Funny that Punk and Bret are two of my favourite wrestlers of all-time. Add in Muraco, who is the same way.

If I was voting for personal favourites my top 5 would be: 1. Bret Hart 2. Randy Savage 3. CM Punk 4. Don Muraco 5. Jushin Liger Obviously that is not the way I am voting. I think people can recognize who is the best, even if they like something else better.

I think we'll do a few of these versus threads as the project continues, but this is one that a few people have commented on. So, make your case. Bobby or Ricky?

One match that I thought was outstanding and a surprise great match was the Royal Rumble match from 2010 against The Undertaker for the World Title. A spectacular performance, where Rey looked like he belonged. A stark contrast from the Kevin Nash matches.

Although he may not be the best of the All Japan guys, he is my favourite. I'll do a 1990's All Japan re-watch before we vote, so we'll see how high he can go. Early prediction 25-50.

What happens if he is the best wrestler in the world, again, in 2015? Is that enough?

Well he will have 2015 as well, to help his case. I don't see myself voting for him, unless 2015 is out of this world. I don't think he's the best wrestler of 2014, either. Not even the best New Japan guy.

Sorry, but I meant to nominate Brazo de Oro. I'll add him later, as well.

He does have the great matches, that's for sure. I think the argument for him is the small things he does. His character work is tremendous in the ring.

I'm looking forward to that. Bock is someone I would consider as well, but I didn't think of him for top 5. Please make that case.

I really want to find a way to get Haku onto my list. The Islanders stuff rules and I enjoy the Meng run a lot. I'll need to re-watch some stuff, but on an initial look I don't think I can justify it.
