I'm watching it now and that's not what happened. It was clear that Swagger was already booked as his opponent .The bell rang when Jericho entered and was introduced by Lillian saying "The following match is scheduled for one fall, etc." Then during his promo running down AJ and Canada, he also ran down Swagger, his scheduled foe. Swagger wasn't coming out to defend Canada's honor at all.

Who still buys PPV's from cable companies for 60 bucks in HD? I don't care if it's the greatest card of all time, if you're still buying PPV's from the limited amount of companies that carry them now you're a dummy or can't get good internet speeds.So let's drop this "I can't believe someone would pay 60 bucks" tired old talking point in the age of ten bucks a month for the Network. I know it robs hate boner nerds of one weapon, but it's no longer fucking relevant. Now it's "IMA GONNA CANCEL THE NETWORK" . Let's keep up.

Did that have the three way with all the chairs?

I normally think most two out of three falls matches stink, but this was great. In so many Two out of Three's, guys lose a first fall too soon and at times from moves that normally don't get pinfalls. Like if Sami got a pin from the Blue Thunder Bomb when it's never gotten a win yet on TV.This match had a LONG first fall where basically an entire normal match happened..THEN the next two falls were shorter with two exhausted guys going at it. Groovy shit.

Can't be better than the vegetarian picnic burger at Fresh in Toronto.

Were there really any better options for Bryan's first title defense? Evolution needed to be moved away from him immediately because no good could come from a rematch with any of the three. Wyatt was in the middle of the Cena feud, even if he would have otherwise made the most sense. Cesaro should have been a babyface and the non turn killed him as a heel. The problem with Kane was more that Bryan had just beaten him like a drum as Corporate Kane than that he was Kane, but at least he had the alter ego thing going and Bryan was made to look incredibly strong in the title match. Doing Shield vs. Evolution to fill time as the "real" main event program until someone else made sense for Bryan was really the best idea. And Kane made sense given their history.
