Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the LA Sports Arena, Los Angeles, on ESPN / TSN Pacific Super Cards, October 24th Badd Company vs. The Dog Pound (Brian Knobbs & Rick Steiner) Another wild, knock down, drag out fight between these two teams where Knobbs was going for a power slam on Tanaka, but Diamond dropkicked them over with Tanaka on top to get the win for Badd Company Brutus Beefcake, The Great Muta & The Great Kabuki vs. Chris Adams & The Hart Foundation Adams hit a sneak attack Superkick to the back of Kabuki's head to score the pinfall for his team "Crusher" Jerry Blackwell vs. Randy Rose Blackwell won with a powerslam Texas Red & The Southern Boys vs. The Crazy Gang (Bob Orton, Manny Fernandez & Grizzly Boone) Orton executed a Superplex on Armstrong, followed by a running splash by Boone for the victory. Smothers remained on the ring apron for the entire match Pacific Tag Team Title Match : Billy Jack Haynes & Buddy Rose © vs. The Pacific Warlords (Don Muraco & Jimmy Snuka) Snuka had Rose lined up for the Superfly Splash, but Rose got his knees up and Snuka landed hard. Rose was then able to execute the Inside Out Backbreaker to successfully defend their titles Pacific Heavyweight Title Match : Ricky Steamboat © vs. Eddie Gilbert Although these two men are good friends, that has not diminished the intensity of their matches for the Pacific Heavyweight Title. This started out with an exchange of holds and matwork, but little by little, both men got more aggressive, with Gilbert determined he was a worthy contender to the title and Steamboat equally determined to maintain his grip on the title. The fans were spellbound as the two had an epic battle for the belt, with it seeming at many points like the title could change hands. Gilbert tried to put Steamboat away with a figure four leglock, but Steamboat countered with an inside cradle. Gilbert reversed it with his own inside cradle but only got a two count, and right after that the ring bell sounded, signaling a 60 minute time limit draw. Both men were exhausted but helped each other up and shook hands as the fans gave them and the match a standing ovation.

Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Olympic Auditorium , Los Angeles , on ESPN / TSN, October 23rd Doug Somers vs. Waylon Mercy After a fashion, Somers is partly responsible for Mercy's reign of terror in PCW, as it was the taunting of the Playboy Club that led to the man then known as Dan Spivey to turn to his Mercy persona. Whether Mercy was looking for revenge in this match or just acting out his own sadistic nature, he certainly seemed to be enjoying himself as he had a sly grin on his face as he took Somers apart. The Pretty Boy did his best but just couldn't make a dent in the huge madman. Mercy planted him to the mat with a DDT and put his foot on Somers' chest for the cover. A decisive victory that Mercy clearly relished. Brutus Beefcake vs. Bob Orton Although Orton may have recently lost the California Title, he has not let that slow down his ambitions, and he has let it be known that he is aiming for the Pacific Television Title, currently held by Texas Red. Looking to stake his claim at a title shot, he clearly sought to make short work of Brutus Beefcake. But Beefcake was no pushover, bouncing back after Orton's initial flurry of offense and retaliating with his high impact power offense. Things swung back and forth until Orton unleashed a huge lariat that was finally able to put Beefcake down for good. A hard fought win that cemented the Cowboy's position as a top contender. Nick Busick vs. Jake Roberts The man from Powerhouse Hill has been growing increasingly more angry with the Snake and his crew after several sneak attacks. He clearly was working out a lot of his pent up aggression as he finally had Jake Roberts in his sights. Although the Snake did his best to stall and avoid grappling Busick for as long as possible, Busick would not be denied and once he got his hands on Roberts, he unleashed a crushing series of slams and drops on him. Determined to make him pay for everything he had done to him, Busick locked Roberts in the Busick Bender (stump puller) , but before the Snake gave up, his allies Waylon Mercy and Nord The Barbarian charged out and attacked Busick, leading to a DQ win for him. The three didn't get a chance to do much damage as Leo Burke and Bam Bam Bigelow swiftly came to rescue Busick, but he was clearly furious, and I doubt we have seen the last of this feud. Street Fight : Billy Jack Haynes vs. Manny Fernandez Cabin Fever have been presenting a considerable challenge to the Pacific Tag Team Champs Billy Jack Haynes and Buddy Rose, leading to this Street Fight. The other members of the Crazy Gang were banned from ringside for this match, as were Buddy Rose and the rest of the Playboy Club, leading to a hard hitting one-on-one showdown with no rules and no holding back. Both men tore into each other and were a bloody mess by the end of the match, having thrown pretty much everything in their respective arsenals at each other. Billy Jack was ultimately able to catch Fernandez in a powerslam off the ropes to score the three count, but the Ragin' Bull had left his mark on him, and Cabin Fever remain a considerable threat to the Pacific Tag Team Champions. Ricky Steamboat & Eddie Gilbert vs. The Hart Foundation These two teams squared off a few weeks ago, with Jim Neidhart being hampered by a shoulder injury. This time, with Neidhart back to full strength, the Harts were determined to avenge their earlier loss. The result was a very intense tag battle, with the Hart Foundation unleashing their array of double team moves and sneak attacks against Steamboat and Gilbert, who fought back with their own blend of skill and resilience. The Hart Foundation came close on several occasions to taking the win, but Steamboat was eventually able to reverse a cross body by Hart with a rollover to get the three count. A hard fought win, but one that everything Hot Stuff and the Heavyweight Champ had to pull off.

