  1. Thanks to everybody for their enjoyment of this show. Part two will be up on Wednesday and the matches are: 4. vs. Ric Flair (11/06/85) 5. vs. Randy Savage (6/25/88), MSG, WWF 6. Toshiaki Kawada & Akira Taue vs Stan Hansen & Ted DiBiase (9/3/93)
  2. Click here I like making lists of top matches. This is what I got for the first half of this year. With links to Japan and Mexico matches. Check it out.
  3. He started being pretty solid in 2004, but I think 2006 is when he got really actively good. The Rey series, that battle royal for the title. That run.
  4. What he was getting at is that Regal and Henry are guys with very different styles and skills, and Christian is so good he can have good matches with anyone. Fair enough, my rage of hearing Regal and Henry's names as guys you had to pull good matches out of might had blinded me.
  5. Listening to the Christian interview, Jericho remarks that sure he had great matches with Randy Orton, but you pulled out great matches with guys like Mark Henry and Regal. WTF?
  6. Also, tomorrow I record a wrestler snapshot on Ted DiBiase with Parv and Will. So, it will be 7 hours long or something. I decided, to make it more awesome, we will answer every question you can throw at us about DiBiase. Plus, one more not about DiBiase. So, if you ever wanted to Parv or Will to answer any question about DiBiase, this is your chance.
  7. Click here In the July 9, 2014 episode of the Pro-Wrestling Super Show Steven Graham is joined by Kris Zellner (of Pro Wrestling Only) & Matt Foyerstein (of List ‘Em and Learn) to give their top 6 lists for dream tag teams. They answer the listener question of the week and give their recommendations. Just a note, a dream tag team is a team that did not exist in our reality.
  8. Chad, you are totally invited to be on the Hardcore Heaven show when Ben and I record in August.
  9. Going to record another show tonight, a top 6 list on Dream Tag Teams with Kris Zellner and MFoy. If you have a question that you want answered, post it here. We'll answer anything.
  10. Everybody let me know how it sounds, I tried to get my voice closer to the Ben & Dave's voice with some editing.
  11. Click here. On this week’s Super Show, Steven Graham is joined by Ben Morse (of P2BN’s Main Event & Marvel.com) and Dave Musgrave (of the Wrestling Culture podcast) to open up the Extreme Vault for this first time to discuss ECW Barely Legal. As always we give our recommendations. Remember to subscribe and rate in iTunes and to follow the Pro-Wrestling Super Show on tumblrfor great content that goes along with the show.
  12. Current Favorite Wrestler To Watch: Luke Harper He's the all around package and is having awesome matches every chance he gets. It's the little things and he adds a lot of small touches to his matches. Last Fun Match You Saw: Usos vs. Wyatt Family (MITB) I LOVED this match and everybody had their working boots on. Usos are my favourite team and Harper my favourite wrestler. Wrestler You Want To See More Of: Drew Gulak I've watched a handful of matches with him from this year and he looks to be the guy to be the king of the indies going forward. Last Live Show Attended: ROH Global Wars There was some fun elements like seeing Lyger and Nakamura live. A solid and fun show to attend. Match You Are Looking Forward To Watching Soon The Most: Drew Gulak vs. Biff Busick from FIP I need to see this, I might even spend some money. Last Fun Interview/Promo You Saw: Dean Ambrose on Raw after MITB Dean Ambrose is the best promo in the business. Him saying the briefcase doesn't contain a contract, but it contains TNT is the best line of the year. Last Fun Thing You Read About Wrestling: Dylan's TNA Reviews All of them, best stuff on the web since TomK reviewed TNA. Last Fun Wrestling Podcast You Heard: MITB Reaction Show I love hearing all those guys talk about wrestling. Most Fun You've Had Watching Wrestling Lately: MITB Dave Musgrave was over and we watched over tea. A fun time, just making jokes.
