Wrestling With The Past #7
A Triple H show with Scott and Dylan would be epic.

Free TV Match of the Week
Here we are with the "Free TV Match of the Week" voting. This will be a good opportunity, at least for me, to make sure I can watch some of the weekly pimped stuff I may had missed. Like I mentioned before it's by air date and the first week will be short, because I only wanted 2014. Next week will be a proper 7 day week. I left an other option, in case I missed something that you thought was the best. Vote here and post about why you think the match you voted for was the best. I'll update the winner on here when the voting is over. I plan to post these on Friday each week, so you have till then to vote. EDIT: The Match of the week is Negro Casas vs. Titan (CMLL on Terra, 1/3).

WWE Network finally happening
They said they would be adding more content in the future. When they add all the old house shows, MSG, Spectrum, Maple Leaf Gardens, etc... I may never leave the house.

The Wrestler Snapshot #3: Sean Waltman
I always try to pick matches that people probably have not seen. It would be really easy to just talk about matches that we all know, but where is the fun in that?

The Wrestler Snapshot #3: Sean Waltman
I just wanted to promote this article that just got posted: The Wrestler Snapshot #3: "The 1-2-3 Kid" Sean Waltman I try to make a case that Sean Waltman is one of the best wrestlers of the 1990's and most underrated. It's really a shame that he does not get talked about more.

Where the Big Boys Play #57
Oh, still a hell of a lot of better options than what they chose. Hell, there was probably 50 guys in Canada that we haven't heard of that were better than Mantuar and Johnson.

Rumble Rewind (Voices of Wrestling)
I had a lot of fun doing it. There was a surprising amount of stuff to talk about for such a boring Rumble.

WWE Network finally happening
Six month commitment from February 24th means, there is a chance it will run out right before SummerSlam, depending on when SummerSlam is. A smart ploy there.

WWE Network finally happening
Q4 2014 or Q1 2015 most likely. Bullshit. I understand for overseas and stuff, but for Canada. Very frustrating.

WWE Network finally happening
Any word on when this is available in Canada?

Where the Big Boys Play #57
Listening to the show and I got to the question of the show. I am embarrassed by the guys my country choose to represent us. Here is a list of potential Canadians: Dan Kroffatt (Phil LaFon), Chris Benoit, Owen Hart, Keith Hart, Bruce Hart, Ben Bassarab, Leo Burke, Carl Ouellet, Jacques Rougeau, Tiger Jeet Singh, Vampiro, and Biff Wellington. Any two of those guys would had made a better team easily.

Where the Big Boys Play #57
I just finished watching the show and I will give the podcast a listen later (Going to try to do this through out 2014), but here are my thoughts. I really loved the feel of this show. You had the national anthem, a bunch of countries represented in a tournament, sports facts and a cool looking ring. Loved the Starrcade written on the ring posts. The matches were all fun, although sometimes short, they was at least fun things in each contest. Crazy spots like Rocco Rock doing a dive to the floor and being caught in a power bomb. The three matches I would rate were Hansen-Luger (*** 3/4), Doom vs. Horsemen (****) and the tag tournament finals (*** 1/2). I would have the Doom match higher if not for the finish, but what can you do. Like I said, it all had this cool sports feel through out, until the main event. A complete change of pace and really felt out of place on this show. The match was alright, but the angle was too over powering in it. Looking forward to the podcast later today.

TV Recomendations
Week 1 will be from the 1st of January to the 4th, a short week. From there it will be Sunday to Saturday each week. So, that Zayn-Kruger match will count for week 1. I will post the first week's after lucha is posted on Wednesday, because there will be something from that, I am sure.

Daniel Bryan's "Heel" Turn
Double post, sorry.

Daniel Bryan's "Heel" Turn
The Royal Rumble will be the big test I think. It will show where he is headed into Mania.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3
I'm about there and nothing has stood out yet as being particularly good.

Wrestling Culture Episode 53
I just want to saw, great show. John Greed is awesome and everybody should check him out. He'd be perfect in the Wyat Family. I can't wait to see more of him in 2014.

Preferred worker in tag teams
I kind of enjoyed Bart Gunn more than Billy. Billy just seemed a little more silly, while Bart was more straight laced.

1998 Recommendations
I just watched X-Pac vs. The Rock from Capitol Carnage on December 6th. It's a really good match and it shows real well The Rock as a corporate cheating champion. X-Pac is a great babyface in this showing awesome fire and the crowd is crazy hot.

TV Recomendations
In 2014 there will be weekly polls put up where we vote for the best TV match of the week. There will be a poll put up early in the week with the top matches that aired the previous week. This will be a fun project. This thread is here to recommend matches to go on the poll. If you saw a TV match on some random indie on youtube that nobody else saw that you think is up there with lucha and WWE TV, then nominate it so it is at least looked at.

Current WWE
One thing that could be interesting is that Bryan joined the Wyatt family to help him get back at the Authority. There is something like the Wyatts help Bryan in the Rumble and the final two are Bryan and Bray. Bray asks Bryan to leave for Bray to win the Rumble, only for Bryan to throw Bray out and disclose the ruse.

Thanks for the Don Muraco mention, Johnny!

Dustin Rhodes
What if Hogan was brought in as a special attraction. He was already only on about half of the shows. The Flair and Dungeon of Doom stuff could had been without the title and not been the focus of the show. If they did that and made Dustin the champion and the guy there every week, it could had worked.

Dustin Rhodes
Yeah he never would had been as big as Austin but he could had rivaled Sting. Even though the promos were not great his sympathy and charisma in the ring were huge.
