Draft & ongoing booking project interest?
Is that necessary or can someone just draft a team and then have others confirm they were a regular team by the date?

WWE TV 5/25 - 5/31/15
The only problem is it takes way the biggest factor in drawing, anticipation.

When did the world learn to stop worrying and love the Earthquake?
Did I miss it and Tim became a regular co-host? The goal is to get Tim on every episode and I try to work around his schedule. There could be a rare episode where he isn't there the whole thing and just joins me for the Earthquake match though. He's pretty busy in the summer.

Memories from the video rental store
We had a Max Movies at the edge of town, where you would take the metal tag to the cash and they would grab the VHS tape from the back for you. My Dad would take me every few weeks or so and let me rent one movie, which was mostly wrestling but sometimes the Transformers movie. The selection was the WWF ppvs and CHV. My favourite thing was renting the "Best of the WWF" series. There was also one PWI in Japan tape, which included New Japan matches with the likes of The Barbarian, Jimmy Snuka, etc.. with Gordon Solie announcing. The worst was me waiting for WrestleMania 5 to come so badly! My Mom was so nice and picked it up for me the day it came out on her way home from work. One problem, she grabbed a Beta copy......

When did the world learn to stop worrying and love the Earthquake?
If I was in control I would had had Bossman/Tenta as the tag champs into of Shamrock/Bossman. Bossman & Tenta destroying everybody would had been awesome. I dunno Steven. I know you love your nostalgia but geez..... Actually, another point - was there ever a time when mainstraem US wrestling styles changed as much in 7-8 years than say, 1988 to 1996? I can't imagine any headliner from 2006-07 - or quite a bit earlier, having difficulty fitting in today - Jericho, Rock, HHH get away with it. Is Bossman/Tenta worse than Bossman/Shamrock? 83-90 was just as much. So was 73-80. I think the better question may be was there ever a time with less change than 2003 and on?

When did the world learn to stop worrying and love the Earthquake?
I've always been a big fan. Growing up, fat wrestlers are some of the wrestler I feel the most nostalgia for. However, I really started to appreciate him while watching a bunch of Big Bossman matches and his series with Earthquake produced some really good matches. Watching those you start to notice how great Earthquake was at playing his role and all the cool little extra stuff he did in matches. From slowing stepping on people to throwing them off and then flexing. Great stuff. The love will continue as Tim and I will be live-watching a Earthquake match on each and every Pro-Wrestling Super Show! I may had come up with the idea to do it once, but Tim begged me to make it a fixture of the show.

Draft & ongoing booking project interest?
So, let's recap where we are at: 1) We draft out the promotions and you keep the owner, announcers and 1 piece of talent. 2) There is a draft of all remaining talent, where if you pick a tag team that exists as of 1/1/83 than you forfeit your next round pick. 3) Each promoter runs a weekly tv show (in real time) and as many major shows as they want. 4) Every promoter who runs a NWA company gets a vote on who is the NWA Champion and gets to bid for dates with that champion. 5) Talent trades are acceptable. 6) Every six months there is a dispersal draft of some sort. 7) Some kind of random injury draw will happen. To figure out is how to exactly deal with Japan tours and wrestlers who are freelancers. Am I missing something?

That's a good rule, actually.

Charlotte vs The Miz
You would take Miz over Charlotte when building a company?

Women in the WWE
What cost? Time, so you take 5 minutes away from a midcard act he doesn't care about and give it to the divas. Effort? Sure, the effort of going from treating women like a bathroom break to treating them like a viable part of their roster. What is the risk? Will people really turn off, if matches like the ones on the NXT specials are on the WWE specials and are taking up that much time? Will people turn off a 3 hour Raw if the women's match is treated with more respect and gives the women a chance to have good matches? What is the real risk of the WWE main show treating women like the way NXT treats their women?

Women in the WWE
Getting women who watch films but who don't tend to watch action films is one thing, getting women who watch TV but aren't really into sports period let alone wrestling is an entirely different proposition. Then asking them to sit around for 2 hours while they wait for the one woman they are cheering for to come on. THEN wanting them to pay money for a ticket to a live show or sign up to the network. It's a huge ask. I think Mad Max: Fury Road is a better example. Hunger Games had Jennifer Lawrence who is beloved by all, a love story and stems from a young adult series which is beloved. Girls seeing that is not a big leap. However, Mad Max: Fury Road's success is amazing. Here we have a movie based on a 30 year old Australian movie series that is pure action. The former star is insane and hated by most and it's essentially a 2 hour long car chase movie. However, it's being billed as feminist movement and has a lot of those tones. What has happened? Major success. If my wife will go and see a Mad Max movie and then will want to see it again, then anything is possible.

This is only a starting point though. You are then faced with the problem of how to try to get fans of Hunger Games or Jennifer Lawrence who aren't wrestling fans to become interested enough in wrestling to the point where they are willing to spend money. Which is a very difficult proposition. Then you look at the time and effort required to do that and you look at the projected extra revenue that would come in if it pays off. Then you do a cost-benefit analysis and work out whether it is worth trying to make a wrestling-version of a Jennifer Lawrence. If you are Vince, do you go for it? Doesn't seem that compelling to me. Hunger Games got girls who weren't fans of action movies to see them. It's not about getting hunger games fans, it's about giving women someone to cheer for.

Charlotte vs The Miz
In the Women in the WWE thread, Badlittlekitten keeps stating that all divas are worst than The Miz (except Sasha). What does everybody else think?
