PWSS54 Rick Martel Running with the GOATs (Steven, Tim & Parv)
http://placetobenation.com/pro-wrestling-super-show-54-rick-martel-running-with-the-goats/ Steven Graham and Tim Livingston are joined by Parv to look at Rick Martel against some of the Greatest of All-Time including: Nick Bockwinkel, Harley Race, Buddy Rose, Ric Flair, Stan Hansen and Terry Funk. Not only do we discuss the matches, but we talk about where Martel rates all-time. We compare him to Ricky Steamboat as well as the other greatest babyfaces in history! Also we break down the utterly bizarre racist Bill Clinton impersonator. Watch the matches for yourself and follow along at home here: Don’t forgot to donate money to the Toronto Zoo here.

Bull Nakano
I have LOVED every Bull match I have seen, but the amount I have seen is pretty low. Can anybody make a watch list for her?

1983 Project General Chatter Thread
On a side note, what is everybody's thoughts on gimmick matches and angles being used here from real life. War Games was invented in 87, so if somebody would do one before hand it would feel weird. Probably the first War Games should be in whatever promotion Dusty is in in the summer of 87. It's either weird stuff like that or are we doing complete anarchy? Can Parv run a Royal Rumble in January of 84 for example? Same thing with angles... is anybody thinking of recreating something or is everybody going to put enough spin on it to make it their own?

1983 Project General Chatter Thread
I'm the only one that would love major re-shaking every once in a while. Even if it's yearly. I think it would add a nice wrinkle. For exmaple there is some wrestlers that will stay in a territory forever, but others won't. I know a lot of deals will be made, but for some guys to be static in a single promotion seems wrong to me. I won't push for the six months, but I will bring this back up in June.

Chris Benoit
What are the great post Angle feud matches?
-
Chris Benoit
Exactly. He is super over-rated because he seemed like he was working a legit style compared to others in the 1990's. I think you can blame a lot of the bullshit no selling, finishers meaning nothing WWE style on him. Remember Kurt Angle was actually a good wrestler until he faced Benoit a lot. For the worse example look at RR vs Angle for a complete shit match where it was all over indulgence exhibition bullshit. I think Benoit died before the true backlash against him started and I think it was only a matter of time.

MACW on Tour July 1983
I will love for people to compare/contrast the two MLW/Mid-Atlantic shows.

Anyone here getting TripleMania on PPV?
Will this be available online, b/c I don't have cable? I really enjoy this card and it has potential.

All Japan Pro Wrestling on NTV
You said earlier some of this was real matches mixed in? That's a cool concept that I would I could do. I am looking forward to where this is headed and when it starts to veer off real life more.

NWA Board of Directors
As President of Midget Operations Jack Tunney will make sure the midgets are booked in a fair manner. On a side note, check out the last great show from Maple Leaf Gardens where Little Tokyo escape with his title with the use of salt. Tiger Jackson has demanded a rematch and will get that in the near future.
