  1. Parv and I argued with Kris about picking Hansen and using him like Andre between Japan tours. Kris shot us down and said he is a freelancer. Oh, okay. I though i had missed the announcement of that. I think it was a facebook argument.

Do I draft him or is he free? Is there any announcers available besides him?

I see Billy Red Lyons is available to draft, but isn't he the announcer for Toronto? Do I not have an announcer? Also, anybody know who the refs or other announcers were in Toronto in 83?
  5. I have some big Wahoo plans, especially if you like Wahoo-Valentine beating the shit out of each other.
  6. Him and Koloff both. Let the blood reign down on Carleton Street!
  7. DENUCCI IN A HEAD DRESS PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!! No Jay Youngblood?
  8. A base of Martel, Wahoo and Valentine, Koloff is a great 1983 starting roster, I think.
  9. I hesitated on Muraco, thinking he would drop. Never again, every pick is who I want the most, and it doesn't matter where I think they will be drafted. I'm glad this strategy worked out.
  10. Let's be honest, you were just screwing with me. WAHOO was my pick and I stand by it. First Nations people make up quite a bit of the population, he has been here due to Mid-Atlantic, he's a great worker and can mentor some of the younger kids who will come around. Wahoo for the win, baby!
  11. Jack Tunney walks up, does a war cry and screams "WAHOO F'N MCDANIELS!" and walks off stage.
  12. Just to make it easier for me to sleep tonight, if I passed on Koloff on my last pick would he still had been there for my current pick?
  13. It's so hard to ignore the upcoming future in this.
  14. What are the chances somebody steals my next pick?
  15. It's like judging the NHL draft right after instead of waiting a bunch of years, it's hard to know. Some picks now might seem weird but will become clear later on. Some people value different things in their promotion, etc...
  16. Since a lot of people went now before I could get them, that means others have great choices. I don't think 1 WWF guy drafted was on my list.
  17. Patera gone ruins my Patera/Bad News Allen dream Olympian bad ass tag team! There were going to be the dominate heels.
  18. I'm still reeling. The one thing I knew coming out of this was that I would have Valentine, Martel and Muraco to build around. Now I am so out of it.
  19. HOW THE FUCK DID I MISS OUT ON MURACO????????????????????????
  20. I wish I could had brought in Kamala, but I don't think he would fit with my long term vision. Maybe a couple month trade later on though?

I know everyone is wanting to get started ASAP but with 18 people in the draft in different time zones & different continents there's probably just no good way to get it done faster. I'd rather everyone be get their chance to draft and possibly have to push back the July, 1st start date rather than try and rush it through. I will run my July 1st show even with less talent. By that point it will only be low undercarders left so if they get added later it's cool. EDIT: I assume things will be faster on the weekend.

10 hours.. consequence is the next person can start picking and the draft continues. You can still make your pick asap, but you get bumped down the draft order until you are ready. Page one of this thread has the rules, but: Picking your Talent: 1) There will be a snaked draft from the remaining available talent. 2) It will be done on the board. 3) Once a pick is made, the person on the clock has 10 hours to pick. if they miss their 10 hours then the next person can pick and the person who missed their pick can insert their pick ASAP (like the NFL draft, put 10 hours instead of 6 minutes) 4) If you pick a tag team you forfeit your next pick. Although, feel free to pick only one member of a tag team. 5) You can pick any available talent (ie everyone on the list, minus the freelancers). 6) Draft goes until all talent is picked or people drop out (Maybe a max roster of 32)
  23. If you were to ask me if I wanted to watch an Austin or a Michaels match I have not seen, I pick an Austin match every time. When people are talking about criteria for voting for GWE, well a lot of mine comes down to that. Now, how I decide which I would rather watch is based on a lot of things.
