A little too much Parv talk on the episode, but what can you do. I'm just happy I got to talk about Muraco, Demolition and Fuji!

2014 Wrestling Observer Hall of Fame thread
Sorry to sound like a broken record, but this thread/post (http://wrestlingclassics.com/cgi-bin/.ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=7;t=000499;p=0) lists everyone who has been on the ballot and fell off. So if the wrestler is not on this list, nor is currently on the ballot or has been elected, they have never been on the ballot (not counting 1996 charter members and some historical inductees). Never saw that link before. So, neither have ever been on the ballot. That is crazy to me. Neither are locks, but they are better picks than some on there.

Has Rick Martel ever been on the ballot or Greg Valentine?

Kurt Angle
In January I did a list of the best 25 matches in the history of the Royal Rumble. I left this match off the list. The result was getting lambasted all over the internet for that list, because I left off that match.

Nominate him. The reviews are in the 80's set folder.Their are more than 3 based on Strike Force vs. The Islanders matches. Where's the 80s set folder? Hidden, but he can still be nominated.

Current WWE
Is it any better than some viral social media fund and awareness raising drive? Though yes the pink products is over the top, plus Komen has been under fire lately for apparantly not keeping with the liberal pro-choice agenda. At the risk of crossing the "Pro Wrestling Only" line, the issue with Komen has nothing to do with liberal or conservative, it's more along how only a small percent of the sale of pink products actually go toward research, and they've gotten flack for partnering with companies whose products are known carcinogens. Plus a lot of the campaigns come off as companies (like WWE) pandering to women. I'll cop to being too lazy to go do the Googling for you, but I assure you it's more than dirty librulz who have an issue with them. http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/02/08/us-usa-healthcare-komen-research-idUSTRE8171KW20120208 This is an article that breaks down the charity and their finances. In 2011 15% went to research. Not too bad, since they spend very little to administration and a lot goes to education. It's not as horrible as you seem to imply.

Well, I guess I'll have to work it into the schedule somehow.

The deadline
All points on both sides. We are sticking with 2016, just so it can be 10 years since the last poll. WrestleMania was picked, because that is the peak of interest for people in wrestling through the year. Obviously, if we need to, I would be ok in extending this to later in the year. Of course this isn't going to be definitive. If you gave us 20 years, we would still be missing on gaps, because of new found footage and new wrestling happening daily. I like the idea of re-visiting in 2026.
