  2. Woo hoo! My boys bring home the win! Great tournament all round, you did an excellent job of writing the differing styles of the different teams.
  3. Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Selland Arena, Fresno, 21st Dean Malenko vs. Silver King Malenko hit a precision dropkick to King's knee and then trapped him in the Texas Cloverleaf to force him to tap out. Silver King was limping as he left the ring. Chris Candido vs. Phil Lafon These two had a technical showdown that had the fans on the edge of their seats that went to Candido after an over the shoulder neckbreaker. The Patriot vs. Doug Furnas The fans were agog as the powerhouse Furnas caught the masked man in a rana coming off the ropes for the win. The Eagle vs. Tracy Smothers Smothers went down to the Screaming Eagle (top rope missile dropkick) and was livid after the match. Billy Gunn vs. Big Juice Gunn was able to survive an early battering from the big man and came back to defeat him with the Sidewinder (Spinning Side Suplex) California Title Match : Steven Regal © vs. Louie Spicolli Spicolli put in a game effort but the champ forced him to tap out to the Regal Stretch
  4. Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Cow Palace , San Francisco, on Pacific Super Cards on ESPN / TSN, 20th Jerry Lynn vs. The Jackal Jerry Lynn was doing well against the masked man when the Jackal threw a handful of red powder in his eyes, blinding him. The Jackal took him down with an inverted DDT and went up top for the Betrayal (flying kneedrop) to steal the win. Brian Lee vs. Barry Windham These two were slugging it out when Undertaker ran into the ring and attacked Lee, resulting in Windham losing by DQ. Windham didn't assist in the attack on Lee, and in fact took issue with Undertaker's unwanted interference. Notably, Paul Bearer was not present for this match nor any of his men's matches yesterday. Looks like trouble in the Neighborhood Of Evil. Shinya Hashimoto & Phoenix Rising (Toshiaki Kawada & Kensuke Sasaki) vs. Brian Christopher & The Midnight Express Hashimoto and Sasaki were able to hold off the Midnights while Kawada hit a high angle belly to back suplex on Christopher for the win. Steve Blackman vs. Buddy Rose Blackman was coming off the ropes for the Running Bicycle Kick but was clobbered from behind by Tina Ferrari. This gave Rose the chance to roll up Blackman with a fistful of tights to steal the pin. Genichiro Tenryu vs. Dustin Rhodes Despite a brave effort from Rhodes, Tenryu took him down with an enzuigiri. Pacific Heavyweight Title Match : Ricky Steamboat © vs. Bam Bam Bigelow Just a week away from his big match with Tenryu, Steamboat took quite a battering at the hands of the Beast From The East. There was a sense that Bigelow was more trying to prove something to himself than the Diamond Exchange and got several near falls on the champ. He was trying to put him away with the Slingshot Splash, but Steamboat still had his wits about him enough to roll out of the way. Steamboat then went up top and hit the Flying Cross Body Press and finally pull out the one two three. Steamboat helped Bigelow to his feet after the match and raised his hand, and the fans applauded both men for their efforts, but DDP was fuming as he led his man from the ring.
  5. Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Oakland Alameda County Arena, Oakland, on ESPN / TSN, April 19th The Undertaker vs. Jonathan Libby Despite a loss to Scott Hall at the end of last year at San Diego Battleground, the Undertaker has continued to be a menacing and terrifying presence in PCW. He was clearly looking to emphasize this point as he brutally stomped down Libby. He easily overpowered and clobbered the rookie, swiftly dispatching him with the Tombstone. Clearly this was too easy for the Dead Man, as he brought a metal chair into the ring and hoisted up Libby one more time, looking to put him out of wrestling for good with a second Tombstone onto said chair. He never got the chance to make this statement, for he was tackled from behind by Brian Lee. The Bulldozer clearly had enough of the Undertaker's bullying and had rushed out to the defense of young Libby. The two men threw lefts and rights before PCW officials finally separated them and ordered them back to their locker rooms. Bret Hart vs. David Young Bret will be facing one of the toughest opponents he has ever been matched with at Vegas Vengeance, but before that, he will have to deal with one tough customer in David Young. The Roughneck has made a big impression in his rookie year and quickly made a name as the point man for the Oregon Wrecking Crew. Young wasted no time in going right after the Hitman, and the two had a hard hitting and aggressive bout. Young tried to go for the Spinebuster Slam, but Hart stopped him with a boot to the midsection and then took him down with a forearm smash to the face. Young fought off attempts to get the Sharpshooter on him, but Bret put him down with a Russian Legsweep and held him down with a double leg cradle for the three count. A disappointing loss for Young , but he can take