WWN Live-Evolve, I-ppv's
I have been plowing through 2015 EVOLVE and every show seems to have at least one 4 star affair or more. The style they produce is this great catch style involving Gulak, Busick and Thatcher that is out of this world great. Last weekend I watched EVOLVE 47 live and it had a top 5 mach of the year for me so far between Thatcher and Sabre Jt as well as another great match between Chris Hero and Mike Bailey. I know they don't run as many shows as other companies, but the ones they do are outstanding. What does everybody else think of EVOLVE? How does it rank with the other indies?

ROH vs. NXT
They also need to fix their TV taping schedule. We should not be seeing TV taped before a ppv, two weeks after the ppv is over.

HIMYM reference makes me happy.

ROH vs. NXT
I really feel like it's some kind of test in Vince McMahon's mind. Triple H will not be deemed ready to take over the WWE until he can prove that he can run other promotions out of business like he did. NXT is using a lot of the same tactics the WWF did to go national.

ROH vs. NXT
I have only watched ROH TV for the last few months, but I think there build to matches has been pretty lackluster. Nothing comes close to the Bayley vs Sasha build.

When did home video releases start up?

ROH vs. NXT
NXT is a better product as it builds up matches more and reigns in a lot of the indy bullshit that ROH lets run wild.

Everyone makes some good points. Maple Leaf Wrestling will keep pushing the boundaries of pro wrestling. Sometimes it will work and sometimes it will fail. Stay tuned.

Kris would like feeback on the latest Maple Leaf Wrestling show in the MLW Results thread. I would be curious too... it's a bizarre match. Was it overkill?

NWA Canadian Champion Rick Martel vs ???? if we can get Ric Flair, that would be ideal. If not I can send in Ivan Koloff.

Thanks man. It's a nice read. Hogan and Road Warriors are being dealt with very well! I figure what people are reading here are reviews that appear on websites. Most sites don't do word for word promos, just what they talk about. That and I am lazy.

The reason it's just in-ring and not total package, is because if it was total package, Flair curbstomps all as the only guy who is in both the GOAT in-ring and GOAT promo conversations. I don't think there is any peer when it comes to everything. Flair's a better in-ring worker than Dusty, Rock, Austin, Piper, Foley etc. and a better talker than any US-based worker with a big rep you care to name (Steamboat, Benoit, Angle, HBK, Eddie, Bryan, Rey, etc. etc.), and the Japanese guys we don't know about as promos. I think Flair is so far and away in front the number 1 in terms of total package, that it would seriously detract from there being any point in running the thing. I don't include promos for this reason, but in ring charisma certainly helps a candidate.

Your Wrestling Pet Peeves/Utter Hatreds
I think she's easily just as technically proficient and crisp as either one of them, yes. There really isn't anything special about either Balor or Neville when it comes to crispness or technique though, so it's not really saying all that much to say she's better than them. 100% agreed. Sasha blows those two out of the water. Heck even Becky is way better.

Ring of Honor Wrestling
This is an awesome post. Now, if we can get Johnny to start criticizing the shitty WWE stuff, the transformation will be complete. I'm working on it on This Week in Wrestling podcast.
