Although the money is made with Martel, Valentine, Wahoo, Khan, Koloff and the Leo Burke/Rocky Johnson team, we need some guys to put over the talent and keep the undercard fresh. Although we do have two of the major house shows cards being filled up by other promotions (Montreal/WWF). The minis can only cover so many matches.

Can I assume Kris, Parv, Jesse Ewiak, Punk, Brian all want in on handling freelancers?

Parv, people love hearing you talk about Ted. Plus we can have a suits vs ropes debate segment.

Michaels before his comeback was pretty good and then when he returned (got older) he stunk. I think Stevens probably had that. While he was athletic I am sure he was pretty awesome, once he started to lose his athleticism he stunk.

I assumed Pete meant the whole package, not just in ring. If Pete agrees to these terms then we are set for July.

So is Michaels and Angle. They both stink.

I haven't watched much Stevens, but I am suspicious. I feel like he is treated the same way Angle and Michaels are by wrestlers.

So what? How does it not make great matches and story telling? I think the finish is a large part of a match. Variable how much and I've always wondered just how much a great finish can add to a good match or similarly a poor finish take away from what was to that point a great finish. Where the finish is weak that takes away from the match for me. Your list happened to highlight just how often Hart went to the same well. I enjoyed some of those finishes when they happened, while others (Piper, DBS, KOTR '93) took away a great deal from the solid work that led up to them. While I thought those finishes were great and made the match better.

So what? How does it not make great matches and story telling?

I still have a huge list of acceptable undercard talent, even though I am sitting out of round 9-10. My top of the card is set, my money is made. No big deal for the rest if it isn't great. Plus remember my Maple Leaf Gardens shows has two WWF matches on them and my Halifax Forum show is half Montreal talent. No need for a super deep talent pool in Toronto.

That really is quite a lot of fluky finishes. Wonder why he went to the same well so often. Pardon? How many types of finishers are there then? Fluky? Clean? Cheap? I would say fluky is the least likely of those. Also, it wasn't so much fluky as more outsmarting.

Which is my way of saying I would love to have Little Tokyo and the NWA Midget's Title as a mainstay in Maple Leaf.

Been busy and haven't re-watched yet. Will do ASAP.

Up to whoever is in control that month. If they say take the minis as a whole, then that is your option. I say we let the person in control have a lot of leeway.

Somehow by we get to Mania next year Cena might be into top 25 easily.