pride in the fact he gave such a tough fight to one of PCW's top stars. Interview : Don Coss stands in the ring Coss : Ladies and gentlemen , my next guests have, in a short time, become one of the most dominant factions on the West Coast … the Diamond Exchange! There is an air of unease hanging over Diamond Dallas Page, Bam Bam Bigelow, Chris Adams , Mike Enos and Wayne Bloom as they ignore the crowd's boos on the way to the ring. Coss : Before we go further, I just got some breaking news that, at Vegas Vengeance, the Destruction Crew will be defending the Pacific Tag Team Titles against Stormfront. Enos : What? Those idiots again? I am sick of … Bloom : It's alright, Mike, I will handle it. We have no worries about those two jerks. We beat them before, and we will beat them again. Bigelow : Enough of this crap? I want to know what gives! Last few weeks, all of you guys have been giving me the cold shoulder and sticking your nose in my matches. What, don't you trust me take care of things on my own? DDP : Frankly, my brother, no. I brought you into the Diamond Exchange as a fellow Jersey boy, and you made a lot of promises you haven't kept. You were going to run Bret Hart out of the West Coast. I can't help noticing Bret Hart still walking around. Then you were going to take out Shinya Hashimoto. I had to step in to give you that win, and you haven't really appreciated it. In short, you have talked a big game, a game you haven't played. If you don't start delivering soon … well, just so you know, you can be replaced. Bigelow : REPLACED? Who do you think can replace the Beast From The East? DDP : We'll see, baby, we'll see. Until then, you are living on borrowed time, and all eyes are on you. The Dragon Kings (Dragon Azul & Silver King) vs. The Fighting Irish (Fit Finlay & Erin O'Grady) In his short (tee hee) time in PCW, "The Leprechaun" Erin O'Grady has scored some wins but has mostly been taking pinfalls in this early stage of his career. This has not diminished his mentor Fit Finlay's faith in him one jot, and the otherwise belligerent Belfast Bruiser has been an unending fountain of support and encouragement for his young pupil. O'Grady was particularly aggressive in this match, and the Dragon Kings seemed caught off guard by this. O'Grady was able to dodge the Silver Kick from Silver King and catch him in a single leg takedown that got a 2 count. But the big surprise came when Silver King went for the Silver Crash (diving Samoan Drop) and O'Grady was able to avoid it with a slide down and rolled up the luchador to get the win. Finlay full on embraced O'Grady and hoisted him in the air to celebrate his biggest victory yet. Scott Hall vs. Curt Hennig Much like his teammate Barry Windham, Curt Hennig has become progressively more unhinged in the past few weeks. A series of losses has driven him right round the bend, and he has taken his frustration out on his former friend Scott Hall. Hall clearly is not about to put up with this nonsense, and this led to a knock down, drag out brawl that the ref wound up throwing out and declare the match a no contest. This is going to blow up sooner or later, and something tells me that will happen at Vegas Vengeance. Pacific Television Title Match : Brian Pillman © vs. Mark Starr Last week , Mark Starr made his return to both PCW and the Playboy Club, and is already getting involved in their feud with Brian Pillman. Starr was always the workhorse of the Sin City Superstars, and was quite effective as he targeted Pillman's knee, even keeping him in a painful heel hook until he made it to the ropes. The TV champ was made of sterner stuff, though, and was in the middle of his comeback when Buddy Rose, Tina Ferrari and Mike Awesome came to ringside. While Pillman was distracted by this, Starr dropkicked him from behind, sending Flyin' Brian flying out of the ring to the floor. Starr then started arguing with the ref, giving Awesome the opportunity to Power Bomb onto the ringside mat. The ref counted Pillman out, giving the win but not the title to Starr. That didn't seem to bother Starr at all, as he joined his comrades in putting the boots to the felled champion until Bret Hart rushed out with a chair to run the off. The champion isn't looking in too good shape going into Vegas Vengeance.
  6. Love the Surfers tag team with Sandman and Apollo. Can't wait to see what you do.
  7. We are now a week and a bit away from the next PCW Mega Show, Vegas Vengeance, and PCW has some big things planned. Not only will there be the traditional annual Moondog Lonnie Mayne Memorial Tag Team Tournament, but we have two big main events ready to announce. Here they are : Night One Pacific Television Title Match : Brian Pillman (c) vs. Buddy Rose Night Two Pacific Heavyweight Title Match : Ricky Steamboat (c) vs. Genichiro Tenryu
  8. The Destruction Crew are on the block for PCW.
  9. Important clarification (just in case there is any confusion) that the Awesome Kong on that list is not the female wrestler Kia Stevens but a male wrestler who was part of the Colossal Kongs with King Kong and had a brief run in WCW.
