Well I'm in total agreement there. Which is why I don't understand the "habit" excuse of watching Raw. I can see wrestling as a habit but why is Raw a habit? You can just as easily get your "Monday night wrestling fix" in a myriad of other, better ways. I agree, I don't get it. However I see people say that all the time.
  2. If that happens then Vince is more out of touch than I thought and it would ruin the current joy I am having with the WWE. Let's hope this is false.
  3. Since when does Cena not go for those split reactions? Cena does not struggle to get the crowd to react the way he wants, because they react the way he wants already.

Maybe not here but there is a large number of people on the internet who do. And force themselves to watch the full 3 hours live so they can all get together and circle jerk about how awful it is in a chat or forum. Do I give a shit about other forums? No, I only go to pwo and that is not why people watch Raw here. Clearly people who would shit on it each week, don't watch and watch stuff they enjoy instead.
  5. Funny on Smackdown they needed Prime Time Players to have a partner to take on A New Day and who did they come up with? Mark Henry of course. I have no problem with Henry in this, because he is awesome and so are the teams, but it's kind of funny.

Let's not go crazy here. It was a pretty good Raw, yes. However, was it a greatest Raw of all-time? Not even close. Also, the reason there is no thread is because someone posted about this week's Raw in this thread, instead of starting a new one. It has nothing to do with the quality of the show. People don't watch for the sole purpose to complain, they watch out of habit and out of love for wrestling.
  7. I'll take Abby from 28-31 and Hansen from 30-31
  8. Is anyone available October 31st?
  9. All I have is a few week feud to help establish Leo Burke as the next mega star in Canada. He'll get some big time TV doing promos. Probably some kind of fun video skit as well.
  10. I think when people are fighting for the love of the WWE or impressing the fans it is hard to be attached then when people are fighting for revenge for a championship.

I never thought about that before, but that is probably pretty true. What a weird thing, not be able to work short matches well when longer matches are so amazing by him.
  12. When I saw this post I thought Parv was making a case for Brisco at number one. Since I can't make it at that time, is there a link to watch this match some other time?
  13. Do I get them or not?
  14. I can't wait till September where I have a show every Friday to Tuesday.
  15. Martel is becoming one of the true top stars in wrestling in 1983! Keep it up!

  20. Thanks, I really need to listen to this. I really want to hear about this Quebec and New Zeland days.
  21. I tried to find that, but had trouble on youtube. Yes, everybody should watch it for sure. I'm going through a more detailed watch for myself and I am very high on the stuff. That Galactica-Jaguar match is so great. I have never seen a small cut on the leg being worked like that before. The point where Galactica enters the ring covered and blood and both are having trouble standing due to exhaustion is pro-wrestling!
  22. Finally got to Ibushi-Shibayata and for two guys I generally really enjoy, this did nothing for me. The section people talk about was awful, but up to and after that point I wasn't too into this either. This was your fighting spirit special contest and I am sick of those. I hit you, you hit me back and so on and so forth. Look at how tough I am. There was things I enjoyed, maybe 3 3/4 or something.

Where will Cesaro be at Mania nect year? If it's not a top match, like I suspect, then this isn't the coming out party we hoped.
  24. I am going through joshi just like I am for the men's All Japan for the Excite Series and just watched this match. Holy shit did I love this. Most of the Toyota I have seen was a Japanese women version of Kurt Angle, all awesome spots and athletics and not much substance (at least that is what I remembered) and damn this match an the other 1990 mach I watched tells me otherwise. She works the arm like a beast. The ripping of the cast, the tenacity was so great. The few dives and moonsault she did completely worked with trying to finish Hokuto off. Then after Hokuto's dive (who did a great job selling the arm all match) Toyota's leg injury got re-activated and she had to sell the leg great as well. I was so into this match and it is something you can show to anyone who is on the fence about joshi. 4 1/2 stars, just killer stuff!
