  1. Hi all Tier C & D promotions! It's time for the rookie draft! Talent available: Kenny Kaos Robbie Rage Tiger Ali Singh The Blue Meanie Chip Minton Christian Cage Edge Dawn Marie Jamal/Umaga Rosey Lenny Lane Onryo Reckless Youth Matt Hardy Jeff Hardy Shannon Moore Trent Acid James Mason Alex Shane We will have two rounds, then rest go to free agency. Round 1 SMW: Hardy Boyz USWA M-Pro MTW: Chip Minton Stampede Round 2 MTW Stampede M-Pro SMW USWA Start drafting here. After the rookie draft, Stampede will pick their roster using free agency and that will re open up. Plus.. it's time for Stealing!!! Original rules: Every month the Tier A & B promotions will rotate through one attempt to steal a talent (ie WCW one month, WWF next, and ECW the one after, followed by WCW again). The player can pick one talent from an equal sized or lower tiered promotion to steal. A die will determine if they are successful or not. If the talent you want to steal is on the same tier and is top 6 for that company, then the player selects one number between 1 and 12. Two dice are rolled if that number comes up, they get the talent. If the talent you want to steal any other talent then the player selects one number between 1 and 6. A die is rolled if that number comes up, they get the talent. So.. WCW pick what promotion you want to steal from. If it's a WWF person who is in their top 6, please let me know. You don't have to say the person here. I will roll the die and we will see if you are successful.

  5. FMW Fall Spectacular, Night 2 October 24, 1995 in Akagi, Gunma, Japan Citizen Gym Super Leather & Jason the Terrible with Terry Funk vs. Katsutoshi Niityama & Masayoshi Motegi A simple squash to show how dominate the top tag challengers are. No Holds Barred: La Parka vs. Maxx Payne La Parka wanted to show Matsunaga that he is just as dangerous as Mr. Danger. Parka blooded Payne up and they brawled all over. Parka draped his steel chair with barbed wire and nailed Payne in the head for the win. He challenged Matsunaga to a Death Match of Matsunaga's choice for the show on the 28th. Double Inoue vs. Shark Tsuchiya & Crusher Maedomori Kyoko Inoue pins Shark to win for her team and is ready for MegumI Kudo on October 28th. Jinsei Shinzaki, Hisakatsu Oya, & Rick Fuji vs. W*ING Kanemaru, Daisuke Ikeda, & Koji Nakagawa Kanemaru tried out two new partners and it was promising, but Shinzaki pinned Nakagawa for the win and to keep his momentum going into the 28th title shot against Tanaka. Kanemaru said he will give Ikeda and Nakagawa another chance. Masato Tanaka & Sabu vs. Mike Awesome & Mr. Awesome Double Awesome picks up the win after a miscommunication between Sabu & Tanaka. Afterwards they almost came to blows, but shook hands afterwards. INTERMISSION! Shinobu Kandori vs. Cutie Suzuki Kandori destroys Cutie on way to victory. Terry Funk with Super Leather & Jason the Terrible vs. Horace Boulder Boulder is outmatched by the three men. Hayabusa and Boss Man run out to get rid of Leather & Terrible, but that left Funk alone with Boulder. Funk made Boulder submit to the Spinning Toe Hold. Megumi Kudo & Combat Toyada vs. Mayumi Ozaki & Chigusa Nagayo A tough battle back and forth. The WWF and FMW Women's Champions squared off for the first time here and the battle was instense. Combat pinned Ozaki with the Thunder Fire Bomb. Horace Boulder
  6. Rumour turns out to be FloSports running an app that streams indies for 20 a month. Their goal is to get everyone not with WWE onto their service.
  7. Stampede should probably be Tier C with Bruce Hart as owner.
  8. Which brits are you thinking? If we are adding brits on mass, we probably should do a draft to correspond with the rookie draft. Actually, I will plan this all out tomorrow and start that up. Rookie draft, free agent draft, Stampede roster, and the first attempt at major companies stealing.
  9. Pick from free agency and start whenever you are ready! I will message the ECW booker to see what is up. If he's done, then ECW is all yours.
