  1. I'd say it was a mix. Good wrestling and angles
  2. There should've been a WWECW comp
  3. Actually it was more like 00-02. AJ Styles, Jimmy Rave, JerLo, Suicidal Tendencies, TNT, Blackout. Also had Lost Boys, LAZZ, Jeff G. Bailey. Good stuff from top to bottom.
  4. I'd like to watch some Portland as I've never seen any. I think my favorite runs (as a kid) were WWF 94, WCW 97, and ECW 97. I also enjoyed NWA Wildside 99 and MCW 00(?) before it closed shop
  5. What are some of your favorite wrestling seasons? What show and year and why?

  10. Would you guys say that's a solid card? I'm not familiar with the indy guys
  11. Yeah I can't see why he'd agree to work if he knew about the NJPW show in advance
  12. Edit - didn't realize Hoyt represented NJPW. I'm actually not interested in seeing that match
  13. http://midsouthlegends.com because this deserves its own thread and blows away anything WM weekend related Discuss
  14. I think I remember in the days when the WWEClassics crew interacted with viewers that modern/newer wrestling drew a lot more hits than the territories. Those of us who prefer watching old footage are really a small minority. Yes. I have tried many times over to get friends and family members into Mid South, Memphis, AWA, hell even Crockett doesn't always hit. But throw on some awful Nitro or a random Austin segment and instantly everyone is entertained. I have the same problem but I'm in the minority when I say I don't like the Attitude Era. Especially compared to other eras of wrestling that I find way more enjoyable

  16. I'm looking to dive into a career but I'm struggling between Regal and Smothers. I'm leaning towards Regal because I'm not very interested in Tracy's indy stuff at the end of the set, but would anyone recommend Smothers over Regal for any reason?

  18. Troy replied to Matt D's topic in The Microscope
I preferred Dustin Rhodes to Goldust
  19. For the record, who hates SD! Six?
  20. Anyone who "hates" the SD! Six should watch the Death of WCW. I bet there'd be a newfound appreciation then. I can't imagine anyone hating them. Sure you may not have liked some things but to hate them? Crazy

  22. I wasn't sure if it was okay to shill but that comp looks great. I'm looking forward to reliving it
  23. I recommend getting with Will on this topic. I will be soon if you know what I mean..
  24. People talk about how Orton and Bryan aren't draws. It's because WWE has failed to push these guys the proper way. They never really pulled the trigger on Orton going full blown anti-hero. It was all watered down crap. Bryan on the otherhand wins the belt and loses it pretty quickly. WWE does an awful job of building new stars. I'd hate to see where the company would be without Cena because God knows no one else can carry it
