Negro Casas
The fact he has been a top 5 worker even in the last few years and he was having great matches in 1987 is really ridiculous. I've been watching a lot of his back catalog and he was shooting up my list. He is easily in the top 10 now and we will see how high he can get.

Heard reports she is a natural. She is huge and had good offence that is enough for a fun match with Bayley.

[2002-10-16-NWA TNA] A.J. Styles vs Syxx-Pac
One of my favourite current wrestlers versus one of my favourites all-time. Syxx is the X Division champion and he is defending against Styles who has debuted his new manager Mortimer Plumtree here. This was really good. After a nice slow build AJ unleashed some good offense while in control. Watlman's comeback was real good with some amazing spin kicks (even if AJ did flip sells). He brings out his own dive and a nice suplex, before AJ goes for a discuss lariat and nails the referee. X-Factor, but Plumtree breaks it up and as Waltman goes for revenge the referee wakes up and stops it. Vicious punches sets up a bronco buster, but instead of the stupid riding he just punches him in the face. He unloads with more and more kicks, but the referee gets shoved down and Waltman getts DQ'ed. Grudge match is coming and it should be fun. All and all a solid match setting up a rematch. Waltman still looks great in 2002. #wrestling365

Beginner's Guide to Analyzing Wrestling?
For me, I just watch the match and afterwards try to explain why it was good or bad.
-
Your own Criteria
I think my criteria boils down to going sight unseen whose matches would I want to see the most whose matches do I think would be the best. Now how I arrive on who would have the best match for a match I have not seen obviously goes down to watching previous matches and how they work, etc..
-
Your own Criteria
Not directed to me, but I will answer anyway. Obviously not. 1999 is awful, while 1989 is an all-time great. However the person who was the best in 1989 (Jumbo, Flair, Tenryu, Steamboat?) will be way higher than someone who may sneak on due to being the best in 1999 (Tajiri?)
-
Your own Criteria
I do like that idea though. How many people can claim to be the best in the world during a year, that has to count for something.
-
Your own Criteria
Does that mean Sasha or Roman gets on for this year?

WWE Talk October 12 to October 18
Watching NXT this week. Bayley has Emma, Alexis Bliss, Donna Blake, Nia Jax and Asuka all as future matches that could be from entertaining to great. Jax vs Bayley is a match I can't wait for!

Beginner's Guide to Analyzing Wrestling?
I would think if you go through the section where their is individual threads on matches they break them down in a variety of degrees. Reading through those, watch the matches and read the comments. You can also check out the PWO-PTBN podcast network where there are a huge amount of podcasts where they break down matches. I think if you watch a match, read comments and hear comments of people analyzing it you get a good idea about how people do it.

[2004-10-15-ENESMA] L.A. Park vs El Dandy
El Dandy defends the Mexican National Light Heavyweight Title Park is in a cool red variant outfit. The first fall is technical wrestling where Dandy gets the win with a leg submission. It's not the type of stuff you want out of LA Park in 2004, but he is solid enough here. The second fall stats off super fast paced with some great armdrags by Park then a tope into an armdrag on the floor. Park gets a submission of his own for the very very short second fall. Lots of fun, but modern lucha short second fall syndrome here. The third fall is a lot of fun. Lots of dives and big moves, but sold well through out. The ending was interesting as Dandy and Park both take out the other seconds and look to do topes in sequence, until Park turns around and pins Dandy quick. Overall a pretty fun match, but way below any expectations I would have. #wrestling365

New Project: Wrestling 365
I love this. Just watched LA Park vs El Dandy. Great idea Charles. Are we waiting for January for this or is this continuing on from here? It's been so fun I don't want to stop. I am using #wrestling365 on twitter if anybody else wants to join in.

TNA Moments/Hits/Misses
05-06 I was all in on TNA. They had spent the year building Joe. Great x-divion matches, etc... then the month before their biggest show of the year (and they were building sting-jarrett) joe beats jarrett for no reason and doesn't get the belt. Angle debuts and russo comes in and everything falls apart.