They went all out against the champs and clearly did a lot of damage. Buddy Rose did eventually manage to catch Knobbs in the Inside Out Back Breaker to successfully defend the titles, but afterwards, you could definitely tell that the champs had been in a , errrr, dog fight.

Bob Orton vs. Leo Burke A very tightly contested battle that Orton won with a backbreaker The Thundercats (Too Cold Scorpio & Norman Smiley) vs. Flamboyance (Lanny Poffo & Ron Starr) Scorpio pinned Starr after a top rope legdrop Nick Busick vs. Nord The Barbarian Busick won by countout after hitting the spinebuster slam on the outside California Title Match : Al Perez © vs. Mr. Hito An intense struggle where Perez ultimately prevailed with the Ally-Copter Chavo, Hector & Mando Guerrero vs. British Steel (Steven Regal & Robbie Brookside) & Tom Zenk Chavo pinned Regal with a German suplex after a fast paced and exciting bout Pacific Heavyweight Title Match : Ricky Steamboat © vs. Terry Taylor On the back of his nearly winning the California Title from Al Perez, Taylor managed to parlay that into a shot at the Pacific Title. He proceeded to show that he was worthy of that shot, giving Steamboat one of the toughest challenges of his title run, coming very close on several occasion to pinning the champ's shoulders for the three count. Taylor tried to put Steamboat down for good with a reverse neckbreaker, but Steamboat blocked it and reversed with a backslide that just barely got the one two three. Steamboat offered a handshake to the challenger after the match, which Taylor just barely accepted.

I see that Fumihiro Niikura is available for this draft, likely for his work in Calgary as the Silver Fox of the Viet Cong Express. If that is the case, would that not also make the Golden Grappler, Hiroshi Hase, also available?

Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Cow Palace , San Francisco , on ESPN / TSN, October 16th Pat Tanaka vs. Rick Steiner Badd Company and the Dog Pound have been having some intense battles of late that have kept the fans spellbound. This singles match would continue the feud and pit the power and tenacity of Steiner, representing the Dog Pound, against the speed and skill of Tanka from Badd Company. Tanaka did his best to dodge Steiner's power offense, peppering him with quick kicks and shots, slowly chipping away at him. But when Steiner landed, he landed hard, hitting some crushing slams and clothelines. The end came with Steiner attempting a belly to back suplex, but Tanaka flipped over him and landed on his feet. Steiner retaliated by whirling around and levelling him with a huge clothesline that kept Tanaka down for the pinfall. A tough loss for Tanaka, but this tag feud shows no sign of stopping. The Southern Boys vs. Jimmy Del Ray & Randy Rose Last week, the Southern Boys' match took a bit of an odd turn, with Tracy Smothers wrestling the whole match and leaving Steve Armstrong completely out of the action. This time out, they seemed to be back on track, tagging in and out and hitting their signature combination moves against the former Tag Team champs. But late in the match, things went bizarre again when Armstrong and Rose were battling in the ring. The ref was in the process of escorting Del Ray out of the ring and Smothers took advantage of the distraction by going up top and blindsiding Rose with a Jawjacker. A confused Armstrong made the cover and got the one two three, but seemed clearly displeased with the smiling Smothers as they left the ring. Lanny Poffo vs. Norman Smiley "Leaping" Lanny Poffo has been out for revenge ever since losing the Light Heavyweight Title to Too Cold Scorpio. Looking to prove he is still a contender, the former champ took on Scorpio's partner in the Thundercats, Norman Smiley. But if he thought Smiley was going to be easy pickings, he was in for a rude awakening, as Smiley kept catching him in a variety of wear down holds and submission traps that took all of Poffo's considerable ingenuity to escape. Poffo was able to bust out on an attempt at the Norman Conquest (crossface chicken wing) and take Smiley down with a dropkick before hitting the Skydrop (short range Moonsault) to put an end to things. If there was any doubt before that the Thundercats meant business, this singles match surely put that to rest. Larry Cameron vs. Buddy Jack Roberts Speaking of the Thundercats, "Lethal" Larry Cameron has been conspicuously absent of late from the side of his teammates, focusing instead on singles matches. While he has had some impressive matches, he has seemed to be spinning his wheels and with no real forward momentum in his career. Looking to get back on track, he agreed to this match with the wily member of the Freebirds. While Roberts certainly showed no reluctance to dig into his bag of dirty tricks to get any advantage he could, Cameron did prevail, seemingly on sheer willpower, hitting the Harlem Hammer (running double axehandle to the back of the head and neck) to put the Freebird down for the count. Hopefully, his will help get things back on track for the big former football player. Pacific Tag Team Title Match : Buddy Rose & Billy Jack Haynes © vs. Cabin Fever (Manny Fernandez & Grizzly Boone) Cabin Fever have been gunning hard for the Pacific Tag Team Titles, looking to bring them back to the Crazy Gang. Thus far, Buddy Rose and Billy Jack Haynes have been able to hold back their challenge, but it has increasingly seemed like the Ragin' Bull and the Grizzly have been wearing down the champs. This match had an aura of barely restrained mayhem throughout, always one step away from complete breakdown. That finally happened when Billy Jack caught Fernandez in a big bear hug , and Boone came in to rescue his partner. The ref tried to send him out, but Boone knocked him to the ground, leading to a DQ win for the champs. That didn't stop Boone and Fernandez from double teaming Haynes until Rose came in with a chair to run them off. Can the champions hold off these wild men for much longer?

Pacific Coast Wrestling show from McArthur Court, Eugene, October 12th Bam Bam Bigelow & Nick Busick vs. The Pacific Warlords (Don Muraco & Jimmy Snuka) Busick was trying to get Snuka in the Busick Bender (stump puller) when Jake Roberts snuck in the ring and executed a DDT, then put Snuka on top of Busick to give the win to the Pacific Warlords Brutus Beefcake vs. Mando Guerrero Brutus won with the Final Cut (running kneelift) Badd Company vs. The Dog Pound (Brian Knobbs & Rick Steiner) This match went to a no contest with all four men brawling in the ring at the same time The Southern Boys vs. The Freebirds (Michael Hayes & Buddy Jack Roberts) Hayes pinned Armstrong after hitting a running Bulldog Mike Rotunda, Tom Zenk & Al Perez vs. Jake Roberts, Waylon Mercy & Nord The Barbarian This was an intense match with a lot of hatred going into it that ended when Nick Busick charged into the ring when the ref was distracted and hit a massive Spinebuster Slam on Jake Roberts. Rotunda then rolled up the Snake to get the win for his team. Golden State Tag Team Title Match : Chavo & Hector Guerrero © vs. British Steel (Steven Regal & Robbie Brookside) A long and gripping match that had the fans rocking and rolling throughout. The young Englishmen put up an incredible challenge to the Guerreros for their titles, but in the end the brothers prevailed when Hector was finally able to put Brookside away with a butterfly suplex

Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Portland Sports Arena, Portland , on ESPN / TSN , October 10th Bam Bam Bigelow & Nick Busick vs. Waylon Mercy & Nord The Barbarian Bigelow and Busick have turned into a force to be reckoned with of late, with their opponents struggling to match up to their power and size. Mercy and Nord, no small fries themselves, found themselves out matched by the strength and aggression of their popular opponents. No big surprise that they turned to dirty tactics, with their mentor Jake Roberts sneaking around the ring, yanking Busick off the ringside apron and driving him head first into the ring steps. Roberts then started to put the boots to Busick until Leo Burke rushed out and ran him off before helping Busick to his feet. This caused sufficient distraction for Bigelow that he was looking the other way when Nord blind sided him with a running knee to the back. Nord followed up with a running kneedrop that got the one two three. Mercy, Nord and Roberts laughed at their ill gotten victory, while Burke and Busick were furious, and Bigelow seemed confused by what had gone down. The Southern Boys vs. Flamboyance (Lanny Poffo & Ron Starr) While Bigelow was confused by the results of the last match, it was Steve Armstrong who was confused by this one, as well as the fans. Flamboyance were the first out to the ring, preening and smug as usual. The Southern Boys were out next, but out of nowhere , Tracy went racing ahead of Armstrong, swiftly ascending the top rope and hitting a surprise Jawjacker on Starr. He then dropkicked Poffo out of the ring and went for the cover, scoring the shocking pinfall. A decisive victory for the Southern Boys, but what on earth possessed Smothers to fight it single handed. The Great Muta vs. Bret Hart For this match, Bret was joined at ringside by his Hart Foundation partner, Jim Neidhart. Neidhart had made only sporadic appearances in the past few weeks due to a shoulder injury, but looked to have made a full recovery as he paced around the ring. He was a constant source of menace to young Muta as his attention was split between both men of the Hart Foundation. Neidhart proved to be the deciding factor in the match, as when Muta went up top for the Moonsault, the Anvil shoved him hard, causing him to tumble backwards to the mat. Hart capitalized with a double leg cradle to get the three count. After the match, Hart and Neidhart continued their assault on Muta until his father, The Great Kabuki, rushed out , swinging his nunchaku, and ran them off. The Harts may have one this time, but may have bitten off more than they can chew but brining Muta's family into the fray. Buddy Rose, Billy Jack Haynes & Doug Somers vs. The Crazy Gang (Bob Orton, Manny Fernandez & Grizzly Boone) Cabin Fever, the team of Manny Fernandez and Grizzly Boone, have set their sights on the Pacific Tag Team Titles currently held by Rose and Haynes. This time out, they have brought in their Crazy Gang boss, Cowboy Bob Orton, to prove their worth against the champs and Doug Somers. Orton and Boone were particularly tough nuts for Rose's team to crack, but for this match, it would be Fernandez who left his mark. The Ragin' Bull savaged Somers, busting him open before nailing him with the Flying Burrito for the win. Rose and Haynes have been fairly dominant champions so far, but Cabin Fever could just be the team to take the belts away from them. Pacific Television Title Match : Texas Red © vs. John Tatum Tatum has been a persistent thorn in the side of the TV champ, with the other members of the Hollywood Vice Squad constantly sticking their noses in. Well, it seems like Texas Red is truly fed up with them, and this match shown that he has finally had enough. When Randy Rose and Jimmy Del Ray tried to interfere, he grabbed them by the throat and dragged them into the ring before clotheslining them both back out of the ring. He then grabbed Tatum by the hair and hit the Heart Punch , contemptuously putting his foot on his unconscious body as the ref made the three count. Tatum remained completely out of it even as Del Ray and Rose dragged him out of the ring to the locker room.

Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Kelowna Memorial Arena, Kelowna, October 5th The Southern Boys vs. Flamboyance (Lanny Poffo & Ron Starr) Smothers pinned Poffo after hitting the Jawjacker Tom Zenk vs. Waylon Mercy Mercy won by countout after Jake Roberts hit a DDT on Zenk outside the ring Leo Burke vs. Mando Guerrero A very tight contest where Burke managed to pin Mando after a belly to back suplex Jerry Blackwell, Nick Busick & Bam Bam Bigelow vs. The Crazy Gang (Bob Orton, Manny Fernandez & Grizzly Boone) A wild , chaotic brawl that ended when Orton took advantage of the ref being distracted by clobbering Busick with the ring bell, allowing Boone to hit a running splash to pull out the tainted win. Badd Company , Ed Wiskowski & Doug Somers vs. The Dog Pound (Brian Knobbs & Rick Steiner), Randy Rose & Jimmy Del Ray A long and hard fought match where Wiskowski was able to score the win with a face first piledriver on Randy Rose California Title Match : Al Perez © vs. Terry Taylor The former TV champ gave Perez his toughest challenge yet, going hold for hold with the Latin Heartthrob. He went for broke when he tried to nail Perez in the corner with the Fivearm, but Perez dodged out of the way just in time, then countered with a German suplex that gave him the three count.

Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Victoria Memorial Arena, Victoria, on Pacific Super Cards, on ESPN/TSN , October 4th Brutus Beefcake vs. Buddy Jack Roberts Beefcake won with the Final Cut (running kneelift) The Pacific Warlords (Don Muraco & Jimmy Snuka) vs, The Thundercats (Too Cold Scorpio & Norman Smiley) Muraco pinned Smiley after hitting a belly to belly piledriver Eddie Gilbert vs. John Tatum In a match between the top contender for the Heavyweight title and the top contender for the Television title, Gilbert managed to defeat Tatum with a Lou Thesz Press Larry Cameron vs. Nord The Barbarian Both men were counted out while brawling outside the ring Pacific Television Title Match : Texas Red © vs. Ron Starr Starr put up a tough fight but Red was able to successfully defend his title with the Chokeslam Leo Burke & British Steel (Steven Regal & Robbie Brookside) vs. Chavo, Hector & Mando Guerrero An intense six man that ended when Hector was able to catch Brookside in the Guerrero Clutch Pacific Heavyweight Title Match : Ricky Steamboat © vs. Bret Hart After his impressive performance in his previous challenge, Bret Hart earned himself a second shot at the champ, and followed it up by continuing his merciless attack on Steamboat's legs. He was also especially vicious with his shots, hitting particularly nasty forearms and suplexes that clearly took their toll on the champ. Steamboat was able to battle back , first using his chops to hold off Hart's assault then able to hit some suplexes of his own, gritting it out in spite of the damage done to his legs. There were many near falls and the crowd were on the edge of their seats throughout the match. Steamboat was ultimately able to hit a sunset flip out of the corner and hold Hart down for the one two three.

Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Pacific Coliseum, Vancouver, on ESPN / TSN , October 3rd Badd Company vs. The Dog Pound (Brian Knobbs & Rick Steiner) After their loss to Diamond and Tanaka last week, Knobbs and Steiner immediately demanded a rematch as soon as possible. They came out with an even more fiery ferocity, and Badd Company were on the defensive for much of the match. Badd Company were able to come back with their rapid fire , double team moves. But right in the middle of their rally, Tanaka leapfrogged over Knobbs, only to get levelled by a massive clothesline by Steiner. Knobbs held up Diamond while Steiner got the pinfall. The Dog Pound had evened the count with Badd Company and don't look to stop there. Mike Rotunda vs. Waylon Mercy It seems like so long ago that Mercy was known as Dan Spivey and was Rotunda's best friend. So much has changed in that time and they are now the bitterest of enemies and there seemed like no trace of their friendship remained as the two tore into each other. Mercy's mentor Jake "The Snake" Roberts was at ringside, but Rotunda stayed laser focused on Mercy throughout the match, and the two waged a mighty battle indeed. Mercy was set to put Rotunda down for good with the DDT, and took a second to grin at The Snake, who nodded in approval. But Rotunda was playing possum and caught Mercy in a small package that just barely got the three count. Mercy and Roberts were both furious, but Rotunda was defiant in his victory, having clearly taken all he intended to take from the dastardly duo. Ed Wiskowski & Doug Somers vs. Cabin Fever (Manny Fernandez & Grizzly Boone) Cabin Fever have been racking up some impressive wins of late, and are gaining momentum to try to challenge for the Pacific Tag Team Titles held by Billy Jack Haynes and Buddy Rose. Rose's teammates in the Playboy Club, Wiskowski and Somers, looked to put up a road block in their progress, but the men of the Crazy Gang were having none of it. No matter what they did, they just couldn't seem to put a dent in the big Grizzly Boone. But it was Manny Fernandez who especially seemed to have a fire lit in his belly, going after Wiskowski and Somers like his raging bull namesake. He managed to bust open Somers before knocking him out with the Flying Burrito, getting the win for his team. Can anything stop Cabin Fever on their march to a title shot? Pacific Light Heavyweight Title : Too Cold Scorpio © vs. Ron Starr Too Cold Scorpio shocked many last week when he took the Light Heavyweight Title from Lanny Poffo. This week, Starr was looking to immediately bring the title back to Flamboyance, by hook or by crook. Starr is a savvy veteran, but the youth and speed of Scorpio was a lot to try and keep down, and he found himself resorting to try and punch the fight out of the new champion. This caused his concentration to lapse long enough for Scorpio to counter his attempted clothesline with a crucifix that held him down for the three count. Scorpio is clearly determined to prove himself a worthy champion, and has made a very good start on that. Brutus Beefcake vs. Terry Gordy Terry Gordy had his shot at regaining the Pacific Heavyweight Title last week, but came up short. He clearly had a chip on his shoulder from that and was looking to take out his frustration on Brutus Beefcake. Beefcake, for his part, was not about to be anybody's punching bag and kept slugging it out with big lefts and rights. The two men battled back and forth, and the ring shook from their dueling power moves. Beefcake went for broke when he had Gordy caught in the corner and came in for the Final Cut (running kneelift), but Gordy dodged at the last second and Beefcake went hard into the turnbuckle. Gordy then hit a second rope kneedrop and scored the pinfall on Beefcake. Gordy was victorious but it took a lot to get the win.