  10. Mark Starr has been picked up from Free Agency by PCW.
  11. D'oh! Sorry, fixed it for you. My apologies if they are a smidge jet lagged coming in the day after wrestling a bout, but my boys are troopers and will give their best.
  12. Pacific Coast Wrestling show from McArthur Court, Eugene, April 14th Brian Lee vs. Fit Finlay A bare knuckle donnybrook that went to the Bulldozer when he hit the Prime Time Slam on Finlay. Kensuke Sasaki vs. The Soultaker Despite a valiant effort from the young Japanese star, the Soultaker pinned him following the Exorcism (Spine Snapper Backbreaker) Steve Blackman & The Suicide Blondes (Chris Candido & Louie Spicolli) vs. Steven Regal & The Can-Am Express This was a long and exciting six man tag with a bit of a surprise ending when Candido got the one two three on Regal after a backdrop suplex. The crowd exploded and his teammates celebrated with Candido for his pinfall over the California champ. Maxx Payne vs. Bam Bam Bigelow These two big men had a jarring battle that ended when Bigelow caught Payne in the corner with an avalanche and followed up with a slingshot splash for the victory. After the match, DDP was acting like he didn't even know Bam Bam, an act which seemed to visibly puzzle Payne. Pacific Submission Title Match : Billy Jack Haynes © vs. Toshiaki Kawada This time, the Triangle Of Terror symbol did make an appearance as Haynes made his way to the ring, infuriating the Oregon native. The enraged Billy Jack took it out on Kawada, forcing the Japanese star to tap out to the Full Nelson. Golden State Tag Team Title Match : The Rainbow Warriors (Vic Steamboat & Brian Adams) © vs. The Juice Crew (Beetlejuice & Big Juice) The evening closed with a high intensity tag match that went to the champions after Steamboat caught Big Juice in the Demon Suplex (Tiger Suplex)
  13. Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Portland Memorial Coliseum , Portland , on Pacific Super Cards on ESPN / TSN, April 12th Jerry Lynn vs. Dean Malenko Another classic showdown between these two young stars that went to a 20 minute time limit draw. The Dragon Kings (Dragon Azul & Silver King) vs. The Sin City Superstars (Scotty The Body & Mark Starr) The Superstars wasted no time in getting back into action, with a highly competitive bout that Starr took by hitting the Starrburst Suplex (Slingshot Suplex) on Silver King The Dreamboats (Tommy Dreamer & Glamour Boy Shane) vs. The Midnight Express After Bobby Eaton was badly battered at the hands of the Southern Boys a few weeks ago, we haven't seen too much from the Midnight Express lately. But after a statement of intent last week from Jim Cornette, The Express are back with a vengeance. Trisa Haye's boys put up a good fight, but Eaton and Lane would not be denied, pinning Shane following a Rocket Launcher. Scott Hall vs. Barry Windham There was no Triangle Of Terror symbol for this match but Windham was clearly on the lookout anyway. He was starting to make some headway against his former teammate in the Brigade until Curt Hennig charged into the ring and attacked Hall, leading to the Gator winning by DQ. Windham was furious with Hennig for interfering in his match, and the two argued in the ring before Windham stormed out to the locker room. Brian Pillman & Shinya Hashimoto vs. Buddy Rose & Mike Awesome Pillman went up to the top rope, but Tina Ferrari knocked him down to the mat, leaving him easy prey for the Awesome Bomb from Mike Awesome. Pacific Heavyweight Title Match : Ricky Steamboat © vs. Brian Christopher The Light Heavyweight Champ gave a considerable challenge to the Dragon, but Steamboat was able to pin him following a takeover suplex.
