Greatest Match in WWE History?
I like WM 26 Shawn/Taker better than 25. Felt like more of a fight to me and more focus on a body part selling. I also genuinely thought the ending was in question too which is a component for me in evaluating Taker matches.

Austin vs. Hart WM 13 is #1 for me On first thought the rest of the top 5 would be: Boot Camp Slaughter vs. Sheik Warrior vs. Savage Brock vs. Cena I have all of those as ***** Cena vs. Bryan - My MOTY for 2013 and ****3/4

[1999-01-30-ECW-TV] Dudley Boys and Public Enemy
Agree with Styles. Im still baffled he is held up as one of the bigger assets of ECW as I haven't seen it and would have him below Tony even at this point. This was good with Bubba running down everyone falling for the gag and making fun of Rocco Rock's age. PE of course cleans house which is cool but they honestly didn't get as big a reaction as I figured they would.

[1999-01-30-MPPW-TV] Jerry Lawler vs Sean Stasiak
Nothing match here which is disappointing. Shit finish and Stasiak ends up winning. King gets a lame ass haircut as a result. I thought this would be the spot for advancement on the Stacy front. *

[1999-01-29-OMEGA] Matt & Jeff Hardy vs Serial Thrillaz (Mike Maverick & Shane Helms)
This was great and the perfect mixture of mixing state of the art flying spots of the time into a traditional formula that has been proven to work.Boy, does it ever work as I loved this crowd to death. Amazing to think we are only 3 years away from ROH as the crowd here was raucous for everything and hanging on every bit of the story the four guys were trying to present. This match feels like a rare beacon of hope in a changing landscape of wrestling that can plague matches to this day. ****1/4

[1999-01-25-WWF-Raw] The Rock and Mankind
I really liked this back and forth of Mick throwing money to the crowd and then explaining the night before. I think that was crucial as it wasn't apparent what had happened the night before but it comes into focus here. They set up a big match during Halftime of the Super Bowl.

[1999-01-25-WCW-Nitro] Interview: Bret Hart
This is a good promo all in all and even in Bret dogging the cruisers, he actually does a good job of making Booker T seem very credible.

[1999-01-25-WCW-Nitro] Bam Bam Bigelow vs Scott Hall (Ladder)
I didn't get the sense of this being Hall's best singles match in WCW. Blanking on something better right off hand but I only thought this was decent. It featured some big spots but was also aimless and boy has all the heat from Bigelow after his hot debut almost been completely erased. **1/4

[1999-01-25-WCW-Nitro] NWO and NWO B-Team
This was crap all around. Stevie cant see the writing on the wall that he is on the B-team. Then Hennig gets jumped when he has been nothing but really loyal and actually put his neck out on the line a lot more than most NWO members. Stevie is wearing a $500 shirt. This felt like Nash booking for himself.

[1999-01-24-WWF-Royal Rumble] Royal Rumble
In clip form, this isn't half bad and I actually like Cole's call of Vince winning. The heat here was also great. I did watch this Rumble in full last year and while it wasn't good, I didn't see a huge difference in quality from the 1988, 1995 and big chunks of the 93 and 91 ones honestly.

[1999-01-24-WWF-Royal Rumble] Mankind vs The Rock ('I Quit')
The chairshots are what they are. An unfortunate even that we know too much detail about. That being said, I was shocked at how much I liked the match surrounding it. The gimmick does have a hole in it as Loss mentions but Rock really took some steps here in being a ring general in my opinion and had a presence from his strikes to his commentary mid match. The big bumps were mixed around that the match was crafted to become memorable. I have been waiting on these two to have this good of a match and this is their pinnacle so far. ***3/4
