[1993-08-13-WWF-MSG, NY] Jerry Lawler vs Randy Savage
Not the best match but really great to see Lawler in this environment. Savage continues to be a guy were throughout the 90's, I have been mostly unimpressed in ring and he didn't do a whole lot here. Lawler was masterful with the control of the match and set up the ending perfectly. Savage and Bret going after each other for a bit before cooler heads prevailed was interesting. ***

[1993-08-13-SMW-Hot August Night in Mo-Town] Heavenly Bodies & Jim Cornette vs Scott & Steve & Bob Armstrong
A big bag of fun here. I thought the Bodies were great when they went on offense and really hit that balance well of stooging early but meaning business and being vicious when they go on the offensive. The Bob vs. Cornette stuff was great and really well built to. SMW is really on a roll right now as everything is seemingly coming together. ***3/4

[1999-07-18-Ruleta de la Muerte] Shocker vs Rey Bucanero
This was too brief for my tastes even though I understand that they were in a pretty grueling tag match earlier in the night. I did like the opening with the wild dives and brawling but the ending didn't grab me and before I realized what was going on, the match was over. I had actually pegged this as when Shocker lost his hood so I was surprised. ***

[1999-07-18-Ruleta de la Muerte] Blue Panther & Olimpico vs Rey Bucanero & Shocker
First fall was awesome with intense brawling all around. Next two falls certainly couldn't match up to that level and sputtered out until the finish which I thought was very cleverly done. This is turning out to be a really fun show for CMLL. ***3/4

[1999-07-18-Ruleta de la Muerte] El Satanico & Zumbido & Valentin Mayo & Virus & Rencor Latino vs Starman & Astro Rey Jr & El Oriental & Tigre Blanco & Mr Aguila
Awesome match full of spots and action. I think having Virus in these types of matches is great to make them reach the next level because he is able to bring his tremendous wrestling to the table which helps offset some of the spottiness of the match around him. THis is essentially all you could ask for in a high-octane multi-man match in the middle of a card. ****

[1996-08-24-ECW-Natural Born Killaz] The Sandman & Pit Bull #2 vs Raven & Shane Douglas
I can't be bothered with the Sandman drama and thematch surrounding it was not good so yeah, this didn't do a whole lot for me. Pitbull winning was a nice feel good moment. **

[1996-08-24-ECW-Natural Born Killaz] Rob Van Dam vs Doug Furnas
Not the type of match I expected as it had way more brawling. This was enjoyable enough and I don't want to keep beating a dead horse, but I really do groan more when ECW pops up on my screen than any other promotion in going through this year. **1/2

[1996-08-24-RINGS-Maelstrom] Volk Han vs Tsuyoshi Kohsaka
This was incredible. I don't know if I have seen any better foot and leg work from a shoot style match in history and I thought it was incredibly clever that once I thought Han was done for sure, he had the resourcefulness to lock on that armbar that looked like he was going to break Kohasaka's arm and pick up the victory. Amazing 15 minutes of grappling. ****1/2

[1996-08-19-WWF-Raw] Shawn Michaels commercial
That jacket is ridiculously gaudy and expensive and the commercial was atrocious. Shawn's in ring character of showing how tough he is isn't really matching these vignettes.
