"_______ should have been a top guy"
If Taylor had delivered promos like "I say, I say that Bobby Heenan is about as sharp as a bag of wet mice." , it would have worked. Except that role should have been played by Robert Fuller.

Unacceptable Sloppiness
The squash match with Gary Jackson from 7/4/1992 that I saw courtesy of Rob Naylor and Will gives me nightmares to this day. The most horrifically botched power bomb I have ever seen (yes, even more than Sid in the War Games cage).

Acceptable Sloppiness
There was a match on a Schneider Comp, Gypsy Joe vs. Mighty Inoue (4/27/77) . A complete lack of crispness to it and I loved it, it enhanced the grubby intensity of the brawling.

Jerry Lawler
Dumb question : as far as I know, from his comeback from breaking his leg in 1980 onwards, Jerry Lawler was always a face in Memphis apart from the 89-90 heel turn. Is this correct, or was there any other heel run in Memphis after 1980?

Hey, Buddy Rose! Was that before or after he gave the AWA title to Nick Bockwinkel?

Great Babyfaces and Great Heels: What Makes Them?
This is the exact reason why I consider Arn Anderson one of the two greatest heels of all time ... he could be both a badass and a pussy in the same match, and it always had credibility and it always made sense. The other greatest heel in my view was Tully Blanchard, but it's hard for me to pin down exactly what it does that is so much better than other heels, it is pure emotional. Decades later from the original match and whenever he comes on my TV on a comp, I want to punch him in his smug, stupid face. His very existince makes my blood boil in seething hatred. That is a great heel.

Will and Johnny Arguments
Or the other variation : How many Deadheads does it take to screw in a lightbulb? One to screw in the lightbulb, 3 to tape it, and 10 to follow it around until it burns out.

Will and Johnny Arguments
A perfect metaphor for the entire deadhead experience, I would guess. Nah, my touring days and continued Deadhead existence are a big part of me not completely losing my mind. Shit, today on the job shit was starting to feel over whelming and pissing me off, I put on Dark Star> Playin'> Uncle John's from 10/16/89 and everything was alright. I'm at work so don't have the resources to look that up. A) Venue? and Commercial release or tape trade?

Johnny B Badd / Marc Mero... Time to Revisit his Career
Mero = a better documented Owen Hart?

Sting vs. Lex Luger
I liked Sting's various matches with the Dangerous Alliance as well but ultimately came down for Luger, seemed to have a bit more versatility and I enjoyed his high end matches more.

Johnny B Badd / Marc Mero... Time to Revisit his Career
I remember in one 1991 match with Rex King he broke out a cool reverse-gourdbuster that I have never seen him nor anyone else use again.

Toshiaki Kawada done?
Not trying to make a dig, I love his matches and I have never met the man, does anyone have information as to what his relationships with other wrestlers have been like? I've heard on a couple of different instances that he was hard to deal with (granted, one of those people was RVD and the other I don't remember the specific name so, hey, look, a grain of salt.)

Toshiaki Kawada done?
I've also heard he rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.