  13. Thanks for the comments and I will adjust that for future episodes. Unfortunately I already recorded this week's episode, so it will take some time. Next week we start to go into the Extreme Vault and review the ECW ppvs in order. Next week after that will be a top 6 episode, so hopefully that keeps things spiced up. Actually, I am considering going into a rotation of Week 1: Extreme Vault (ECW PPV reviews) Week 2: Wrestler Snapshot Week 3: Top 6 Week 4: Whatever we feel like that week
  14. I love love love the main event of '89. Heenan's family is the greatest heel team ever. From Arn & Haku being workhorses to Heenan being the perfect chicken shit heel in the corner. Then you have The Rockers and Warrior and even Niedhart as a great babyface team. Just an amazing story through out.
  15. What happened to Western Canada and Ontario?
  16. Click here. On this week’s episode, Steven Graham is joined by Dylan Hales (Wrestling Culture) and Jason Mann (Wrestlespective Radio) to focus the Wrestler Snapshot #6 on “Gentleman” Chris Adams. We also answer the listener question of the week and give our recommendations. A very fun episode this week. Remember to subscribe, rate and review the Pro-Wrestling Super Show on iTunes and to follow the Pro-Wrestling Super Show on Tumblr here.
  17. Click here. On this week’s episode, Steven Graham is joined by Will (of Wrestling with the Past) and Johnny Sorrow (of Titans of Wrestling) to discuss the Clash of the Champions. Although that happens a little, the show has more tangents than a first-year Calculus text book. The crew discuss everything from black wrestlers and fat wrestlers to Val Venis and Vince Russo. If you are looking for a discussion on the Clash of the Champions, look elsewhere. If you are looking for fun, look here. Don’t forget to rate, review and subscribe to the Pro-Wrestling Super Show on iTunes and to follow the Pro-Wrestling Super Show on tumblr here.
  18. I've heard this a lot. Wrestler A is having a great year, look at all these great matches. If wrestler B has another great match in this upcoming bout, then he is a shoe in for wrestler of the year. I understand a lot of people determine that a wrestler's greatness is determined by the quantity of quality matches. However, I never thought about it that way. I look at the performances. A wrestler can be an amazing seller and be great in the ring, but does not have the opportunity to have the great matches. For example, Chris Masters' run on Superstars is considered great by many, however how many great matches did it produce? Just curious on what people's thoughts are on this.
  19. Sorry about the audio issues, but I am glad people enjoyed the concept. Especially since I plan to re-visit it a lot. An episode on Chris Adams with Dylan and Jason Mann (of Wrestlespective) is on tap for two weeks from now. Next week is the promised COTC show with Johnny & Will. So, some good stuff on the horizon.
  20. File currently being replaced, if yours sounds like crap. Re-download in an hour.
  21. Click here. On this week’s episode of The Pro-Wrestling Super Show on The Place to be Nation, Steven Graham is joined by Pete (of Titans of Wrestling podcast) and Scott Criscuolo (of Place to be Podcast, Main Event podcast, and the Extra Point podcast). Finally The Wrestler Snapshot has returned, now in audio form. The Wrestler Snapshot #5 focuses on Chris Jericho. The panel also answers the “Listener Question of the week” and gives their recommendations. You can follow along at home, as the panel discusses these matches. 1) Chris Jericho vs. Lance Storm (Ladder Match, 2/4/94) 2) Chris Jericho vs. Ultimo Dragon (WAR 7/7/95)* 3) Chris Jericho vs. Ultimo Dragon (WCW Bash at the Beach ’97)** 4) Chris Jericho vs. Christian (Ladder Match, WWE Unforgiven ’04)** 5) Chris Jericho vs. Rey Mysterio (WWE The Bash ’09)** * – as seen on the Chris Jericho WWE DVD release ** – as seen on the WWE Network Remember to like, subscribe, rate and review on iTunes (if you want to) and to check out the PWSS on tumblr @ prowrestlingsupershow.tumblr.com.
  22. Looking forward to this. Keep 'em coming, Steve. New episode is just processing on Soundcloud, should be available shortly.
  23. Pete (Titans) and Scott (Place to be Podcast) will be doing the return of The Wrestler Snapshot on Chris Jericho tonight. If you have any questions you can post them here, whether Jericho or not Jericho related. We'll answer anything as the listener question of the week.