  14. Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Portland Sports Arena, Portland , on ESPN / TSN, April 11th Steve Austin vs. Cactus Jack The week opened up with a return match from a couple of weeks ago. In Los Angeles , these two young warriors went to a double countout, and were eager to sign a rematch to prove who was the better man. If anything, this match was even crazier, with each move from one wrestler seeming to fuel the anger of the other. Things got so out of hand that the ref tried to interpose himself between the two, only to get shoved to the ground by both men. That was enough for the ref to call for the DQ, resulting in another draw. It remains to be seen what it is going to take to get an ultimate resolution between these two, but you can bet it will be explosive. Eddie Guerrero vs. Beetlejuice Before they joined together in the Wild Things, these two wrestlers had some truly ferocious matches with each other. Now that they are once again on opposite sides of the fence, this match displayed just how far they had both come since then. While before, Guerrero seemed unnerved by his former partner's bizarre Beetlejuice antics, this time out, he was fierce but focused. After taking Beetlejuice down with a springboard dropkick, he swiftly went up top and came down with a Frog Splash to get the win. It looks like Eddie is looking to take his game to the next level, and with this match, he is certainly off to a good start. Interview : Don Coss stands in the ring Coss : Ladies and gentlemen, my next guests seem to have made some big changes lately … "Playboy" Buddy Rose and the Playboy Club! Rose, Tina Ferrari, Scotty The Body and Mike Awesome soak up the crowd boos like sunshine and are all smiles and confidence as they head out to the ring. Coss : Buddy Rose, I must say I am shocked at recent events. Johnny Ace seemed to be a big part of the Playboy Club, but last week, you and the rest of the Playboy Club showed him the door. Rose : Donnie Boy, I had a lot of faith in Johnny Ace, but he failed to live up to his potential. One look at him, he seemed to be Playboy Club material. He had the looks, he had the moves, he had the desire. But when it came down to it, he just didn't get the Playboy Club philosophy. You give to the Playboy Club, and the Playboy Club will give to you. Tina gets it, Scotty gets it, Big Mike gets it. Johnny, he wasn't a giver. All he could do was take. He kept expecting us to do his dirty work for him. Sure, we are all for one and one for all. But you've got to be able to get it done on your own as well. Johnny was lacking in moral fibre, so we handed him his walking papers. Now, we are a better and happier group because of it. Coss : But the Moondog Lonnie Mayne Memorial Tag Team Tournament is coming up in just a few weeks! He was supposed to be Scotty The Body's partner, and now you are going to have to scramble to find and work in a new partner in time for Vegas Vengeance! Scotty : Your lack of faith is disturbing, Coss. The Playboy Club always thinks several steps ahead and the moment we realized Ace was not working out, we already knew who would take him place. I needed someone I could trust to be my partner, a proved commodity who had already shown that he had what it takes to be a part of the Club. So I am incredibly happy to welcome back to the fold … "Marvelous" Mark Starr! Don Coss and the crowd are caught off guard. Mark Starr had not been seen in several months, but was also full of smiles as he rejoined the Playboy Club. Starr : Buddy ! Gang! Great to see you again! I just got back from holiday, visiting my family in England. What did I miss? Buddy : Oh, nothing much, apart from the one big thing. This is Mike. Say Hi, Mike. Awesome : Howdy. Starr : Cheers! Rose : So, there you have it. Once again, the Club is one big happy family. Vegas Vengeance will bring big things to us. And don't think we haven't got some more surprise to come. We are still the premiere group on the West Coast, so overlook us at your peril! Dustin Rhodes & The Southern Boys vs. The Oregon Wrecking Crew (Billy Jack Haynes, Gary Albright & David Young) As the OWC were heading out to the ring, once again the lights went out and the Triangle Of Terror symbol was beamed into the ring. This clearly rattled the trio, and the Southern Boys eagerly capitalized. Even their partner, Dustin Rhodes, seemed unnerved at the zeal with which they ran roughshod over the disorganized Wrecking Crew, culminating in Smothers knocking Young to the mat with a spinning backfist that got them the win. Whoever the Triangle Of Terror are, they are starting to make some powerful enemies. Bret Hart vs. Curt Hennig Mr. Perfect has been less than perfect lately, suffering several frustrating losses. Looking to get back on a winning path, he chose particularly stiff competition in the rising Hitman. The two started off in a technical battle, but Hennig seemed to take more short cuts as the match went on. The increasing recklessness led him to go for the Perfect Plex too soon, with Bret easily blocking it and countering with a cradle that got the one two three. Hennig was so upset that he kicked a chair into a guardrail on the way out. Temper temper, Curt.
  15. The "disagreement" in question was Simmons hitting Cactus with a tackle so hard it tore an abdominal muscle that put Cactus on the shelf for a few months.