  10. That is awesome Scarlet!
  11. Jimmy Hart and Gene Overlund seem like the two on the ballot who are the biggest omissions.
  12. What a waste of an AJ match, quality wise. However, it might do something to get him more over if done right.
  13. I like the idea of an expansion draft.. maybe we have to expose 4 folks off our roster and a new promotion can pick one from each roster and then make the rest of their roster up from Free Agency. Just remember we can't expose wrestlers that can't work in that area. So if the new promotion is Stampede in Canada, the four people you expose can't be all Japanese exclusive folks. Free Agency is the other option, but not as fun.
  14. I wrote in this thread, is that cool?
  15. Dear Parv and Allan, one of my brother's favourite wrestlers was Bastion Booger. Where did he come from and why didn't he last? Wasn't he unbeatable with his hump, so nobody could pin him? Was that a real or fake hump? Tell me everything about Bastion Booger please, it will make my brother's day!

Goldberg's return and promo were awesome! So excited for one more ass whooping by Goldberg on Brock.
  17. Stampede seems like a good option. Maybe we should do an expansion draft, where we each expose a handful of folks and Stampede can make their roster by picking one from each roster and from the free agency list?
  18. FMW Fall Spectacular, Night 1 October 17, 1995 in Minokama, Gifu, Japan Minokama Central Gym La Parka, Ricky Fuji, & Hisakatsu Oya vs. Mitsuharu Matsunaga, W*ING Kanemaru, & Horace Boulder W*ING has started tested out team mates for his tag title shot on the 28th, but this night did not seem too successful. Matsunaga focused on La Parka and was not a great partner. Parka and Mr. Danger brawled all over and were a bloody mess, which left it as Boulder & Kanemaru versus the tag champions. Fuji played face in peril, but Oya came in on the hot tag and got the pin on Boulder. Jinsei Shinzaki vs. Maxx Payne Shinzaki gets the win in a warm up match for his title shot on the 28th. Chigusa Nagayo, Shinobu Kandori, & Cutie Suzuki vs. Shark Tsuchiya, Crusher Maedomori, & Mayumi Ozaki A really good women's tag to showcase Kandori's debut. She picked up the win on Crusher. The Gladiator Mike Awesome w/ Mr. Awesome vs. Masyoshi Motegi After losing the title at the finals of the Grand Slam tournament, The Gladiator has returned under the name Mike Awesome. He has lost the face paint and gained a new second, the masked Mr. Awesome. Awesome destroyed Motegi here. Super Leather & Jason the Terrible vs. Ktsutoshi Niiyama & Hanzo Nakajima The two foreign monsters destroyed the young guns of FMW. Double Inoue vs. Combat Toyoda & Megumi Kudo After the war Toyoda and Kudo had on the last show at Korakuen Hall for the title, they decided to put their differences aside for a renewed focus on tag team. However, Double Inoue have more experience as a team and were able to pick up the win when Kyoko Inoue pinned Kudo. She challenged Kudo to a title shot on the 28th, which Kudo accepted. Masato Tanaka & Koji Nakagawa vs. Sabu & Daisuke Ikeda Sabu shocks everybody by pinning the FMW World Brass Knuckles Champion for a second time in two nights. Chainsaw Charlie w/ Super Leather & Jason the Terrible vs. Big Boss Man w/ Hayabusa A big time brawl here, but the numbers game on Charlie's corner was enough to give him the win with a moonsault through a barbed wire board. Boss Man and Hayabusa really need to find a third partner for their match on October 28th.
  19. They have those every year. He could mean a card with all or mostly Survivor Series matches. Which this will not be. There will be 3 matches, plus you have Goldberg-Brock and I am sure others. Hopefully they do add a Cruiserweight Elimination match too, then maybe each show can do their own Survivor Series matches with the folks left over. Either way, there will be atleast one non-Elimination match. You know what though, 87/88 with those huge tag matches with 5 teams on 5 teams were some of the best Survivor Series matches ever, so I am excited even if it means nothing.
