Reigns that really hurt or devalued a title
Didn't Meltzer or someone claim last year that the whole "softball" story was bullshit to cover for Sid just being a flake?

[1992-10-31-WWF-Superstars] Bam Bam Bigelow vignette
He had some really fun individual stuff, but for whatever reason they didn't seem to know how to use him. I think they could have had something with him and Bossman after Nailz left if Bossman had stuck around longer than he did.

The most historic night in the history of this great sport
I was 12 years old and well past getting worked up over this kind of thing, but I marked the hell out for the Luger title win. Like jumping around the house excited.

CM Punk: Greatest Promo Ever
I do not understand the "They didn't book this exactly how I wanted, so the story is already deader than dead" attitude. I know some of you just hate current WWE and are going to shit on anything and everything they do, but we're going on two months of quality television at this point. At what point do you stop sitting around waiting to be the first to proclaim that they've fucked things up and start enjoying it?

CM Punk: Greatest Promo Ever
Wasn't it Meltzer who was saying that even before the contract situation came up, Punk was forming a relationship with Vince similar to HBK's, where Vince will run ideas past him before bringing them to the rest of the booking team?

CM Punk: Greatest Promo Ever
Zack Ryder didn't have merchandise until two weeks ago, which is exactly when he was put on tv more regularly.

Whatever the hell is going on with Daizee Haze looking unhealthy
She looked scary at King Of Trios, and that picture from Chikarasaurus Rex looks even worse. Really sad to see. As a side note, Eddie Edwards is looking just as bad these days. EDIT: Def meant Erick Stevens there.

HHH taking over from Vince on RAW
Cena did his job perfectly tonight.

CM Punk: Greatest Promo Ever
Shit, I knew I should have gone to AAW. Was hoping he'd be at the HOF show last night.

CM Punk: Greatest Promo Ever
Why is this being talked about like anyone here thinks it's a shoot?

HHH taking over from Vince on RAW
Dave was amazing before MMA became profitable.

HHH taking over from Vince on RAW
True. Probably a consequence of Dave not knowing how to use a computer.

HHH taking over from Vince on RAW
I've always figured that crap was Bryan.

HHH taking over from Vince on RAW
I guess my assumption is that Trips will be trying to play peacemaker, not instigate a feud with Punk.

HHH taking over from Vince on RAW
I think they definitely stuck the landing tonight. I didn't see that happening.

[1996-01-22-WWF-Raw] Vader vs Savio Vega
I think he would have gone much further if he wasn't so ridiculously out of shape by this point. He had to have been close to 100 pounds heavier than he was 2 years earlier.

[1996-01-10-FMW] Aja Kong vs Combat Toyoda
This is my favorite discovery so far on the set. Really fun match, and it's bizarre how much of the current US indy style owes to this kind of thing.

[1996-01-08-WCW-Nitro] Hulk Hogan & Randy Savage vs Ric Flair & Arn Anderson
This is really fun in contrast to the Billionaire Ted skits airing right before it. That whole campaign just reeks of desperation looking at it now. Hogan and Savage weren't all that old and could still really go. In 1996, their runs on top were within a couple years of where HHH, Undertaker, Rey Misterio, Edge, Big Show and Kane are right now, and while they are getting older, no one really looks at them as old men to that degree. I always liked Hulk in WCW because he was a lot of fun against guys like Flair and Arn. I wish he'd used some of his chain wrestling sequences more often, because he was plenty capable of working that style. The money was in the monster challenger formula, so he didn't get to do this kind of thing very often. It's kind of a shame.