Nonetheless, Poffo managed to hit the Skydrop (short range moonsault) on Smiley for the victory The Great Muta vs. Terry Taylor Muta ducked under the Fivearm and came back with a spin kick to the jaw to score the pinfall California Title Match : Al Perez © vs. Mr. Hito Both men went to a 20 minute time limit draw Pacific Television Title Match : Texas Red © vs. John Tatum Tatum managed to wear down the champ by digging deep into his bag of dirty tricks, but the champ ultimately prevailed by catching him off the ropes with a Western Lariat

Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the LA Sports Arena, Los Angeles, on ESPN / TSN Pacific Super Cards, September 27th The Southern Boys vs. Cabin Fever (Manny Fernandez & Grizzly Boone) The Freebirds snuck in the ring while the ref was distracted and Michael Hayes took Armstrong down with a running bulldog , making him easy prey for a running splash by Boone that gave the win to Cabin Fever Nick Busick & Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Randy Rose & Jimmy Del Ray No matter what underhanded tactics they tried, the former tag champs could not corral Busick and Bigelow for long , and Bigelow crushed Rose with a slingshot splash for the victory Leo Burke vs. Bob Orton A hard hitting match between two tough veterans that ended when Orton caught Burke in a running lariat and was just barely able to keep him down for the one two three. British Steel (Steven Regal & Robbie Brookside) vs. The Pacific Warlord (Don Muraco & Jimmy Snuka) British Steel used cat and mouse tactics to keep a step ahead of the Shiekh's men and gave a very good accounting of themselves, but in the end, the size and experience of Snuka and Muraco proved to be too much to overcome, and Muraco pinned Brookside after a belly to belly piledriver Pacific Tag Team Title Match : Billy Jack Haynes & Buddy Rose © vs. The Freebirds (Michael Hayes & Buddy Jack Roberts) The Freebirds were determined to cheat their way to the Tag Team Titles , and might just have pulled it off too. But Steve Armstrong showed up at ringside and started chasing Buddy Jack around the ring. While the ref was distracted by this, Hayes had Rose set up for a running bulldog, but Tracy Smothers came off the top rope and hit Hayes with a jawjacker. He then put Rose on top of Hayes and dove out of the ring. The ref turned around and made the count, giving the victory to the champs. Pacific Heavyweight Title Match : Ricky Steamboat © vs. Terry Gordy For this long awaited rematch, Gordy was clearly in no mood to trifle, wasting no time in going after Steamboat. The big Freebird landed some hellacious blows on Steamboat, and for a while it seemed like the Dragon's title reign might well be a short one. But Steamboat weathered out the storm and came back with fire in his eyes, hitting his trademark armdrags and working to neutralize the Asiatic Spike. This war went back and forth for a long time, with the fans on the edge of their seats for most of it, until Steamboat was able to make his way to the top rope and come off with a flying cross body press. He was able to keep Gordy covered for the vital three count and kept his hold on the title with a hard fought victory.
