  2. Yeah, more of this guys would had been on there but I focused on other luchadores. Still they did really well compared to 2006.

  5. 189 - Mocho Cota 2006 Ranking: unranked Points: 727 # of Ballots: 23 Average Vote: 69.39 High Vote: 21 (Dean Rasmussen) Low Vote: 100 "Most charistmatic lucha guy." Jerryvonkramer "The simple answer is "because he is that good." He's a malignant goblin, the most charismatic heel on my list to date, even more so than Negro Casas or Buddy Rose, my #2 and #3, even more so than El Satanico and Ric Flair. What's most remarkable is the sheer talent he had, as seen by his 80s title matches, and the fact he was able to almost completely submerge that talent into his obnoxious, rudo character. He's more entertaining than anyone on my list up to this point, immediately catching the eye like no one else. If Satanico represents the idea of the rudo in lucha, Cota transcends lucha itself." Matt D "Motherfucking charisma." simen oem
  6. Hamada takes another off my list. Really fascinated by the fact he ranked in the same spot as he did in 2006. That's got to be a plus, with all the new footage and new wrestlers that have emerged int he last decade.
  7. 190 - Gran Hamada 2006 Ranking: honourable mention Points: 714 # of Ballots: 22 Average Vote: 68.55 High Vote: 26 (Alan Counihan) Low Vote: 100 NOTE: Gran Hamada ended up ranked in the same spot in 2006 & 2016.
  8. For an unranked guy in 2006, MS-1 did really well.
  9. 191 - Hayabusa 2006 Ranking: honourable mention (118) Points: 704 # of Ballots: 24 Average Vote: 71.67 High Vote: 28 (Timothy Buechner) Low Vote: 100 "Sentimental pick. Hayabusa wasn't on my ballot at all until the last 24 hours, where I had a nagging feeling that I wasn't happy with my final entrant. Busa was the first wrestler I saw a photo of that made me think "I need to see him" and is massively responsible for me starting to buy tapes, and he was always a joy to watch in the ring. 15. If any Indie can put together Pentagon Jr. & LA Park vs The Briscoe Brothers I would be forever happy.
  16. Another on my team has fallen. Jay did pretty well though.

  18. I'm leaning towards Stevens being really shitty like Angle, actually.
  19. When we get to 150. Some will be happy with the pick, but a lot will be angry they didn't make the top 100. There is no dream number. Reactions I am waiting for are for picks: 112, 120, 124, 144, 148, 162, and 182. Of folks outside the top 100 those reactions should all be fun to see.

  21. 198 - Randy Orton 2006 Ranking: unranked Points: 619 # of Ballots: 19 Average Vote: 68.42 High Vote: 20 (John Steffy) Low Vote: 98 "Has a lot of runs of quality work - 2004, 2006-07, 2009, 2011 - and has built up an impressive resume of great matches over the years. He can do over-acted WWE storytelling stuff, main events, or 13 minute Smackdown matches. Physically super impressive and is one of the best bumpers around. " Jimmy Redman Recommended Matches: Randy Orton vs Cactus Jack (WWE Backlash 2004) Randy Orton vs John Cena (WWE SummerSlam 2007) Randy Orton vs Christian (WWE Over the Limit 2011)
  22. I'll find new pics before I post number 198, because 198 stinks.

  24. Some people think the last 5 years of NJPW is the greatest 5 years of any company ever. Not recency bias, just weird NJPW bias.
  25. I didn't know people thought Big Show was anything outside of excellent. This shocks me.
