JvK reviews pimped matches from late 90s-10s
After a quick view on Ditch's list here is a list of 23 matches from 00-06 that I would consider the must see stuff (either because it is that good or it was hyped back then) from that period (probably not complete as I did this in 10 minutes and I haven't seen most of this stuff since it happened): Kobashi vs. Akiyama 12/23/00 Liger & Inoue vs. Kikuchi & Kanemaru 2/17/02 Misawa & Kobashi vs. Akiyama & Nagata 2/17/02 Ogawa vs. Takayama 9/7/02 Takayama vs. Misawa 9/23/02 Misawa vs. Kobashi 3/1/03 Kobashi vs. Honda 4/13/03 Taue vs. Nagata 6/6/03 Akiyama & Saito vs. Kobashi & Honda 6/6/03 KENTA & Marufuji vs. Kanemaru & Hashi 9/12/03 Kobashi vs. Ogawa 11/1/03 Misawa & Ogawa vs. KENTA & Marufuji 4/25/04 Kobashi vs. Takayama 4/25/04 Morishima vs. Ikeda 6/1/04 Takayama vs. KENTA 6/27/04 Kobashi vs. Akiyama 7/10/04 Akiyama & Tenryu vs. Kobashi & Shiozaki 4/24/05 Kobashi vs. Sasaki 7/18/05 Misawa vs. Kawada 7/18/05 KENTA vs. SUWA 9/18/05 Sasaki & Nakajima vs. Kobashi & Shiozaki 11/5/05 Taue vs. Marufuji 3/5/06 Misawa vs. Morishima 3/5/06 There were more junior matches that was hyped pretty much but I don't think you are the guy who would enjoy long Marufuji vs. KENTA matches or MaruKENTA tag matches. Furthermore I did not add any six man tags, mostly because I don't remember which were the great ones.

WWE Network... It's Here
Forgot that UT-Mankind was on the same show. Was this their first match and the one where Foley shockingly went over after Bearer turned on Taker? Yeah, that was good. Bearer turned on Summerslam, though Mankind won after Bearer accidentally (?) hit Taker with the urn.

Back to the Super J Cup(s)
From what I remember Okinawa Pro was promoted by Super Delfin who of course also acted as the ace of the promotion.

The greatest cons in wrestling history
Honestly the whole thing does not sound that bad. I am sure I have attended much more useless seminars (non-wrestling related) that were way more expensive than this one.

The WWE Global Cruiserweight show
I could not agree more. After both guys throwing the worst strikes imaginable (and lots of them) it really felt good seeing Gulak (and to a lesser degree ZSJ) go all out with the stiffness. Daniel Bryan is slowly jumping the shark as a commentator for me. This week he seemed sounded like Gabe in 2004 switching almost randomly between normal speaking and shouting.

Dave Meltzer stuff
He actually also gets press passes for WWE though he rarely uses them. His main argument (which I think is bullshit) for that is that for wrestling reporting being there live has no benefit. Last year at Wrestlemania he only attended as he could watch the show in a skybox and have access to the commentary.

Dave Meltzer stuff
Wasn't the argument more that this is the most likely thing that would happen to him if he would be signed and called up immediately?

WWE Network... It's Here
The PS3 app is a buggy piece of shit. I have already become used to the occasional crash and that shows sometimes don't want to disappear from the "continue watching" list, but for some weeks the thing has become much worse. Now sometimes when I start the application the "continue watching" list is just plain empty, sometimes a restart of the the app helps, currently it does not. In addition I have also seen shows that I have never watched or that I finished watching months ago appear at the top of the "continue watching" list. That the whole thing usability-wise lacks the most obvious features (like list WWE shows in a chronological order) I probably don't have to mention.

The WWE Global Cruiserweight show
Ibushi's german suplex looked much more dangerous than the brainbuster.

The WWE Global Cruiserweight show
I actually prefered Tajiri vs. Metalik, Ibushi vs. Alexander was too spotastic / near fall-tastic for my taste.

WWF TV Aug 8-14
I remember Meltzer bringing that up.

Ryback & WWE part ways
They really asked for the Goldberg chants by giving him the "feed me more" catchphrase which resonates with "who's next?" a bit too much.

The WWE Global Cruiserweight show
Not being polished is putting it very lightly. He looked like a guy on a 2002 ROH Boston undercard.

The WWE Global Cruiserweight show
That Kenneth Johnson guy might have a great story but he was by far the worst wrestler in the tournament so far. He messed up half of the stuff he tried and stumbled around the ring as if this was his first match. Apart from Johnson I liked the second week much more than the first week. The crowd was also much more into the show.

Kudos to Bix for the Stringer Bell reference.

Who was that comment about having to be a pharmacist when trying to smuggle drugs into Japan about? The only pharmacist in pro wrestling I can think about is Joe Malenko.

The "choking" section might have been the most disturbing thing I have ever heard on a wrestling podcast and that covers a lot of ground.
