  1. This might sound odd, but I thought Jim Duggan was really great at his one match at WrestleMania 7 that he did. I also thought Hillbilly Jim was really good as a colour commentator on house shows.
  2. Oh shit, I forgot about that. On a later episode we made a Russo only every six episodes rule, for our own sanity after talking about War Games 2000: Russo's Revenge, so we will get to it. WCW doing a ppv in Vancouver was so odd.
  3. One thing that really bothers me is that the lead announcer always has to get in their saying or nickname every time they appear. The worst is for Sasha Banks, where Cole goes "IT'S BOSS TIME!".
  4. That's a great choice. We'll get to it one day! There is a lot to talk about with that match.
  5. It's amazing what having some great matches at Mania and not being around all year long will do to change people's perspective, eh?
  6. Yeah, it's pretty clear the voting was political and not actually the match. The match was bad, but nowhere near the worst of the year.
  7. They had a great song on the album before they got big. I think the song is Leader of Men.
  8. TNA from mid 2005 (when they were off TV) till the last ppv before Bound for Glory in 2006 was great stuff top to bottom. However the ppv before BFG, they had Joe beat Jarrett in a non title match and not just went with Joe, then you had Russo return, Angle, etc... all come in and everything went nuts and fell apart. However, great shit for a year and a half and my favourite promotion at the time, easily.
  9. Added to the list. We have two more episodes already taped and now about 12 requests, so it may take time.
  10. Amazing his grammar improved under the mask.

We just reviewed the first Punjabi Prison match for my Who Booked This? podcast and it's surprisingly a decent match which the crowd is really into. They pop at most things and even get a holy shit chant.
  12. He can be smart about some things and be a horrible anti trans bigot at the same time. He can also be an expert about some academic field and be a horrible misogynist as well.
  13. Thank you! Sounds like the second Punjabi Prison may not be worth it. On like the sixth episode we asked for requests, but that is week's away. We will get to your request in the future!
  14. https://soundcloud.com/prowrestlingonly/who-booked-this-brothers-of-destruction-vs-kronik In the first of our Wrestling Observer Newsletter Awards Worst Match of the Year series, The Golden Grahams head to 2001 to visit the classic between Kronik and the WCW World Tag Team Champions of Kane and The Undertaker. Is it really that bad? What went wrong? Why do we do this show?

He hasn't grabbed the brass ring?
  16. That is a tad bit harsh there. Yes, He overthinks Thing the whole Frozen is Propaganda thing is Very odd. He has an obsession with the Meme that is Cultural Marxism. He is divisive while trying to say he his not. Have you heard what he says about trans people or about how he can't have a debate with a women, because he can't punch him? It's not harsh, he's an awful awful person.
  17. Jim Ross is not a racist, he has black friends.
  18. He's an asshole who tries to hide his bigotry behind faux intelligence. Fuck him.
  19. Never saw it, so going to be something. For you, I have back ups if you've seen it: Deonna Purazzo vs Karen Q in a No DQ match. Love Purazzo and this is a fun little brawl.
  20. We had a lot of fun with it. It was definitely ambitious.
  21. I'll jump back in when you can fit me.
  22. I really hope the off air segments make the upload. Raw had so many and quite a few on Heat were filmed as highlights at times were shown on Raw so no excuses that they didnt film any. I seriously doubt they put up anything but the shows as aired. We could have said the same thing about Raw but they suprised us there. The Raws they uploaded have bonus footage or is the bonus footage somewhere else on the Network. Like if I throw on a Raw from 98, does it have a dark match thrown in or something? A lot of the Attitude Era Raws have an "extra attitude" segment usually just for the live crowd to send them home happy. Interesting, I didn't know that. Thanks. Will never watch those, but cool for those who like that stuff I guess.
  23. Greatest is really dependent on how you define it. Also for companies that have been around forever, they can be great for periods and shit for periods. It's really a difficult question. I would probably say CMLL, since they are the oldest, own their own building and always make money, and have had many many great periods and their down periods are never shitty like most other companies.

  25. Cesaro and Hero are the two that come to mind to me, right off the bat. Both have been great the entire time and have had years as the best in the world.
