Current WWE
was a rematch from the previous month? Heck, run anyone vs Lesnar with Cena in their corner if that helps. Dolph w/ Cena vs Brock or Mark Henry w/ Cena vs Brock or Sheamus w/ Cena vs Brock all would had drew just as well and not ruined the SummerSlam story and made the Rumble match better. The Rumble match is now not a big deal, because of NOC.
-
Current WWE
It's really baffling (well, not really) that Cena had the rematch at NOC. It got crushed at SummerSlam and they should had built to the Rumble rematch. Brock destroying anyone else in September would had been more interesting and less stale feeling.

Wrestlemania XXXII - Thinking Ahead
Sorry, 31, didn't read title well enough. Man, 32 is so far off, hard to predict. Taker in HOF, Austin involvement are good bets. Anything outside of that would be silly to predict. What I would love is for Rusev to be the dominant heel champion for at least ten months coming into this.

Wrestlemania XXXII - Thinking Ahead
Prediction: Reigns-Lesnar Rollins-Orton Cena-Rusev Sting-HHH Taker-Bray I nly want to see Cena-Rusev out of that.

The Minis Thread
Life and the 97 yearbook distracted me from this thread, but a minis match popping up on the 97 yearbook made me pretty happy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cv8PKmlJGKQ Cicloncito Ramirez vs Damiancito el Guerrero (CMLL 1/7/97) Ok, this is a must watch and the best match I've seen since I started this thread. The matwork is out of this world smooth. When they hit high spots, they are amazing, including two of the best topes I have ever seen. The third fall is one of the best final falls I have seen and was so great, I rewound and watched again. I loved this match and will re-visit it again. Just perfect lucha title match wrestling. **** 1/2

Wrestler Snapshot (Which nominees to focus on?)
For 15, I was thinking of Tracy Smothers, Bull Nakano or Shinya Hashimoto? Who should take the last spot or do you have a better suggestion?

Dave Meltzer stuff
I'd love to hear Dave talk again broach the subject of reevaluating old footage. Since World launched that's pretty much all he's been doing. It's a pretty seismic shift from someone who once directly told me that reevaluating old footage was a waste of time because you have to be in the moment to get a match. Not this shit again. He doesn't believe in rerating old matches, because he believes in sticking with the rating he gave it in the moment, which is perfectly reasonable and makes a ton of sense, yet is constantly misinterpreted by some here. This has nothing to do with rewatching old matches, and *gasp*, enjoying them. Actually it's insane. Imagine if movies, paintings and music couldn't be re-evaluated? It's a Wonderful Life would be a nothing movie nobody would watch, if that was the case.

The European Title
Instead of the European Title, they should really make either a Network Title (Title only defended on the Network) or an Online Title (all matches posted to youtube).
-
The European Title
That was D-Lo. The Euro title never meant anything. It's been a one match (Owen vs Bulldog in Germany) title. Nah, I'm pretty sure that was Al Snow. He came out to several themed European stereotypes or whatever. He may have, but D-Lo did it first.

Who are the top 10 lower mid-carders in history?
It doesn't matter in a sense that I don't take it into consideration when ranking guys. Although it matters in a sense that being in the main event alters what they did.
-
Who are the top 10 lower mid-carders in history?
I still don't get this. Card placement matters for the main reason is opportunity. Main Eventers get more opportunities to have big matches at the top of the card, but why is that relevant? Nobody is ranking Triple H above Psicosis, for example. Nobody is ranking Great Khali at all or Sid, while we have threads discussing Jim Brunzell and Brad Armstrong. Sure, the top guys on the list may be at the top of cards, but who cares? It doesn't mean that being at the top of the card means you get placed above people on lower cards. I'm confused.
-
Who are the top 10 lower mid-carders in history?
Depends on the person. Regal is great, but Triple H sure had a lot more opportunities to look great.
-
Who are the top 10 lower mid-carders in history?
The list will be skewed towards main eventers, because they have more opportunities to have great matches.

Keep them coming, there are lots of guys on this list I would had never thought about.

[1997-01-06-WWF-Raw] Bret Hart vs Vader
Baby face Shawn is the WORST! It's too bad Bret & Vader never had a long singles match, because it could had been awesome. I do appreciate that Sid took the camera man to the back, thus giving a reason for one to be back there. So much better than the current WWE cameras are everywhere style.

[1997-01-06-WWF-Raw] Shawn Michaels and Sid
"When I was born, I was born the man" is such a cool and awesome line. I loved Sid's promo, but then HBK comes out and this shit falls apart.

[1997-01-05-LLPW-Live Battle] Megumi Kudo vs Shinobu Kandori (Street Fight)
Definitely a fun brawl that I enjoyed, but I had it around 3 3/4. Some of the spots (like the hanging and crowd brawling) felt like they should feel more epic than they felt. It kind of felt like a fun match that could had been great with maybe some backstory I am missing or just something.

Punk to UFC
It certainly gives Punk lots of material for promos.