  20. They have those every year.
  21. by the way, Terry Funk and La Parka tagging is the greatest thing ever!
  22. FMW Lethal Lottery October 16, 1995 in Kumamoto, Kumamoto, Japan Honda Civic Center Lethal Lottery: Hisakatsu Oya & Koji Nakagawa vs. W*ING Kanemaru & Super Leather The brawling team here showed good chemistry and picked up the win when Leather pinned Oya. Leather demanded a title shot for him and Jason the Terrible after the match. Kanemaru was pissed and believes he deserves a title shot for getting a win over Oya. Lethal Lottery: Jason the Terrible & Ricky Fuji vs. Hayabusa & Katsutoshi Niiyama Hayabusa carried Niiyama to the win here, picking up a pin on Fuji with the Fire Thunder Bomb. Lethal Lottery: Big Boss Man & Mitsuharu Matsunaga vs. Chainsaw Charlie & La Parka In the bloodiest brawl of the show, these two teams parted into a Charlie-Boss Man and a Parka-Matsunaga brawl. All four bleed as they went all over the arena. Just as Boss Man hit the Slam, Jason the Terrible and Super Leather came out of nowhere and helped lay him out leading to Charlie pinning him. Lethal Lottery: Hanzo Nakajima & Masayoshi Motegi vs. Jinsei Shinzaki & Horace Boulder The juniors versus the heavyweights here. Although Shinzaki kept up with the juniors in the flying department, this match went to the Goliaths when Shinzaki hit the Praying Power Bomb on Motegi. Lethal Lottery: Masato Tanaka & Maxx Payne vs. Sabu & Daisuke Ikeda FMW talks about having all styles compete and this was truly an "All-Styles Match". Early on Payne and Ikeda tried to mat wrestle, but when Sabu and Tanaka got involved this became a crazy brawl. Ikeda did a great job of working over Tanaka's leg which lead to Sabu pinning Tanaka after a Triple Jump Moonsault. Bring Your Own Weapon's Battle Bowl Featuring: Super Leather with a chainsaw W*ING Kanemaru with a 2x4 Hayabusa with numchucks Katsutoshi Niiyama with a kendo stick Chainsaw Charlie with a chainsaw La Parka with a chair Jinsei Shinzaki with a bed of nails Horace Boulder with a barbed-wire baseball bat Sabu with a table Daisuke Ikeda with his own fists A wild out of control brawl that went all over the arena. Eliminations were by pinfall with falls counting anywhere. Chainsaw Charlie and Super Leather teamed up and took out Hayabusa early. The final four came down to Charlie, Leather, Sabu, and Jinsei Shinzaki. Sabu and Shinzaki teamed up and were able to tie Charlie up onto the barbed-wire board and then put Leather through the table. Charlie nailed Sabu in the arm with the chainsaw and pinned him, while Shinzaki came from behind and rolled up Charlie for the win. Annoucements: Jinsei Shinzaki earned a title shot against Masato Tanaka on October 28th at Korakuen Hall. Also signed for October 28th is Chainsaw Charlie, Super Leather, and Jason the Terrible taking on Big Boss Man, Hayabusa, and a mystery partner in a Barbed-Wire Explosion Death Match. The third announced match for October 28th is W*ING Kanemaru and a partner of his choice getting a tag title shot. On October 26th Jason the Terrible and Super Leather get a tag title shot as well.
  23. Writing up Lethal Lottery now and I did in fact use a randomized draw. This is legit folks!
  24. Twitter is an interesting beast, where some wrestlers use it to advertise or push their gimmick. I think there is some discussion to be had about how wrestlers should use twitter. Also who are the best people to follow? I do find it fascinating that some wrestlers will seek out there name being used in a tweet and re-tweet it, while others will not even re-tweet something if you use their handle in the name. Today, Mick Foley said he will not direct message with any fan again, because that fan posted their DMs. I think a little silly of Foley there.

How is a dominant kick ass champion a problem? Didn't Mike Tyson, GSP, Rhonda Rousey, Goldberg, etc.. do pretty well?