  16. Cactus might not 100% agree
  17. PCW drops Johnny Ace, picks up Mark Starr.
  18. Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Kelowna Memorial Arena, Kelowna, April 7th Louie Spicolli vs. The Soultaker The Soultaker's rampage continues with another Exorcism (spine snapper backbreaker) victory, this time over Spicolli. Dan Severn vs. Fit Finlay Once again, Severn came out slow and somewhat lethargic. Finlay was having none of it, at one point full on slapping Severn to get some fight out of him. The Beast was shocked back into the match and was able to force Finlay to tap out to a half crab. Despite the surly nod of respect from Finlay, Severn still seemed downcast as he left the ring. Toshiaki Kawada vs. Buddy Rose Rose brought along Mike Awesome as an insurance policy for this match. He cashed that in when Tina Ferrari distracted the ref, allowing Awesome to rush into the ring and flatten Kawada with a mighty clothesline. Rose then hit the Inside Out Backbreaker for the dirty win. California Title Match : Steve Regal © vs. Chris Candido Another long title defense for Regal, going past 25 minutes before the champion was finally able to put down Candido with the Regal Plex. Golden State Tag Team Title Match : The Rainbow Warriors (Brian Adams & Vic Steamboat) © vs. Scotty The Body & Johnny Ace Ace came in battered and bruised from the previous night's shenanigans , as well as bearing a considerable chip on his shoulder with regards to his teammate. This was not helped by Scotty ignoring him for the entirety of the match, leaving Ace to get destroyed by the Warriors with the Refraction(suspended vertical suplex by Adams into a flying cross body press by Steamboat). After the match, Ace started arguing in the ring with Scotty as the rest of the Playboy Club came out to mediate … at least until Tina Ferrari nailed him from behind with a low blow. When Ace doubled over, Scotty hit the Body Shot. Rose then followed up with the Inside Out Backbreaker, and Awesome put him down for good with the Awesome Bomb. To add insult to injury, Tina spat on the prone form of Ace as the Playboy Club strutted out of the ring. It looks like Ace's tenure in the Playboy Club was not so Illustrious after all, and is most certainly at an end. Pacific Television Title Match : Brian Pillman © vs. The Jackal After the nonsense of the previous match, the evening closed out with a ferocious TV title defense, with Pillman outlasting the sinister Jackal and pinning him following a Victory Roll.
  19. Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Pacific Coliseum, Vancouver on Pacific Super Cards on ESPN / TSN , April 6th Jerry Lynn & The Dragon Kings (Dragon Azul & Silver King) vs. Dean Malenko & The Can-Am Express Another long and exciting six man tag that came to a sudden end when Malenko hit a Brainbuster on Lynn for the win. Brian Lee vs. David Young A real slobberknocker that went to the Bulldozer when Lee pinned the Roughneck following the Prime Time Slam Pacific Submission Title Match : Billy Jack Haynes © vs. Kensuke Sasaki Bizarrely, during Billy Jack's entrance to the ring, the lights went out and the Triangle Of Terror symbol was beamed into the ring. This rattled Haynes but he recomposed himself enough to hit the Shoulder Breaker before forcing Sasaki to tap out to the Full Nelson. It looks like now the Triangle Of Terror aren't restricting their torment to Barry Windham. Shinya Hashimoto vs. Johnny Ace Ace seemed to be looking throughout the match for the other members of the Playboy Club to come to his aid. Not a good time for anyone to be distracted, as Hashimoto capitalized with a spinning back heel kick and got the pinfall. Pacific Tag Team Title Match : The Destruction Crew © vs. The Dreamboats (Tommy Dreamer & Glamour Boy Shane) These two teams were rocking and rolling in a great tag title match that was marred by Johnny Ace charging into the ring to attack Tommy Dreamer. Once again, he seemed to be looking for backup from the rest of the Playboy Club, backup that was not forthcoming. Too bad for the Illustrious One, as it resulted in him being on the wrong end of a severe beatdown from both teams, who were equally incensed at him ruining their match. Pacific Heavyweight Title Match : Ricky Steamboat © vs. Masahiro Chono Steamboat was facing off another ferocious challenge from Masahiro Chono, who, as always, had his mentor Genichiro Tenryu in tow. This was a long and intense affair that ended with Steamboat dodging the Yakuza Kick and catching Chono in a crucifix to just barely hold his shoulders down for the one two three. After the match, Tenryu entered the ring for a good long staredown with Steamboat, but then returned to the locker room without further incident.
