[1997-06-21-USWA-TV] Billy Travis vs Memphis Police in a shootfight
I have never heard about this so let me get this straight: The police arrests Billy Joe Travis during a TV taping, Travis and Luther Biggs during the actual arrest try to make this look like an angle by acting that way, the camera crew decides to shoot the whole thing and they decide to not cut this footage from the show and instead make Brian Christopher take credit for the arrest? Only in wrestling...

[1997-06-23-WWF-Raw] Interview: Hart Foundation
First I wondered why Neidhart was out there until the Hearns thing started. Then it was obvious that he was the "fall guy".

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3
You won't see any Super Smash Brother's mugshot appearing on TMZ, that's for sure. EDIT: or: There might be a universe where Super Smash Brothers mugshots end up on TMZ, but this is not that universe.

Current WWE
So Taker vs. Lesnar (if that's where they are going) going last?

KENTA to WWE?
Yoshi Tatsu actually got a nice push in ECW before it was replaced by NXT. What happened to him afterwards is another story.

KENTA to WWE?
Plus KENTA is not that young to begin with (he will turn 33 this March) and already had some serious injuries.

The Beginner's Guide To British Wrestling
This is great. There was not a scrap of kayfabe here, neither from the speaker nor from the promoter, everyone saying that it is just a "Hetz" (fun).

WWE Network finally happening
That slogan sounds for me like they will go the route of trying to sell the size of their library.

WWE Network finally happening
There are about 10000 Linda McMahon political campaign jokes that could be derived from above sentence.

Wrestle Kingdom 8
That's actually a pretty common spot, at least in lucharesu. In Toryumon this spot happened in almost every multi-man tag team match. Though I agree with you that this is a bad spot (unless it is filled with some comedy like partners lining up on the wrong side of the chain).

WON HOF 2013 discussion
I think the idea with Saito is that he was one of the few Japanese guys who managed to be at least a relevant guy in the US for a significant length of time. Due to that he was idolized by a whole generation of wrestlers. Is Sasaki really a worse HOF candidate than Chono?

WON HOF 2013 discussion
The things I've said in this thread are along the lines of what I've posted for a decade, and I still get a ballot. Dave really doesn't care about people having differences of opinion with him when they submit a ballot. More than that, he's listened when I've suggested someone being put on the ballot, and pinged me a couple of times on wrestlers other people have suggested. John I think he's talking about the 11 people who voted for AJ Styles Bingo! (thought that was obvious, sorry if it wasn't clear)

11 people obviously didn't want to get a ballot next year.

WWE Network finally happening
I completely forgot this survery. This is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen. This makes Dana White and his claim that MMA is "the fastest growing sport worldwide" for I don't know how many years seem pretty reputable.

[1992-02-14-CMLL] Bestia Salvaje vs Huracan Sevilla (Hair vs Hair)
They completely lost me in the second fall with all the heel referee shit. I don't think there is a wrestling gimmick / angle that I hate more than the heel ref. It's usually highly inconsistent (if the ref just wants to screw a guy he can call a finish anytime he likes) and puts the heat on the wrong guy.

The Beginner's Guide To British Wrestling
The difference is that Switzerland never really had a scene (I think that I ready that Lassartesse tried to build something up at one point but failed) while "Heumarkt Catchen" was a fixture in Vienna for 50 years or so.

[1997-06-14-USWA-TV] Jerry Lawler, Jackie Fargo & Brian Christopher
That Fargo bit sounded more like someone doing a podcast gig than a wrestling promo. It was fun and all but it was more like Fargo talking to two old friends (Lawler & Russell) instead of talking to the crowd.
