. He's already an upper mid card guy. That's not a bad place to float around. Thats also related to the only thing I really like with the current Bray Wyatt shit. He came back, it was huge and people still love him...but his first feud is LA Knight. Which helps Knight get over after his HHH reboot.

Kofi trash talking Imperium while doing the Alex Wright Wunderkind dance ruled. He yelled, "Y'all remember Alex Wright? Y'all look like a buncha Alex Wrongs!" It's the hardest I've laughed during a wrestling tv show in forever.

Both of those examples are why Sami and Owens are in main event roles now. Anyway, that SD was great. And Ricochet vs Escobar was awesome.

Danielson vs. Dax was a fucking great match. I hope it leads to something, because the only story behind it was "Dax wants to test himself". Great matches are fine, but if there's no reason beyond that with Dax losing? Then who cares? Great match but what are the stakes? I'd hope that since the BCC is done it leads to an allegiance of FTR and Danielson, who can then feud with the Elite with Danielson serving as the Punk proxy.

The Bloodline/ Sami story just continues to be the best thing going.

I love that Rollins has evolved into Modern Day Jimmy Valiant with this gimmick. I love it. Someone needs to tie him in the ropes and shave his head.

I'm watching Dynamite now, and this opening segment with Regal,Mox, and Danielson stinks. " Stop Mox, My daddy was a drunk, too!" Blehchh. The crowd totally shit on it. Its pretty great that a purple Gilligan hat has made me care about Swagger for the first time since he was managed by Dutch.