  20. Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Victoria Memorial Arena, Victoria, on ESPN / TSN, April 5th The Suicide Blondes (Chris Candido & Louie Spicolli) vs. The Fighting Irish (Fit Finlay & Erin O'Grady) While the PCW tag division boasts two strong champions in the Destruction Crew and the Rainbow Warriors, there are a lot of promising young teams that are fighting for contention. Two such teams were squaring off tonight, with the Blondes and the Irish having a tightly contested bout. While O'Grady was as feisty as ever and gave a real scrap to the Blondes, Spicolli was able to take him down with a Samoan Drop and get the win. None of this, of course, affected Finlay's faith in his young partner and, little by little, the Leprechaun is starting to blossom under the tutelage of the Belfast Bruiser. Billy Gunn vs. Curt Hennig In his short time in PCW, Billy Gunn has become one of the best liked competitors on the west coast. Always ready with a smile and a handshake for the fans, the amiable cowboy has quickly garnered the affection of the fans. This has given him the encouragement to get on a bit of a roll lately. In the last couple of weeks, he got a big win against Big Juice as well as hold his own in a knock down drag out fight with the dreaded Cactus Jack. He would face much more imposing competition in the former Pacific Heavyweight Champ Mr. Perfect. Gunn acquitted himself well but it seemed like it was going to go to Hennig when he had the Texan set up for the Perfect Plex. But then, Gunn locked his legs to block the Perfect Plex, then countered with the Sidewinder (spinning side suplex). One … two … THREE! The fans exploded in cheers as Gunn had pulled off the biggest win of his brief career. Billy seemed a bit flabbergasted that he had actually pulled it off, but he has given his momentum the biggest boost imaginable with this huge win. Interview : Don Coss stands in the ring Coss : Ladies and gentlemen, my next guests are the former Golden State Tag Team champions … James E. Cornette and the Midnight Express! Cornette and his men stalk past the booing fans as the head out to the ring. Cornette : You mind your tongue, Coss , or I will slice you from nape to chops! And never mind that former champions business! I am the manager of champions. My man, Brian Christopher, is the Pacific Light Heavyweight Champion and is right at this moment training for his next defense. Ever since we arrived in this Apocalyptic hellscape you call the Pacific Coast, we have dominated the tag team ranks like no other team before or since. Two time Pacific Tag Champs and Golden State champs, we have separated the contenders from the pretenders. And now , there is a pair of pretenders babysitting our titles for us. Steamboat and Adams … no, not you two, the other ones … you have had a nice time of it as the belle's of the ball. Well, I hope you have enjoyed your fairy tale reign, because it is about to strike Midnight! Your championship dreams are about to turn back into a beautiful pumpkin, and my boys are going to smash them like it is the day after Halloween! I say good day, sir! The Soultaker vs. Rory Freeman While the Wild Things have spread chaos wherever they go, one of the more predictable elements of the group was certain victory from the Soultaker. This monster has left a trail of broken bodies wherever he has gone, and that trail ran right through Rory Freeman. Soultaker folded, spindled and mutilated the rookie before polishing him off with the Exorcism (spine snapper backbreaker). Can anyone stop the Soultaker? Bret Hart vs. Barry Windham In the years since they have both been in PCW, these two second generation stars have faced off several times, and it has always been a classic match. As yet, Hart has not managed a decisive victory over the Widowmaker, but with Windham's recent distraction by the mysterious Triangle Of Terror, the odds might be tipping a bit more in Bret's favor. As can be expected, Windham was anxiously looking all around as he headed out, but his entrance was uninterrupted by any display from the Triangle. He and the Hitman got down to business and it was another highly competitive match, although unfortunately marred by a strange ending. Windham was able to hit the Western Lariat on Hart and was about to go for the cover, when the lights went out and the Triangle Of Terror symbol was beamed into the ring. When order was restored, Windham was freaking out in the ring, screaming, "Come out! Come out and face me!" As he was doing this, a groggy Bret had partially recovered and reflexively hit a dropkick that send Windham flying out of the ring. Windham was not able to make it back into the ring in time and lost the match by countout. Once he had recovered his wits, Windham went tearing off to the locker room to find the people or person responsible, leaving a confused Bret back in the ring. Whoever or whatever this Triangle Of Terror might be, the had best be ready to face Windham's fury when he catches up with them.
  21. Just remembered that Leroy Brown has passed, as of September 6, 1988.
  22. Always fun when the show ends in chaos! Devastation Inc. is finding out the hard way that Mr. Wonderful has friends.
  23. Best memory, Taz was on the Low Blow version of WCW roster. When that was dissolved and Low Blow took over WWF, Taz went undrafted and somehow was not put on the Free Agent list.
